< Hebrews 12 >
1 THEREFORE also seeing we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, laying aside every weight, and that most easily besetting sin, let us run with patience the race lying before us,
Cedawngawh, ningnih ve cingmai amyihna ak sah dyihthing ing anik chung khqi khoep dawngawh ningnih anik kangkhqi boeih ingkaw ak zoei cana ngaih ak kyi sak thawlhnaak ve khawng unawh, ningnih aham a taak law hyt hat qunaak cainaak benna kawdungnaak ing dawng lah u sih.
2 earnestly looking up to Jesus the author and the finisher of faith; who, for the joy set before him, endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Ningmih ak cangnaakkung ingkaw ak soep sakkung Jesu ce mik lyl na u sih, a haiawh zeelnaak ce taak na awm hlai hy thinglam tainaak ce yh hy, chahqainaak ce yh nawh Khawsa ngawihdoelh tang benawh ce ngawi hy.
3 Consider then attentively him that endured from sinners such opposition against himself, that ye be not wearied out, fainting in your souls.
Namik tha hoet nawh namik kaw ama boetnaak aham cemyihna thlakthawlhkhqi a thunkhanaak ak zawk anih ce poek lah uh.
4 As yet ye have not resisted unto blood, struggling against sin.
Thawlhnaak nami tuk awh, thi ang lawng dyna tuk hlan uhyk ti.
5 And have you forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you, as children, “My son, count not lightly of the Lord’s childlike correction, nor faint when under his rebuke:
Cakhqi amyihna nangmih a venawh thapeeknaak awih kqawn awm hilh hawh uhyk ti: “Ka Capa, Bawipa a toelnaak ce a mailai na koeh poek, ani zyih awh ce nak kaw koeh boet sak,
6 for whom the Lord loveth he correcteth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”
‘Bawipa ing a lungnaak thlangkhqi ni a toel hy, a cana a taak thlangkhqi boeih ce phep hy”
7 If ye patiently endure correction, God carries himself towards you as his children: for who is the son whom the father doth not correct?
Kyinaak ce toelnaak amyihna poek lah; Khawsa ing cakhqi amyihna ni ani taak hy. Kawmih a ca nu a pa ing a toel kaana ak awm?
8 If then ye are without correction, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not children.
Toel na am nami awm mantaw (thlang boeih toel na awm hy), nangmih taw ca tang tang na am awm u tiksaw caqukkhqi na ni nami awm.
9 If then we have had the fathers of our flesh for correctors, and reverenced them; shall we not much more be under subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they indeed for a few days as seemed proper to themselves corrected us; but he for our own advantage, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Ningmih a pakhqi ing ak leek soeih na poeknaak ing kawlhkalh awhkaw ham ni toel khqi hy; ningnih ing amah ciimcaihnaak ak khuiawh ni paa thainaak aham khawsa ing ningnih a leeknaak aham ni toel khqi hy.
11 Now all correction at the moment seemeth not to be cause for joy, but for sorrow; but after a while it produceth peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have thereby been disciplined.
Kawmih a toelnaak awm a toel tloek awhtaw am awm hqa hy, tlo hy. Cehlai, a huna taw phep na ak awmkhqi ing dyngnaak ing ngaihdingnaak ce aat uhy.
12 Wherefore stretch out again the hands that hang down, and the paralytic knees;
Cedawngawh, tha amak awm nami baankhqi ingkaw namim khukkhqi ce ak tha awm sak lah uh.
13 and make strait paths for your feet, that what is halting may not be turned out of the way; but that it may rather be healed.
Nami khaw lehnaak aham lamkhqi ce ak qip na sai uh,” cedawngawh ni khawk khemkhqi ing ceh thai kaana am awm kawm usaw ami qoei hly lat hy.
14 Earnestly seek peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Thlang boeih mi qoep ang qui cana awm thainaak aham ingkaw ak ciim cana awm aham na mik tha lo lah uh; ciimnaak kaa awhtaw u ingawm Bawipa ce am hu thai kaw.
15 carefully observing lest any of you fail of attaining the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and by it many be defiled;
U ingawm Khawsam qeennaak ce sim kaana ama awmnaak nawh kyinaak ing thlang khawzah ama ciimnaak aham ak kqa ak kha ce a ma cawtnaak aham ngaihta uh.
16 lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of bread parted with his birthrights.
Nu ingkaw pa thawlh sainaak, Esau amyihna Khawsa sim kaana am nami awmnaak aham ngaihta uh, anih ingtaw caming qo pang hly kawi ce buh khangoet na zawi hy.
17 For ye know, that when afterwards he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place for a change of his father’s mind, though he sought it earnestly with tears.
Cekcoengawh taw, nami sim amyihna, zoseennaak ce huh aham ngaih lawt hlai hy, am hu thai voel hy. Zoseennaak ce mikphli ing thoeh hlai hy, kawlung am thaw pe thai voel hawh hy.
18 For ye have not approached the mountain that could only be groped for, and that burned with fire, and the thick cloud, and the darkness, and the tempest,
Bi thai na awm nawh mai na ak kqawng tlang na ce nangmih am law uhyk ti; thannaak, khaw na ak than khawhli;
19 and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which they who heard, earnestly begged that the discourse might not be directed to them:
uut yng awi ingkaw cemyih awipau ak zakhqi ing cemyih ak awi ce a maming zaaknaak voel aham qeennaak thoeh uhy,
20 for they could not bear the charge given, and “If but a beast touch the mountain he shall be stoned, or shot through with a dart:”
kawtih a mingmih a venawh peek na ak awm awi: “Qamsa ing zani tlang ce a leh awhtaw, lung ing khawng aham awm hy,” tinaak awi ce am yh thai uhy.
21 and so terrible was the appearance, that Moses said, I am exceedingly afraid and trembling:
Ni huh awh kqih ham a awm awh, Mosi ing, “Kqih doena thyn hy,” tinawh kqawn hy.
22 but ye are come unto mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,
Cehlai nangmih taw Zion Tlang, khan Jerusalem, ak hqing Khawsa a khawk bau na ni nami law hy. Khan ceityih a thong a sang zeel doena a ming cunnaak awh,
23 and to the general assembly and church of the first-born registered in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men perfected,
Khawk khan na ming qee na ak awm caming a thlangboel a venawh ni nami law hy. Nangmih taw thlang boeih awi ak dengkung, Khawsa, soep sak na amik awm thlakdyngkhqi ang Myihla ing,
24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the blood of sprinkling, which speaketh better things than that of Abel.
simpyikung ak thai dyihthing na ak awm Jesu, Abel a thi anglakawh awi ak leek bet ak kqawn thi ing a syp a venawh ni nami law hy.
25 Beware that ye reject not him that speaketh: for if they escaped not, who rejected him, that upon earth spake by divine influence, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him who speaks from heaven:
Awi ak kqawn ce am nami oelhnaak aham ngaihta uh. Khawmdek awh a mingmih a venawh ngaih taaknaak awi ak kqawn peek thlang ce ami oelh awh ama mi loet awhtaw, khawk khan nakawng ningnih ngaih taaknaak awi ak kqawn law ce ni oelh mantaw ikawmyihna ningnih ing ni loet naak khqoet kaw?
26 whose voice then shook the earth, but now he hath promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also the heaven.”
Cedawngawh ak awi ing khawmdek tyn sak hy, cehlai tuh anih ing, “Tuh khawmdek doeng kang tyn sak voel kaana khan awm tyn sak kawng nyng,” tihy.
27 Now this word yet once more manifests the removal of the things shaken, as of things formed, that the things not shaken may endure.
“Bai awh” a tinaak awi vetaw tyn thai na ak awm ik-oeihkhqi boeih khoenaak veni – cetaw tyn thai na amak awmkhqi ce a cak naak poe aham ni.
28 Wherefore receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, may we hold fast the grace, by which we can offer to God acceptably divine service, with reverence and pious awe:
Ningmih ing amak tyn thai qam ce ni huh hawh awh, zeelnaak awi kqawn u sih, kqihchah kawpoek kyinaak do kawi na Khawsa ce bawk u sih,
29 for our God is a devouring fire.
kawtih ningnih a Khawsa taw “Mai na ak kqawng Khawsa ni.
