< Galatians 1 >
1 PAUL the apostle (not sent from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and our Father who raised him from the dead),
Me Paulo, ɔsomafoɔ a ɛnyɛ nnipa anaa onipa bi na ɔfrɛɛ me, na mmom ɛyɛ Yesu Kristo ne Agya Onyankopɔn a ɔnyanee no firii awufoɔ mu no.
2 and all the brethren with me, to the churches of Galatia:
Me ne anuanom a wɔne me wɔ ha nyinaa, De krataa yi kɔma Galati asafo ahodoɔ no nyinaa:
3 grace unto you, and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ;
Adom ne asomdwoeɛ a ɛfiri yɛn Agya Onyankopɔn ne Awurade Yesu Kristo nka mo.
4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might pluck us out of this present wicked world, according to the will of God and our Father: (aiōn )
Yɛn bɔne enti, Kristo yɛɛ ɔsetie maa yɛn Agya Onyankopɔn. Ɔnam so de ne ho bɔɔ afɔdeɛ de gyee yɛn firii bɔne a yɛwɔ mu ɛnnɛ yi mu. (aiōn )
5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Animuonyam nka Onyankopɔn daa nyinaa. Amen. (aiōn )
6 I marvel that ye are so quickly departed from him that called you, by the grace of Christ into another gospel
Mo ho yɛ me nwanwa! Ɛnkyɛree koraa, morepa deɛ ɔnam Kristo adom so frɛɛ mo no akɔ asɛmpa foforɔ ho.
7 which is not another; but there are certain persons who trouble you, and desire to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Nokorɛm, asɛmpa foforɔ biara nni baabi, nanso meka ɛfiri sɛ, nnipa bi wɔ hɔ a wɔredane mo adwene pɛ sɛ wɔsesa Kristo Asɛmpa no.
8 But though even we, or an angel from heaven, preach unto you another gospel, different from that which we have preached to you, let him be an anathema.
Na sɛ yɛn, anaa ɔbɔfoɔ firi ɔsoro bɛka asɛmpa a nsonsonoeɛ da ɛno ne yɛn Asɛmpa no ntam a, onii no bɛkɔ afɔbuo a ɛnni awieeɛ mu.
9 As we have before spoken, and I now repeat it again, If any man preach a gospel different from that ye have received, let him be anathema.
Yɛaka dada na mereti mu bio sɛ: Obiara a ɔbɛka asɛmpa a ɛne Asɛmpa a moagye atom no bɔ abira no bɛkɔ afɔbuo a ɛnni awieeɛ mu.
10 For do I now use persuasions from men, or from God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Deɛ nnipa pene so na mereyɛ yi anaa? Dabi! Mepɛ deɛ Onyankopɔn pene so! Anaa mereyɛ deɛ ɛsɔ nnipa ani? Sɛ megu so yɛ saa deɛ a, na menyɛ Kristo ɔsomfoɔ.
11 But I give you to understand, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not a merely human ministry.
Anuanom, mepɛ sɛ mote aseɛ sɛ, Asɛmpa a meka kyerɛ mo no mfiri onipa hɔ.
12 For I neither received it from man, nor was taught, but by immediate revelation from Jesus Christ.
Me nsa anka amfiri onipa nkyɛn. Saa ara nso na ɛnyɛ onipa na ɔkyerɛɛ me. Ɛyɛ Kristo no ankasa na ɔdaa no adi kyerɛɛ me.
13 For ye have heard of my former manner of life, when I professed Judaism, that in the most outrageous manner I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
Moate sɛ na mesɛe mʼadagyeɛ nyinaa wɔ Yudasom ho. Afei, moate nso sɛ na mede atirimuɔden taa Onyankopɔn akyidifoɔ, na mefaa ɛkwan biara a mɛtumi so pɛɛ sɛ metɔre wɔn ase.
14 and signalized myself in Judaism above many of those of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly a zealot for the traditions of my fathers.
Mʼafɛfoɔ Yudafoɔ no deɛ, na mʼadwene mu abue wɔ Yudasom ho sene wɔn nyinaa. Na mekura yɛn nananom amanneɛ nso mu dendeenden.
15 But when it pleased God, who selected me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
Nanso, Onyankopɔn nam nʼadom so frɛɛ me ansa na wɔrewo me sɛ memmɛsom no. Na berɛ no soo
16 to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach the glad tidings of him to the nations, immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood,
sɛ ɔbɛda ne Ba no adi akyerɛ me, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a mɛka Asɛmpa a ɛfa ne ho akyerɛ amanamanmufoɔ no, mankɔ obiara nkyɛn amma wantu me fo;
17 nor went up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
saa ara nso na mankɔ Yerusalem mankɔhunu asomafoɔ a na wɔdi mʼanim ɛkan no. Mmom, mekɔɔ Arabia prɛko pɛ ɛnna mesane mʼakyi baa Damasko.
18 Afterwards at the expiration of three years I went up unto Jerusalem to pay a visit to Peter, and I abode with him fifteen days.
Mfeɛ mmiɛnsa akyi na mekɔɔ Petro nkyɛn wɔ Yerusalem ne no kɔdii nkɔmmɔ. Medii ne nkyɛn dadu nnanum.
19 But I saw no other of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.
Manhunu ɔsomafoɔ biara wɔ hɔ ka Awurade nua Yakobo ho.
20 Now respecting the things which I write unto you, behold, in the presence of God, I lie not.
Meka kyerɛ mo, Onyankopɔn anim sɛ deɛ meretwerɛ yi yɛ nokorɛ trodoo.
21 Afterwards I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
Ɛno akyi, mebaa Siria ne Kilikia.
22 and I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea, which are in Christ:
Saa ɛberɛ no na Kristo asafo ahodoɔ a wɔwɔ Yudea no mu nnipa nnim me.
23 only they had heard, that he who persecuted us in time past, now preaches the faith which he once laid waste.
Nsɛm a na wɔaka afa me ho sɛ, “Afei deɛ, ɔbarima no a na ɔtaa yɛn no ka gyidie a na ɔpɛ sɛ ɔsɛe no no ho asɛm.”
24 And they glorified God on my behalf.
Na me enti, wɔhyɛɛ Onyankopɔn animuonyam.
