< Ephesians 1 >
1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
ⲁ̅ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲉⲫⲉⲥⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅.
2 grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
ⲃ̅⳿ⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly things in Christ;
ⲅ̅⳿ϥ⳿ⲥⲙⲁⲙⲁⲧ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
4 as he hath elected us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love:
ⲇ̅ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲟⲧⲡⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ϧⲁϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲕⲁⲧⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲑⲱⲗⲉⲃ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ.
5 having predestinated us for his adopted children by Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
ⲉ̅⳿ⲉⲁϥⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛⲑⲁϣⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓϯⲙⲁϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ.
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, whereby he hath made us acceptable in that beloved one;
ⲋ̅ⲉⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ.
7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
ⲍ̅ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲡⲓⲭⲱ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲡⲁⲣⲁ⳿ⲡⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁ⳿ⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲭ͞ⲣⲥ̅.
8 wherein he hath abounded towards us with all wisdom and intelligence,
ⲏ̅ⲑⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲉⲣϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲕⲁϯ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.
9 having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in himself;
ⲑ̅⳿ⲉⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉϥϯⲙⲁϯ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲙⲛⲏⲧϥ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
10 at the dispensation of the fulness of the appointed times to gather together under one head all things in Christ, whether they be things in heaven or things in earth, in him:
ⲓ̅ⲉⲩⲟⲓⲕⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲕ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
11 in whom also we have obtained our inheritance, predestinated according to the purpose of him who effectually worketh all things according to the counsel of his own will:
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲑⲁϣⲧⲉⲛ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ.
12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first had hope in Christ.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
13 In whom ye also trusted after ye had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, ye have been sealed with the holy Spirit of promise,
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ ⲉⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲁ.
14 which is the earnest of our inheritance, until the final redemption, acquired by him, come, to the praise of his glory.

15 For this cause I also, since I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love ye have to all saints,
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
16 have not ceased offering up my praises for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation by the knowledge of him;
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϯ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϭⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ.
