< Colossians 2 >

1 FOR I wish you to know how great a struggle I sustain for you, and those at Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
Mepɛ sɛ mema mo ne nnipa a wɔwɔ Laodikea no ne wɔn a wɔnhunuu me da no hunu aperepereɛ denden a meredi wɔ wɔn ho.
2 that their hearts may be comforted, firmly united together in love, and unto all riches of full assurance of understanding, in the knowledge of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
Me botaeɛ ne sɛ, wɔbɛnya nkuranhyɛ wɔ wɔn akoma mu na wɔatena ase ɔdɔ mu sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, wɔbɛnya nteaseɛ a ɛwie pɛyɛ. Na wɔbɛhunu Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a ɛne Kristo no.
3 in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Ɔno so na wɔnam hunu Onyankopɔn nyansa ne nʼadwene.
4 Now this I say, lest any man pervert you with specious discourse.
Meka kyerɛ mo sɛ, mommma obiara mfa akyinnyehunu nnaadaa mo.
5 For though I am absent from you in person, yet I am present with you in spirit, rejoicing and beholding your regular order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
Ɛwom sɛ menni mo nkyɛn wɔ ɔhonam fam deɛ, nanso mewɔ mo nkyɛn wɔ honhom fam. Ɛyɛ me anigye nso sɛ monam Kristo mu gyidie so aka mo ho abom gyina hɔ pintinn.
6 As therefore ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him:
Esiane sɛ moagye Kristo sɛ mo wura enti, mo ne no mmom ntena.
7 rooted and built up on him, and confirmed in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Monnye nhini wɔ ne mu; momfa mo nkwa nto ne so na mo gyidie mu nyɛ den daa sɛdeɛ wɔkyerɛɛ mo no, na monna no ase.
8 Beware that no man make a prey of you by means of philosophy and vain delusion, after the tradition of men, after the principles of the world, and not after Christ:
Monhwɛ yie na obi amfa ne nnaadaa a ɛfiri nnipa nkyerɛkyerɛ ne ewiase ahonhom mu a ɛmfiri Kristo no amfa mo nnommum.
9 for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily;
Ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn tebea nyinaa ara te Kristo onipadua mu,
10 and ye are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power:
na mo nso Kristo ahyɛ mo ma, na tumidie ne mpaninnie biara hyɛ Kristo ase.
11 in whom also ye have been circumcised with the circumcision not made with hands, by the putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, through the circumcision of Christ:
Mo ne no ka bɔɔ mu no, wɔtwaa mo twetia a ɛnyɛ onipa na ɔtwaa mo, na mmom, ɛyɛ Kristo no ankasa na ɔtwaa mo twetia de tee mo firii onipadua a ɛho nteɛ no tumi ase.
12 buried with him in baptism, in which also ye have been raised up together with him by faith, the energy of God, who raised him from the dead.
Wɔbɔɔ mo asu no nso, wosiee mo ne Kristo. Afei wonyanee mo baa nkwa mu, ɛfiri sɛ na mowɔ gyidie wɔ Onyankopɔn tumi mu a ɛnyanee Kristo firii awufoɔ mu no.
13 And you, who were dead in sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened with him, freely forgiving you all trespasses;
14 and hath blotted out the handwriting in ordinances that was against us, which was the obstacle to us, and took it from the midst, nailing it to the cross;
Onyankopɔn pepaa yɛn mmarato; na ɔde ne nyinaa kɔɔ asɛnnua so kɔbɔɔ no asɛnnua mu.
15 spoiling principalities and powers, he exposed them to view openly, triumphing over them on it.
Ɛhɔ na Kristo dii mpaninnie ne tumidie nyinaa so. Ɔmaa ewiase nyinaa hunuu sɛdeɛ ɔfaa wɔn sɛ nneduafoɔ ɛberɛ a ɔhyɛɛ ne nkonimdie ho fa no.
16 Let no man therefore judge you concerning what you eat, or what you drink, or the observance of a feast, or new moon, or the sabbaths;
Enti, mommma obiara nnhyehyɛ mmara a ɛfa deɛ modi anaa monom, deɛ ɛfa nna kronkron anaa deɛ ɛfa asrane foforɔ afahyɛ anaa deɛ ɛfa home nna ho mmma mo.
17 which are merely shadows of things to come: but the body is Christ’s.
Saa nneɛma no nyinaa yɛ nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a ɛkyerɛ deɛ ɛyɛ nokorɛ a ɛbɛba no. Kristo ne nokorɛ no.
18 Let no man juggle you out of your prize, voluntary in his humility and the worship of angels, intruding into things which he never saw, vainly puffed up by his carnal imagination;
Mommma nnipa a wɔboa pa brɛ wɔn ho ase anaa wɔsom abɔfoɔ nnaadaa mo; wɔhoahoa wɔn ho sɛ wɔanya anisoadehunu. Saa ahantanfoɔ yi wɔ anifire su.
19 and not firmly attached to the head, from which the whole body, by joints and ligaments, harmoniously adjusted and closely compacted, increaseth with increase from God.
Saa nnipa yi nyɛ Kristo a ɔyɛ onipadua no nyinaa Ti no dea bio. Kristo na ɔma onipadua no ahoɔden na ɔka onipadua no akwaa nyinaa bɔ mu, ma ɛnyini sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn pɛ sɛ ɛnyini no.
20 If then ye have been dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye dogmatically taught,
Mo ne Kristo awu enti, moate mo ho afiri ahonhom a wɔdi ewiase so no ho. Adɛn enti na mobɔ mo bra sɛ nnipa a wɔhyɛ saa ewiase no ase? Adɛn enti na modi saa mmara no a ɛkyerɛ sɛ,
21 eat not, nor talk, nor touch,
“Monnsɔ yei mu, monnni yei, mommfa mo nsa nka!” no so?
22 (all which things tend to corruption by abuse) according to the injunctions and doctrines of men?
Saa mmara ahodoɔ yi nyinaa yɛ nnipa ahyɛdeɛ ne ne nkyerɛkyerɛ a ɛfa nneɛma a yɛyɛ wɔ asase yi so a daakye ɛbɛtwam.
23 Which things indeed hold forth an appearance of wisdom in will-worship, and humility, and bodily mortification, though not of any value, but a gratification to the flesh.
Ayɛ sɛ saa Mmara yi so die yɛ pa ara, na ɛma wodɔ Onyankopɔn, anaasɛ ɛma wobrɛ wo ho ase ma wohyɛ wo ho so. Nanso, saa mmara yi nni tumi biara wɔ onipa akɔnnɔ bɔne so.
