1 Timothy 5
1 REBUKE not harshly an aged man, but admonish him as a father; the younger men as brethren;
कोयी बुजूर्ग ख कठोरता सी मत डाट, पर ओख बाप समझ क बिनती कर, अऊर जवानों ख भाऊ मान क व्यवहार कर;
2 the aged women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
बूढ्ढी बाईयों ख माता जान क; अऊर जवान बाईयों ख पूरी पवित्रता सी बहिन जान क समझाय दे।
3 Honour the widows, that are widows indeed.
उन विधवावों को, ध्यान रख, जो सचमुच जरूरत मन्द हंय।
4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn as their first duty to shew their piety towards their own family, and make a grateful return to their progenitors: for this is becoming and acceptable before God.
यदि कोयी विधवा को बालबच्चा अऊर नाती-पोता होना, त उन्न अपनो माय बाप अऊर दादा दादी को पालन पोषन को बदला चुकावन अऊर अपनो परिवार की चिन्ता करन को द्वारा अपनो धर्म को कार्य ख अपनो जीवन कार्य म लाये कहालीकि येको सी परमेश्वर खुश होवय हय।
5 But she who is a widow indeed, and abandoned to solitude, hopeth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
जो विधवा सचमुच जरूरत मन्द हय, अऊर ओको कोयी नहाय, अऊर ओन अपनी पूरी आशा वा परमेश्वर पर रखी हय, अऊर रात दिन बिनती अऊर प्रार्थना करतो हुयो परमेश्वर सी मदत मांगय हय;
6 But she who lives voluptuously is dead, though she liveth.
पर जो विधवा भोगविलास म जीवय हय, वा जीतो जी मर गयी हय।
7 And these things inculcate, that they may be blameless.
इन बातों को भी निर्देश दियो कर ताकि हि निर्दोष रहे।
8 But if any man provide not for his own relations, and especially for those more immediately of his own family, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
पर यदि जो कोयी अपनो रिश्तेदार अऊर अपनो घराना की चिन्ता नहीं करेंन, त ऊ विश्वास सी मुकर गयो हय अऊर अविश्वासी सी भी बुरो बन गयो हय।
9 Let no widow be put on the list under sixty years of age, who hath been the wife of one husband,
उन विधवा को सुची म आर्थिक मदत ले रही हय वाच विधवा को नाम लिख्यो जाये जो साठ साल सी कम की नहीं हो, अऊर एकच पति की विश्वास लायक हो,
10 bringing attestation of her good works; that she hath well educated her children, that she hath been hospitable to strangers, that she hath washed the saints feet, that she hath assisted the afflicted, that she hath followed diligently every good work.
अऊर भलो काम म अच्छी रही हो, जेन बच्चा को पालन-पोषन करयो होना; अतिथियों की सेवा करी होना, सन्तो को पाय धोयो होना, दुखियों कि मदत करी होना, अऊर हर एक अच्छो काम म मन लगायो होना।
11 But the younger widows reject: for when they give themselves to wantonness contrary to Christ, they will marry;
पर जवान विधवावों ख सुची म सम्मिलित मत करो, कहालीकि मसीह को प्रति उन्को समर्पन पर जब उनकी विषय वासना की पूरी इच्छा हावी होवय हय त हि बिहाव करनो चाहवय हंय,
12 incurring censure, for having violated their former engagement.
अऊर दोषी ठहरावय हंय, कहालीकि उन्न अपनो पहिले प्रतिज्ञा ख तोड़ दियो हय।
13 And at the same time also they learn to be idle, visiting about in the houses; and not merely idle, but talkative and inquisitive, speaking things they ought not.
येको अलावा बिना काम को बनय हय अऊर घर-घर घुम क आलसी होनो सीखय हंय, अऊर केवल आलसी होनोच नहीं घर घर बाते करती रह्य हय अऊर बेवजह व्यस्त होवय हय असी बाते बोलय हय जो उन्ख नहीं बोलनो चाहिये।
14 I would therefore have the younger widows to marry, bear children, govern their house, give no occasion to the adversary to bring a reproach on them.
येकोलायी मय यो चाहऊ हय कि जवान विधवाये बिहाव करे, अऊर बच्चा जने अऊर घरदार सम्भाले, अऊर कोयी विरोधी ख बदनाम करन को अवसर नहीं दे।
15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.
कहालीकि कुछ एक बहक क शैतान को पीछू भय गयो हंय।
16 But if any man or woman who believes hath widows their relations, let him provide for them, and let not the church be burdened; that there may be a sufficiency for the real widows.
यदि कोयी विश्वासिनी को यहां विधवाये होना, त वाच उनकी मदत करेंन कि मण्डली पर बोझ नहीं हो, ताकि ऊ उनकी मदत कर सकेंन जो सचमुच विधवाये जरूरत मन्द हंय।
17 Let the elders who preside properly be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who are laborious in preaching and teaching.
जो बुजूर्ग मण्डली को अच्छो इन्तजाम करय हंय, विशेष कर क् हि जो वचन सुनावन अऊर सिखावन म मेहनत करय हंय, दोय गुना मजूरी को लायक समझ्यो जाये।
18 For the Scripture saith, “Thou shalt not muzzle the ox while he treadeth out the corn.” And again, “The labourer is worthy of his hire.”
कहालीकि शास्त्र कह्य हय, “दांवन वालो बईल को मुंह मत बान्धजो,” कहालीकि “मजूर अपनी मजूरी को हक्कदार हय।”
19 Against a presbyter receive not an accusation, except it be from two or three witnesses.
कोयी दोष कोयी बुजूर्ग पर लगायो जाय त दोय यां तीन गवाहों को बिना ओख मत सुन।
20 Those who sin rebuke before all, that the rest also may tremble.
पाप करन वालो ख सब को सामने डाट दे, ताकि अऊर लोग भी डरे।
21 I adjure thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
परमेश्वर, अऊर मसीह यीशु अऊर चुन्यो हुयो स्वर्गदूतों ख मौजूद जान क मय तोख चेतावनी देऊ हय इन निर्देषो ख मानतो रह्य, अऊर बिना मतभेद को कोयी भी काम पक्षपात अऊर कोयी एक को बाजू ले क मत कर।
22 Lay hands hastily on no man, nor share another’s sins: keep thyself pure;
मण्डली सेवा नियुक्ति लायी कोयी पर तुरतच हाथ मत रखजो, अऊर दूसरों को पापों म सामिल मत होजो; अपनो आप ख पवित्र बनायो रखजो।
23 confine thyself no longer to water-drinking; but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake, and thy frequent indispositions.
केवल पानीच पीवन वालो मत रह्य, पर अपनो पेट को अऊर अपनो बार-बार बीमार होन को वजह थोड़ो-थोड़ो अंगूररस भी काम म लायो कर।
24 Some men’s sins are glaringly manifest, going before to judgment; and after others also they follow to detection.
कुछ लोगों को पाप प्रगट होय जावय हंय अऊर न्याय लायी पहिले सी पहुंच जावय हंय, पर कुछ लोगों को पाप बाद म प्रगट होवय हंय।
25 In like manner also the good works of some are previously manifest; and it is not possible that what they have besides should be concealed.
योच तरह अच्छो काम भी स्पष्ट रूप सी प्रगट होवय हय पर जो काम प्रगट नहीं होवय हि लूक नहीं सकय।
