1 Peter 4
1 CHRIST then having suffered for us in the flesh, be ye also in mind armed for the same conflict: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sinning;
इस करकै मसीह नै दुख ठाया जिब उसनै देह रूप धारण करया, थारा भी रविया उस्से तरियां दुख उठाण का होणा चाहिए, जिसा उसका था, क्यूँके जै थमनै मसीह खात्तर दुख ठाण की सोच ली सै, तो थमनै पाप ना करण की भी सोच ली सै, ताके आग्गै तै कदे थम पाप ना करो।
2 that he might not spend the remaining space of life in the flesh after human passions, but the divine will.
उस कारण वो इन्सान अपणी बाकी की जिन्दगी, इस दुनिया म्ह पापमय अभिलाषायां नै पूरी करण कै खात्तर न्ही इस्तमाल करदा, पर वो, वो करै सै जो परमेसवर उस ताहीं करण कै खात्तर कहवै सै।
3 For the time past of life is enough for us to have wrought the will of the heathen, when we walked in all impurities, lewd appetites, excess of wine, revels, drinking-bouts, and abominable idolatries;
पैहले थमनै भोत सारा बखत वो काम करण म्ह बेकार कर दिया जिस म्ह गैर बिश्वासी खुशी मनावै सै, जिस तरियां लुचपण की बुरी अभिलाषाओ, मतवाळापण, लीलाक्रीड़ा, दारु-बाजी, जारी अर घृणित मूर्तिपूजा जिसे काम्मां तै परमेसवर नफरत करै सै।
4 wherein they think it a strange thing, that you are not running with them into the same gulph of profligacy, spreading every scandalous report of you:
इस कारण थारे पुराणे मित्तर अचम्भा करै सै, के थम इसे अंधाधुंध लुचपण म्ह उनका साथ न्ही देंदे, अर वे इब थमनै गाळी देवै सै।
5 who shall give an account to him, who holds himself ready to judge the living and the dead.
पर वे उसनै जो जिन्दयां अर मरे होए माणसां का न्याय करण नै त्यार सै, लेक्खा देवैगें।
6 For to this end was the gospel preached to those that are dead, that they might be judged indeed in the flesh according to the will of men, but live in spirit according to the will of God.
योए कारण सै के सुसमाचार उन माणसां ताहीं सुणाया गया, जो इब मर चुके सै, हालाकि वे सब माणसां की तरियां मरण कै जोग्गे ए थे, इब वे आत्मा म्ह परमेसवर के साथ हमेशा कै खात्तर रहवै सै।
7 But the end of all things is near: be ye therefore sober-minded, and vigilant in prayers.
सारी बात्तां का अन्त तावळा होणआळा सै, इस करकै सावधान रह अर शान्त मन राख ताके तू प्रार्थना कर सकै।
8 But above all things have fervent love towards each other: for love will conceal a multitude of faults.
सारया म्ह बढ़िया बात या सै के एक-दुसरे तै घणा प्यार करो, क्यूँके जै थम माणसां तै प्यार करोगे तो थम उन ताहीं माफ करण खात्तर तैयार रहोगे, जो थारा बुरा करै सै।
9 Exercise hospitality one towards another without grudgings.
बिना कुड़कुड़ाए एक-दुसरे की मेहमान-नवाजी करो।
10 Let every one, according as he hath received a gift, minister it to others, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
हरेक इन्सान ताहीं परमेसवर के जरिये काबलियत मिली सै अर वो उस काबलियत नै दुसरे लोग्गां की मदद करण खात्तर इस्तमाल करै, वो परमेसवर के आच्छे सेवक की तरियां उसके अनुग्रह के जरिये दिए गए वरदानां का बढ़िया इस्तमाल करै।
11 If any man speak, let it be agreeably to the oracles of God; if any man act as a deacon, let it be from the strength which God supplieth: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory and might for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
जै थारे धोरै प्रचार करण का वरदान सै, तो थमनै परमेसवर के वचन का प्रचार करणा चाहिए, जै थारे धोरै दुसरयां की मदद करण का वरदान सै, तो उस शक्ति तै करो जो परमेसवर नै थारे ताहीं दी सै, फेर जो भी काम करोगे, यीशु मसीह के जरिये परमेसवर नै महिमा मिलैगी, सारी महिमा अर सामर्थ युगानुयुग उस्से का सै। आमीन। (aiōn g165)
12 Beloved, be not amazed at the fiery trial among you which is to bring you to the test, as though something strange happened to you;
हे प्यारे बिश्वासी भाईयो, उन दुखां कै खात्तर अचम्भा ना करो जो थम सहण लागरे सों, क्यूँके थम मसीह के कुह्वाओ सों, ये चीज इस खात्तर होण लागरी सै, क्यूँके सचमुच थम यीशु पै बिश्वास करो सों, तो इसा ना समझो के अनोक्खी बात थारे ए गैल होण लागरी सै।
13 but as ye share in the sufferings of Christ rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory also ye may hail him with exultations.
इस बात खात्तर खुश होओ, के थम मसीह के दुख म्ह साझेदारी हो सके, उस बजह तै जिब मसीह बोहड़ के आवैगा, अपणी महिमा लोग्गां नै दिखाण खात्तर, तो थम खुशी तै भर जाओगे।
14 If ye suffer reproach for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: by them indeed he is blasphemed, but by you he is glorified.
फेर जै मसीह कै नाम कै खात्तर थारी बुराई करी जावै सै तो थम धन्य सो, क्यूँके परमेसवर की महिमामय आत्मा सै जो थारे म्ह रहवै सै।
15 Let no one of you then suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or a meddler in other persons’ business.
जै दुख ठाओ सों, तो यो दुख खून्नी, चोर, किसे बुरे काम, या किसे और के काम म्ह दखलंदाजी करण के कारण न्ही होणा चाहिए।
16 But if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him give glory to God on this very account.
पर जै मसीह होण कै कारण दुख पावै, तो शर्मिन्दा ना होइयो, पर इस बात कै खात्तर परमेसवर की महिमा करो, क्यूँके थम उसके कुह्वाओ सों।
17 For now is the time when judgment is commencing at the house of God; and if it begin with us, what will be the end of those who obey not the gospel of God?
क्यूँके वो बखत आण पोंहच्या सै, के पैहल्या परमेसवर के माणसां का न्याय करया जावैगा, अर जिब के न्याय की शरुआत म्हारै ए तै होगी, तो उनका के अन्त होगा जो परमेसवर के सुसमाचार नै न्ही मानते?
18 And if the righteous man is hardly saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
जिसा पवित्र ग्रन्थ कहवै सै, के “जै धर्मी माणस ए मुश्किल तै उद्धार पावैगा, तो भगतिहीन अर पापी का के ठिकाणा?”
19 Wherefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to him in well-doing as to the faithful Creator.
ज्यांतै जो परमेसवर की मर्जी कै मुताबिक दुख ठावै सै, उननै परमेसवर पै सदा बिश्वास करते रहणा चाहिए, जिसनै उन ताहीं बणाया सै। परमेसवर नै जो भी वादा करया सै, उस ताहीं वो हमेशा पूरा करै सै, इस खात्तर हमनै हमेशा भलाई करदे रहणा चाहिए।
