< 1 Corinthians 13 >

1 THOUGH I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become as sounding brass, and tinkling cymbal.
Mihing le vantungmi te kam taw ka pau thei hial zong, itna ka nei bale, keima sia zam nging bang lel, a hibale daktal ki tum bang lel ka hihi.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries, and all manner of science; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
Kamsang thu pualak thiamna tel nei in, thuku theampo le pilna theampo ka he zong in; taciang upna theampo ka nei a; mual te ka ki khinsak thei phial zong, itna ka nei bale, keima sia bangma ka hi bua hi.
3 And if I deal out all my goods in alms, and deliver up my body that I should be burned, but have not love, I am nothing advantaged by it.
Taciang mizawng te vakna tu in ka neisa theampo te ka piasiat a, taciang ka pumpi sia mei taw ki hal tu in pia kama leng zong, itna ka nei bale, bangma phattuamna om ngawl hi.
4 Love is long-suffering, is kind; love envieth not; love is no vain boaster, is not inflated with pride,
Itna sia thinsau a, pha hi; itna in haza ngawl hi; itna sia kiphasak ngawl a, kisuangtak ngawl hi,
5 doth not act unseemly, seeketh not her own advantage, is not passionate, thinketh no evil;
A hoi ngawl in ngamta ngawl hi, ama atu bek zong ngawl hi, thintom ngawl hi, a pha ngawl te ngaisun ngawl hi;
6 rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Phat ngawlna ah lungdam ngawl hi, ahihang thuman thu ah lungdam hi;
7 beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Na theampo ah thuak a, na theampo um hi, na theampo lamen a, na theampo ah thinsau hi.
8 Love never faileth: but if there be prophetic gifts, they shall be no more; if tongues, they shall cease; if science, it shall vanish away.
Itna sia bo ngei ngawl hi: ahihang kamsang thu pualak thiamna te a om zong in, bokik tu hi; kam tatuam pau thiamna a om zong in, cimit kik tu hi; heakna om zong in, maimang kik tu hi.
9 For we know partially, and prophesy partially.
Banghangziam cile a kicing ngawl in i he a, taciang a kicing ngawl in mailam thu i pualak hi.
10 But when that which is perfect cometh, then that which is in part shall be done away.
Ahihang a kicing sia hong thet ciang in, a kicing ngawl teng bo siat tu hi.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child: but when I grew a man, I put away childish things.
Patang ka hi lai in, patang bang in ka pau a, patang bang in ka he hi, taciang patang bang in ka ngaisun hi: ahihang ka khanthin ciang in patang ngeina te ka vawk siat hi.
12 For now we see by reflected light, indistinctly; but then face to face: now I know partially; but then shall I know even as I am known.
Banghangziam cile tu in limlang sung ah thim milmial in i mu hi; ahihang maitang kisi in i mu lai tu hi: tu in a kicing ngawl in i he hi; ahihang keima hong heak bang in ka he kik veve tu hi.
13 But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greater of these is love.
Tu in upna, lametna, itna, hi te thum kip hi; ahihang hiteng sung pan itna sia thupibel hi.
