< 1 Corinthians 12 >

1 NOW concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Me nuanom, merebɛkyerɛ mo nsɛm a ɛfa Honhom Kronkron no akyɛdeɛ no mu. Anuanom, mepɛ sɛ mohunu nokorɛ no.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, drawn away after the idols that are dumb, even as ye have been led.
Monim sɛ ɛberɛ a na moyɛ abosonsomfoɔ no na ahoni a awuwu na ɛdi mo so de mo kɔ bɔne mu.
3 Wherefore I advertise you, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, call Jesus anathema: and no man can say, Lord Jesus, but by the Holy Ghost.
Deɛ ɛsɛ sɛ mote aseɛ ne sɛ, obiara a ɔwɔ Onyankopɔn Honhom akwankyerɛ no ka sɛ “Yesu yɛ Awurade,” na ɔnnome Yesu.
4 But there are diversities of gifts, though the same Spirit.
Ɛwom sɛ Honhom Kronkron no ara na ɛkyɛ akyɛdeɛ no, nanso saa akyɛdeɛ no gu ahodoɔ.
5 And there are diversities of services, but the same Lord.
Akwan ahodoɔ bebree wɔ hɔ a wɔfa so som, nanso Awurade korɔ no ara na wɔsom no.
6 And there are diversities of mighty operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.
Tumi ahodoɔ bebree wɔ hɔ a wɔnam so som, nanso Onyankopɔn korɔ no ara na ɔma obiara tumi ma wɔde som.
7 Now to every one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for usefulness.
Honhom Kronkron no nam yɛn mmaako mmaako so da ne ho adi ɛkwan bi so ma ɛboa yɛn nyinaa.
8 For to one man by the Spirit is given wise discourse; but to another speech communicative of knowledge by the same Spirit;
Honhom Kronkron no ma obi nyansa na Honhom Kronkron no ara nso ama obi osuahunu.
9 to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing diseases by the same Spirit;
Saa Honhom Kronkron no ara ma obi gyidie na ɔma obi nso tumi a ɔde sa nyarewa.
10 to another miraculous powers; to another prophecy; to another discernments of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
Honhom Kronkron no ma obi tumi ma ɔyɛ anwanwadeɛ; obi nso, ɔma no tumi ma ɔka Onyankopɔn asɛm; na ɔfoforɔ nso ɔma no tumi ma ɔtumi kyerɛ nsonsonoeɛ a ɛda akyɛdeɛ a ɛfiri Honhom Kronkron no ne deɛ ɛmfiri Honhom Kronkron no mu. Honhom Kronkron no ma obi tumi ma ɔka kasa foforɔ na ɔma ɔfoforɔ nso tumi ma ɔkyerɛ kasa foforɔ no ase.
11 but all these things worketh that one and the same Spirit, distributing peculiar gifts to every one even as he wills.
Ɛyɛ Honhom Kronkron korɔ no ara na ɔyɛ yeinom nyinaa; akyɛdeɛ ahodoɔ a ɔpɛ sɛ ɔde ma obiara no, ɔde ma no.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, but all the members of that one body, though many, are one body: so also is Christ.
Kristo te sɛ nipadua baako a ɛwɔ akwaa bebree; ɛwom sɛ ɛwɔ akwaa bebree, nanso ɛyɛ onipadua korɔ no ara.
13 For by one Spirit we all have been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free men; and we have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
Wɔnam saa ɛkwan korɔ no ara so abɔ yɛn Yudafoɔ ne amanamanmufoɔ ne nkoa ne yɛn a yɛde yɛn ho no asu. Wɔnam Honhom Kronkron korɔ no so abɔ yɛn asu ahyɛ saa onipadua korɔ no ara mu. Na wɔde saa Honhom Kronkron no ama yɛn sɛ yɛnnom.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Nipadua no ankasa nyɛ akwaa baako; ɛyɛ akwaa bebree.
15 If the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it, on this account, not of the body?
Sɛ nan ka sɛ, “Esiane sɛ menyɛ nsa enti, menka onipadua no ho” a, ɛnkyerɛ sɛ ɔnyɛ onipadua no fa bi.
16 And if the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it not therefore of the body?
Na sɛ aso ka sɛ, “Esiane sɛ menyɛ aniwa enti, menka onipadua no ho” a, ɛnkyerɛ sɛ ɔnyɛ onipadua no fa bi.
17 If the whole body were eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
Na sɛ onipadua no nyinaa yɛ aniwa a, anka ɛbɛyɛ dɛn ate asɛm? Na sɛ ɛyɛ aso a anka ɛbɛyɛ dɛn ahua adeɛ?
18 But now hath God placed the members, every one of them in the body, as he hath chosen.
Sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn pɛ no no na ɔde akwaa biara siiɛ.
19 But if the whole were one member, where were the body?
Sɛ onipadua no nyinaa yɛ akwaa korɔ a, anka onipadua no bɛyɛ ɛdeɛn?
20 But now the members indeed are many, but the body one.
Sɛdeɛ ɛte no, akwaa gu ahodoɔ, nanso onipadua no yɛ baako pɛ.
21 Nor can the eye say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Yei enti, aniwa ntumi nka nkyerɛ nsa sɛ, “wo ho nhia me!” Saa ara na etire rentumi nka nkyerɛ nan sɛ, “Wo ho nhia me!”
22 Yea, much more the members of the body, which appear to be more feeble, are necessary:
Saa ara na yɛrentumi nyɛ biribiara a akwaa a ɛyɛ mmerɛ no nka ho mma ɛnyɛ yie.
23 and those parts which we esteem as the more dishonourable of the body, on them we bestow more abundant honour, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
Akwaa a yɛsusu sɛ ɛnni mu pii no mmom na yɛhwɛ no yie, na deɛ ɛnyɛ fɛ wɔ onipadua ho no nso yɛhwɛ no yie pa ara.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered together the body, giving more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
Na akwaa a ɛdi mu no, saa ɔhwɛ no ho nhia no. Onyankopɔn ankasa nam ɛkwan bi so akeka onipadua no asisi animu de ahyɛ akwaa a wɔmmuo no animuonyam.
25 that there might be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
Enti nkyekyɛmu biara nni onipadua no mu. Akwaa no nyinaa keka wɔn ho wɔn ho bom.
26 And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; and if one member be exalted, all the members rejoice with it.
Sɛ akwaa baako ho ka a, akwaa a aka no nyinaa ho ka bi. Na sɛ wɔkamfo akwaa no bi a, anigyeɛ ka akwaa a aka no nyinaa.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Enti mo nyinaa moyɛ Kristo onipadua. Na mo mu biara yɛ nʼakwaa.
28 And these also hath God placed in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helpers, directors, different kinds of tongues.
Onyankopɔn ahyehyɛ biribiara pɛpɛɛpɛ wɔ asafo no mu: Deɛ ɛdi ɛkan, asomafoɔ; deɛ ɛtɔ so mmienu, adiyifoɔ; deɛ ɛtɔ so mmiɛnsa, akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ; afei wɔn a wɔyɛ anwanwadeɛ ɛnna wɔn a wɔama wɔn tumi de sa yadeɛ anaa wɔboa afoforɔ anaa wɔkyerɛ wɔn ɛkwan anaa wɔka kasa foforɔ.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
Wɔn nyinaa nyɛ asomafoɔ anaa adiyifoɔ anaa akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ. Ɛnyɛ wɔn nyinaa na wɔwɔ tumi a wɔde yɛ anwanwadeɛ
30 have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
anaa wɔsa nyarewa, anaa wɔka kasa foforɔ anaa wɔkyerɛ deɛ wɔka no ase.
31 But zealously seek the gifts that are the best: and yet I shew unto you a more transcendently excellent way.
Monhwehwɛ akyɛdeɛ a ɛbɛboa mo yie akyiri kwan. Mɛkyerɛ mo ɛkwan foforɔ a ɛyɛ pa ara.
