< 3 John 1 +

1 The Elder, To the beloved Gaius, whom I sincerely love in truth:
Toronoo Gayus fo au sue tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ a. Sodꞌa-moleꞌ mia au, Yohanis, mana malalao nggareiꞌ.
2 Beloved, I pray that in all ways you may prosper and be in good health, just as I know that your soul prospers.
Au oꞌe fo Lamatuaꞌ nanea nggo, naa fo aom afiꞌ hambu hedꞌis, ma ralam maloleꞌ boe.
3 For I rejoiced greatly when some brothers came and testified about the truth that is in you, as indeed you do walk in the truth.
Hambu toronooꞌ ruma, rema dui au oi, ho tungga mukundoo Lamatualain dala masodꞌa ndoo-tetun. Rena ala taꞌo naa ma, rala ngga namahoꞌo nala seli.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
Huu Au umuhoꞌo ala seli mete ma rena oi, ana nggara rasodꞌa tungga dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a ena.
5 Beloved, you are acting faithfully in whatever you accomplish for the brothers and sisters, and especially when they are strangers.
Toronoo susueꞌ e! Mulalao Lamatualain ue-tataon no maloleꞌ ena, leleꞌ simbo malolole toronoo mara mana laoꞌ rereoꞌ ralalao Kristus ue-tataon. Mae nda feꞌe muhine se sa o, simbo se no malole.
6 They have testified to your sincere love before the church. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God,
Atahori mana baliꞌ rema, dui neu atahori saraniꞌ ra sia ia oi, simbo mala toronooꞌ naa ra no maloleꞌ ma sue se. Leleꞌ ia au oꞌe fo tulu-fali mukundoo toronooꞌ naa ra, te naa tao Lamatualain ralan namahoꞌo.
7 for they went out for the sake of the Name, accepting nothing from the heathen.
Ara laoꞌ rereoꞌ mamanaꞌ rakandooꞌ a fo ranori atahori soꞌal Yesus Kristus. Te ara nda simbo tutulu-fafaliꞌ saa sa boe mia atahori nda mamahereꞌ ra sa.
8 Therefore we ought to support such people, that we may be fellow workers with the truth.
De memaꞌ nandaa ena, mete ma hita tulu-fali se. Huu no taꞌo naa, hita talalao Lamatuaꞌ ue-tataon taꞌabꞌue to se.
9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, doesn’t accept what we say.
Feꞌesaꞌan, au haitua susura fee atahori saraniꞌ sia mamanam ena, te Diotrefes soꞌu aon onaꞌ moko-monaen e. Ma nda nau rena au sa.
10 For this reason, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not satisfied with this, he himself doesn’t receive the brothers and sisters, either, and he forbids those who desire to do so and puts them out of the church.
De mete ma au uu sia naa, dei fo au ufadꞌe relo-relo soꞌal saa fo ana taoꞌ ra. Huu ana ola peko-lelekoꞌ, fo nae naꞌatutudꞌaꞌ nggita. Lelenan fai, ana oi hendi Lamatuaꞌ atahorin mana reu sia naa. Boe ma ana akaꞌ dunggu-mbau toronooꞌ mana sia naa ra, fo afiꞌ simbo atahori naa ra. Ma mana nau simboꞌ ra na, ana tola hendi se.
11 Beloved, don’t imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good belongs to God; the one who does evil hasn’t seen God.
Toronoo susueꞌ e! Musi tao tungga atahori mana tao dala maloleꞌ ra. Afiꞌ tungga atahori mana tao dala deꞌulakaꞌ. Te atahori mana tao dala maloleꞌ, sira Lamatualain atahorin. Te atahori mana tao deꞌulakaꞌ, nda rahine Lamatualain sa.
12 Demetrius has received a good testimony from everyone, and from the truth itself. We add our testimony, and you know that our testimony is true.
Conto mana tao maloleꞌ naeni Demetrius. Basa atahori koa-boꞌu e, huu ana tao tungga Lamatualain dala masodꞌa ndoo-tetun. Hai o koa e boe, ma ho bubꞌuluꞌ hai nda mana lelekoꞌ sa.
13 I had many things to write to you, but I would rather not write them to you with pen and ink;
Au feꞌe ae olaꞌ o nggo dalaꞌ hetar, te nda nau suraꞌ neu susura sa.
14 but I hope to see you soon, and we will speak face to face.
Huu au hule-huleꞌ fo nda dooꞌ sa na ata tandaa, fo ruꞌa nggita ola-olaꞌ neuꞌ ena. Baꞌu a na, dei. Toronooꞌ mana sia ia ra haitua hara sodꞌa-moleꞌ. Tulun mendi au hara sodꞌa-mole ngga fee neu toronooꞌ mana sia naa ra, esa-esaꞌ no naran. Sodꞌa-mole, Yohanis
15 Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.
