< 2 John 1 >

1 The Elder, To the chosen lady and her children, whom I sincerely love in truth - and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth -
Ọ bụ okenye ahụ, Na-edegara nwanyị ahụ onye Chineke họpụtara, na ụmụ ya akwụkwọ a, bụ ndị m hụrụ nʼanya nʼime eziokwu. Ọ bụghị naanị m kama ndị niile maara eziokwu ahụ.
2 because of the truth which lives in us and will be with us forever: (aiōn g165)
Nʼihi eziokwu ahụ nke dị nʼime anyị, nke ga-adịgidekwa nʼime anyị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi: (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and sincere love.
Amara, na ebere, na udo nke sitere na Chineke Nna na Jisọs Kraịst, bụ Ọkpara Nna ahụ dịnyere anyị nʼeziokwu nʼịhụnanya.
4 I was very glad to find some of your children walking in truth, just as we have been commanded to do by the Father.
Apụghị m ịkọ ụdị aṅụrị m nwere mgbe m hụrụ na ụfọdụ ụmụ gị na-ebi ndụ ịgbaso eziokwu dịka ihe Nna nyere anyị nʼiwu.
5 Now I ask you, dear lady, not as writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we sincerely love one another.
Ma ugbu a, ezi nwanyị, ọ bụghị iwu ọhụrụ ka m na-edere gị kama nke ahụ e nyere anyị site na mmalite. Ana m arịọ ka anyị hụrịta ibe anyị nʼanya.
6 This is sincere love: that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.
Nke a bụ ịhụnanya ahụ: ka anyị na-ejegharị nʼirube isi nʼiwu ya niile. Dịka unu si nụ ya site na mmalite, unu ahapụkwala ijegharị nʼime ya.
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world - those who don’t acknowledge that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Nʼihi na ọtụtụ ndị nduhie apụọla baa nʼụwa, bụ ndị na-adịghị ekwenye na Jisọs Kraịst bịara nʼoyiyi mmadụ. Onye ọbụla dị otu a bụ onye nduhie bụrụkwa onye na-emegide Kraịst.
8 Watch yourselves, that you might not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may get a full reward.
Lezienụ anya, ka unu ghara itufu ụgwọ ọrụ nke anyị dọgburu onwe anyị nʼọrụ maka ya, kama ka unu nata ụgwọ ọrụ unu nʼuju.
9 Anyone who doesn’t live in the teaching of Christ, but runs away from it, doesn’t have God. One who lives in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t welcome or receive that person into your house,
Ọ bụrụ na onye ọbụla abịa izi unu ihe ọzọ dị iche site nʼozizi a, unu akpọbatala ya nʼụlọ unu, maọbụ nabatakwa ya.
11 for the one who welcomes such a person participates in that person’s evil deeds.
Nʼihi na onye nabatara ya ga-eso onye dị otu a keta oke nʼajọ omume ya.
12 Since I have so many things to write to you, I don’t want to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be made full.
Ọ bụ ezie na enwere m ọtụtụ ihe m chọrọ idere unu, ma achọghị m iji akwụkwọ na inki dee ha. Kama, ana m ele anya ịbịa leta unu ka mụ na unu kwukọrịta okwu ihu nʼihu, ka e sikwa otu a mee ka ọṅụ anyị zuo oke.
13 The children of your chosen sister greet you. Amen.
Ụmụ nwanne gị nwanyị, bụ onye a họpụtara, na-ekele unu.
