Revelation 22

1 And he shewed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out from the throne of God and the Lamb.

And he showed me the river of the Water of Life, clear as crystal, Flowing out from the throne of God, and of the Lamb,

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, is the tree of life, producing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

In the middle of the broad street of the City. On each side of the river was a Tree of Life, Bearing twelve kinds of fruit, Each month yielding its own fruit. And the leaves of the tree Were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse. And the throne of God and the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

And there will be no more curse But in it will be the throne of God and of the Lamb. And his slaves will serve and worship him.

4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.

They will see his face.

5 And there shall be no more night; and they have no need of the light of a candle, nor the light of the sun; because the Lord God shines on them: and they shall reign until the ages of the ages. (aiōn g165)

His name will need no lamplight nor sunlight, Because the Lord God will give them light; And they will reign forever and ever. (aiōn g165)

6 And he said to me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to show to his servants the things which it behooves quickly to come to pass.

Then he said to me. "These words may be trusted, and are true. the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his slaves what must soon take place.

7 Behold, I indeed am coming quickly. Blessed is the one keeping the words of the prophecy of this book.

"And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

8 And I John am the one seeing and hearing these things; and when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel, the one showing me these things.

And I, John, am he who heard and saw these things. And after I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me.

9 And he says to me, See that you do it not: I am your fellow-servant, and one of your brethren the prophets, and of those keeping the words of this book: worship God.

But he said to me. "See thou do it not. I am only a fellow slave with you and your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this Book. "WORSHIP GOD!"

10 And he says to me; Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the season is nigh.

And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the crisis is near.

11 Let the unrighteous one still continue to do injustice; and let the filthy one still be filthy; and let the righteous one still do righteousness; and let the holy one still be sanctified.

He who is wicked, let him be wicked still; He who is filthy, let him be filthy still; He who is righteous, lit him practise righteousness still; And he who is holy, let him be made holy still.

12 Behold, I am coming quickly; and my reward is with me, to give unto each one as his work is.

Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, To give to each man what his actions merit.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, The First and the Last, The Beginning and the End.

14 Happy are those who wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and enter in through the gates into the city.

"Blessed are they who wash their robes, so that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in by the gates into the City.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and harlots, and murderers, and idolaters, and every one doing and loving falsehood.

Without are the dogs, the sorcerers, the immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and all who live and make a lie.

16 I Jesus sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning-star.

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning Star.

17 Both the Spirit and the bride are saying, Come. And let the one hearing say, Come. And let the one thirsting come; let the one who is willing receive the water of life freely.

"And the Spirit and the Bride say ‘Come!’ And let him who hears, say’Come!’ And let him who thirsts, come; And whoever wills, let him take the Water of Life freely."

18 I testify to every one hearing the words of the prophecy of this book. If any one may add to these things, God will add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:

I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If any man shall add to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;

19 and if any one may take from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take his part from the tree of life, and from the holy city, from the things which are written in this book.

and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life, and in the Holy City, about which this book is written.

20 The one testifying these things says, Yes, I am coming quickly. Amen, come Lord Jesus.

He who testifies this says, "Yea, I am coming quickly." Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with the saints!
