Mark 2
1 And again He having come into Capernaum during those days; and it was heard that He was in the house.
Und er ging wiederum nach etlichen Tagen nach Kapernaum hinein, und man hörte, daß er zu Hause sei.
2 And immediately many were assembled together, so that there was no room, even at the door; and He was speaking the word to them.
Und alsbald versammelten sich viele, so daß auch nicht mehr Raum war bei der Tür, und er sagte ihnen das Wort.
3 And they come to Him, carrying a paralytic, borne by four.
Und es kamen zu ihm, die einen Gichtbrüchigen bringen, getragen von vieren.
4 And not being able to come near Him on account of the crowd, they opened the roof where He was: and having lifted it up, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
Und als sie nicht zu ihm nahen konnten, wegen des Volkshaufen, deckten sie das Dach ab, wo er war, und gruben durch, und ließen die Bahre hinunter, worauf der Gichtbrüchige lag.
5 And Jesus seeing their faith says to the paralytic, Child, thy sins are forgiven thee.
Da aber Jesus ihren Glauben sah, sagt er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen: Kind! deine Sünden sind dir vergeben!
6 And certain ones of the scribes were sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
Es waren aber etliche Schriftgelehrte daselbst, die saßen und dachten in ihren Herzen:
7 Why does He speak blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins, except the one God?
Warum redet dieser also Lästerungen? Wer kann Sünden vergeben, außer Einer: Gott?
8 And Jesus immediately knowing in His spirit that they are thus reasoning among themselves, said to them, Why do you thus reason in your hearts?
Und Jesus erkannt alsbald in seinem Geiste, daß sie also bei sich selbst gedachten, und sprachen zu ihnen: Warum denket ihr solches in euern Herzen?
9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take thy bed, and walk about?
Was ist leichter, zum Gichtbrüchigen zu sagen: Vergeben sind deine Sünden, oder: Stehe auf, nimm deine Bahre, und wandle?
10 But in order that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins
Damit ihr aber wisset, daß der Menschensohn Macht hat auf Erden Sünden zu vergeben, so spricht er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen:
11 (He says to the paralytic), I say unto thee, Arise, take thy bed, and go into thy house.
Ich sage dir: Stehe auf, nimm deine Bahre, und gehe in dein Haus!
12 And he arose immediately, and having taken the bed, went out before them all. So that all were astonished, and glorified God, saying, Never have we seen it after this sort.
Und er stund alsblad auf, nahm die Bahre, und ging hinaus vor allen, so daß sie sich entsetzten, Gott lobten, und sprachen: Noch nie haben wir es so gesehen.
13 And He came out again by the sea; and the whole multitude came to Him, and He was teaching them.
Und er ging abermals hinaus an den See, und der ganze Volkshaufe kam zu ihm, und er lehrte sie.
14 And passing along, he saw Levi, the son of Alpheus sitting at the toll, and says to him, Follow me. And rising up, he followed Him.
Und als er vorüberging, sah er Levi, den Sohn Alphäi, an der Zollstätte sitzen, und sagt ihm: Folge mir nach! Und er stund auf, und folgte ihm nach.
15 And it came to pass, while He was sitting at the table in his house, and many publicans and sinners were sitting along with Jesus and his disciples: for they were many, and they followed Him.
Und er geschah da er zu Tische lag in seinem Hause, da lagen auch viele Zöllner und Sünder mit Jesu und seinen Jüngern zu Tische, denn es waren viele und folgten ihm nach.
16 And the scribes and Pharisees, seeing Him eating with the publicans and sinners, were saying to His disciples, Why does He eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
Und die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer, da sie ihn mit den Sündern und Zöllnern essen sahen, sprachen zu seinen Jüngern: Was ist das, daß er mit den Sündern und Zöllnern ißt und trinkt?
17 Jesus hearing, says to them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Und als das Jesus hörte, sagt er ihnen: Die Gesunden haben einen Arzt nicht nötig, sondern die sich übel befinden. Ich bin nicht gekommen Gerechte, sondern Sünder zu berufen.
18 The disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting. And they come and say to Him; Wherefore do the disciples of John and the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples do not fast?
Und die Jünger des Johannes und die Pharisäer waren am Fasten, und kommen und sagen zu ihm: Warum fasten die Jünger des Johannes und die der Pharisäer, deine Jünger aber fasten nicht?
19 And Jesus said to them, Whether are the sons of the bride-chamber able to fast while the bridegroom is with them? So long a time as they have with them the bridegroom they are not able to fast.
Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wie können die Söhne des Hochzeitshauses fasten, solange der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist? So lange sie den Bräutigam bei sich haben, können sie nicht fasten.
20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom must be taken from them, and then they will fast in that day.
Es werden aber Tage kommen, wann der Bräutigam von ihnen weggenommen ist, und dann, an jenem Tage, werden sie fasten.
21 No one putteth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: lest the new take its fullness from the old, and the rent is made worse.
Niemand flickt einen Lappen von ungewalktem Stoff auf ein altes Kleid, sonst reißt das Stück von ihm, das Neue vom Alten, und der Riß wird ärger.
22 No one puts new wine in old bottles: lest the new wine shall break the bottles, and the wine is poured out, and the bottles shall perish: but the new wine is put in new bottles.
Auch tut niemand jungen Wein in alte Schläuche, sonst zersprengt der junge Wein die Schläuche, und der Wein wird verschüttet, und die Schläuche gehen zu Grunde, sondern jungen Wein muß man in neue Schläuche tun.
23 And it came to pass, that He was traveling through the corn-fields on the Sabbath-day; and His disciples began to make the journey plucking the ears.
Und es geschah, daß er am Sabbat durch die Saaten ging, und seine Jünger fingen an einen Weg zu machen, indem sie die Ähren ausrauften.
24 And the Pharisees continued to say to Him, Behold what they are doing on the Sabbath, which is not lawful.
Und die Pharisäer sagten ihm: Siehe, warum tun sie am Sabbat, was nicht erlaubt ist?
25 And He said to them, Have ye not read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, and those with him?
Und er sagte ihnen: Habt ihr noch nie gelesen, was David tat, als er Not litt, und Hunger hatte, und die mit ihm waren?
26 How he entered into the house of God, in the days of Abiathar, the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priest, and he gave it to those being with him?
Wie er einging in das Haus Gottes, zu Abiathar, dem Hohenpriester, und die Schaubrote aß, welche zu essen nur den Priestern erlaubt ist, und er gab auch denen, die mit ihm waren.
27 And He said to them, The Sabbath was made for the sake of man, and not man for the sake of the Sabbath.
Und er sagte ihnen: Der Sabbat ist um des Menschen willen gemacht, und nicht der Mensch um des Sabbats willen.
28 So the Son of man is also Lord of the Sabbath.
So daß der Menschensohn Herr ist auch des Sabbats.
