Luke 10
1 After these things the Lord chose seventy others also, and sent them out two by two before His face, into every place and city, where He was about to come.
A potem Pan wyznaczył jeszcze innych siedemdziesięciu i rozesłał ich po dwóch przed sobą do każdego miasta i miejsca, do którego [sam] miał przyjść.
2 And He said to them, The harvest is indeed great, but the laborers are few: therefore pray you the Lord of the harvest, that He may send forth laborers into His harvest.
I mówił im: Żniwo wprawdzie wielkie, ale robotników mało. Proście więc Pana żniwa, aby wysłał robotników na swoje żniwo.
3 Go: behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.
Idźcie! Oto posyłam was jak baranki między wilki.
4 Take neither purse, nor valise, nor sandals: salute no one by the way.
Nie noście [ze sobą] sakiewki ani torby, ani obuwia. Nikogo też w drodze nie pozdrawiajcie.
5 Into whatsoever house you may enter, first say, Peace be unto this house.
A gdy wejdziecie do jakiegoś domu, najpierw mówcie: Pokój temu domowi.
6 And if the son of peace may be there, your peace shall rest upon it: but if not, it shall return unto you.
Jeśli tam będzie syn pokoju, wasz pokój spocznie na nim, a jeśli nie – wróci do was.
7 Abide in the same house, eating and drinking those things which are with them: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
W tym domu zostańcie, jedząc i pijąc, co mają. Godny jest bowiem robotnik swojej zapłaty. Nie przenoście się z domu do domu.
8 Into whatsoever city you may enter and they may receive you, eat those things which are placed by you:
A gdy wejdziecie do jakiegoś miasta i przyjmą was, jedzcie, co przed wami położą;
9 and heal the sick who are in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.
I uzdrawiajcie chorych, którzy w nim są, i mówcie im: Przybliżyło się do was królestwo Boże.
10 And into whatsoever city you may enter, and they may not receive you, having come out into the streets of the same, say,
A jeśli wejdziecie do jakiegoś miasta, a nie przyjmą was, wyjdźcie na jego ulice i mówcie:
11 Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, do we wipe off against you: but know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand.
Nawet pył z waszego miasta, który przylgnął do nas, strząsamy na was. Jednak wiedzcie, że przybliżyło się do was królestwo Boże.
12 For I say unto you, that it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
A mówię wam, że w ten dzień lżej będzie Sodomie niż temu miastu.
13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works which were wrought in you had been in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting down in sackcloth and ashes.
Biada tobie, Korozain! Biada tobie, Betsaido! Bo gdyby w Tyrze i Sydonie działy się te cuda, które się u was dokonały, dawno by pokutowały, siedząc w worze i popiele.
14 Moreover it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
Dlatego Tyrowi i Sydonowi lżej będzie na sądzie niż wam.
15 And thou, Capernaum, art thou not exalted up to heaven? thou shalt be cast down to Hades. (Hadēs g86)
A ty, Kafarnaum, które jesteś aż do nieba wywyższone, aż do piekła będziesz strącone. (Hadēs g86)
16 He that heareth you heareth me; he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth Him that sent me.
Kto was słucha, mnie słucha, a kto wami gardzi, mną gardzi. Kto zaś mną gardzi, gardzi tym, który mnie posłał.
17 And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subordinated to us in thy name.
I siedemdziesięciu wróciło z radością, mówiąc: Panie, nawet demony nam się poddają ze względu na twoje imię.
18 And He said to them, I saw Satan having fallen as the lightning from heaven.
Wtedy powiedział do nich: Widziałem szatana spadającego z nieba jak błyskawica.
19 Behold I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you.
Oto daję wam moc stąpania po wężach, skorpionach i po wszelkiej mocy nieprzyjaciela, a nic wam nie zaszkodzi.
20 Moreover do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in the heavens.
Jednak nie z tego się cieszcie, że duchy się wam poddają, ale cieszcie się raczej, że wasze imiona są zapisane w niebie.
21 At the same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I praise thee, O Father, Lord of the heaven and the earth, because thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them to babes: yea, Father, because it was thus pleasing in thy sight.
W tej godzinie Jezus rozradował się w duchu i powiedział: Wysławiam cię, Ojcze, Panie nieba i ziemi, że zakryłeś te sprawy przed mądrymi i roztropnymi, a objawiłeś je niemowlętom. Tak, Ojcze, bo tak się tobie upodobało.
22 And turning to His disciples, He said, All things have been delivered to me by my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, except the Father; and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whom He may wish to reveal Him.
Wszystko zostało mi przekazane od mego Ojca i nikt nie wie, kim jest Syn, tylko Ojciec, ani kim jest Ojciec, tylko Syn i ten, komu Syn zechce objawić.
23 And turning to His disciples, privately He said, Happy are your eyes, seeing those things which you see.
Wtedy odwrócił się do uczniów i powiedział [do nich] na osobności: Błogosławione oczy, które widzą to, co [wy] widzicie.
24 For I say unto you, that many kings and prophets desired to see those things which you see, and saw them not; and to hear those things which you hear, and heard them not.
Bo mówię wam, że wielu proroków i królów pragnęło widzieć to, co wy widzicie, a nie zobaczyli, i słyszeć to, co [wy] słyszycie, a nie usłyszeli.
25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up tempting Him, saying, Teacher, having done what shall I inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
A oto powstał pewien znawca prawa i wystawiając go na próbę, zapytał: Nauczycielu, co mam czynić, aby odziedziczyć życie wieczne? (aiōnios g166)
26 He said to him, What has been written in the law? how do you read it?
A on powiedział do niego: Co jest napisane w Prawie? Jak czytasz?
27 And he responding said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with divine love from all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.
A on odpowiedział: Będziesz miłował Pana, swego Boga, całym swym sercem, całą swą duszą, z całej swojej siły i całym swym umysłem, a swego bliźniego jak samego siebie.
28 And He said to him, You answered correctly: do this, and you shall live.
I powiedział mu: Dobrze odpowiedziałeś. Czyń to, a będziesz żył.
29 But he, wishing to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?
On zaś, chcąc się usprawiedliwić, powiedział do Jezusa: A kto jest moim bliźnim?
30 Jesus responding said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and fell among thieves, who indeed having stripped him of his raiment, administered blows, went away, leaving him half dead.
Lecz Jezus odpowiedział: Pewien człowiek schodził z Jerozolimy do Jerycha i wpadł w ręce bandytów, którzy go obrabowali, poranili i odeszli, zostawiając na pół umarłego.
31 And by chance a certain priest came down that way: and seeing him, passed by on the other side.
A przypadkiem szedł tą drogą pewien kapłan; zobaczył go i ominął.
32 And likewise also a Levite, being at the place, coming and seeing, passed by on the other side.
Podobnie i Lewita, gdy dotarł na to miejsce, podszedł, zobaczył [go] i ominął.
33 And a certain Samaritan, on a journey, came near him: and seeing, had compassion on him,
Lecz pewien Samarytanin, będąc w podróży, zbliżył się do niego. A gdy go zobaczył, ulitował się nad nim.
34 and having come to him, he bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine: and having mounted him on his own beast, carried him to a tavern, and cared for him.
A podszedłszy, opatrzył mu rany, zalewając [je] oliwą i winem; potem wsadził go na swoje zwierzę, zawiózł do gospody i opiekował się nim.
35 And on the morrow, taking out two denaria, gave them to the host, and said, Care for him; and whatsoever you expend in addition, on my return, I will pay you.
A nazajutrz, odjeżdżając, wyjął dwa grosze, dał gospodarzowi i powiedział: Opiekuj się nim, a wszystko, co wydasz ponad to, oddam ci, gdy wrócę.
36 Which one of these three seems to you to have been the neighbor of him who fell among the thieves?
Który z tych trzech, twoim zdaniem, był bliźnim tego, który wpadł w ręce bandytów?
37 And he said, The one having done mercy with him. And Jesus said to him, Go, thou, and do likewise.
A on odpowiedział: Ten, który okazał mu miłosierdzie. Wtedy Jezus mu powiedział: Idź i ty czyń podobnie.
38 And it came to pass while they were going round, He also came into a certain village: and a certain woman by name Martha received Him into her house.
A gdy szli, wszedł do jednej wsi. Tam pewna kobieta, imieniem Marta, przyjęła go do swego domu.
39 And there was a sister to her called Mary, who indeed sitting down at the feet of the Lord, continued to hear his word:
Miała ona siostrę, zwaną Marią, która usiadła u nóg Jezusa i słuchała jego słów.
40 and Martha was very busy about much serving. And standing over Him, she said, Lord, is there no care to thee that my sister has left me to serve alone? then say to her that she must assist me.
Ale Marta krzątała się koło rozmaitych posług, a podszedłszy, powiedziała: Panie, czy nie obchodzi cię, że moja siostra zostawiła mnie samą przy usługiwaniu? Powiedz jej, aby mi pomogła.
41 And the Lord responding said to her, Martha, Martha, you are solicitous and encumbered concerning many things:
A Jezus jej odpowiedział: Marto, Marto, troszczysz się i martwisz o wiele spraw;
42 but there is need of one thing: for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken from her.
Ale jedno jest potrzebne. Maria wybrała dobrą cząstkę, która nie będzie jej odebrana.
