< John 2 >
1 On the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
Eso aduna aligili, Ga: ina moilai (Ga: lili sogega) amo ganodini ilia uda lasu hou hamosu. Yesu Ea ame amoga misi esalu.
2 and Jesus and His disciples were invited to the marriage.
Lolo nasu ouligisu dunu da Yesu, Ea ado ba: su dunu, ilima misa: ne sia: i dagoiba: le, ilia misi esalu.
3 And they had no wine, because the wine of the marriage was exhausted. Then the mother of Jesus says to Him, There is no wine.
4 And Jesus says to her, What is that to me and to thee? O woman, my hour is not yet come.
Be Yesu da bu adole i, “Na hawa: hamomu dia abuliba: le adosala: ? Na ilegei eso da hame doaga: i.”
5 His mother says to the servants, Do whatsoever He may say to you.
Yesu Ea: me da hawa: hamosu dunuma amane sia: i, “Ea adosea dilia hamoma!”
6 And there were six waterpots of stone sitting there according to the purification of the Jews, containing about two or three firkins. Jesus says to them,
Yu dunu ilia lobo dodofesu hou sema bagade dialu.
7 Fill the waterpots with water. They filled them to the brim.
Yesu da hawa: hamosu dunu ilima amane sia: i, “Amo ofodo gafeyale gala amoga hano sogasalawane, nabama!” Amalalu, ilia hano sogasalawane, ofodo da nabaidafa ba: i.
8 And He says to them, Now draw out and carry to the chief ruler of the feast,
Amalalu, Yesu da ilima amane adole i, “Defea! Wali amo ofodoga hano dili, gaguli asili, lolo Nasu aowasu dunuma ima.” Ilia da Ea sia: i defele hamoi.
9 and they brought it to him. And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water, having been made wine, and did not know whence it is (but the servants having drawn the water knew), the ruler calls the groom,
10 and says to him, Every man first sets forth the good wine; and when they have drunk freely, the inferior: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
Be dia hou da hisu.
11 Jesus did this, the beginning of miracles, in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed on Him.
Ga: ina moilai, Ga: lili soge ganodini, amoga Yesu da amo degabo gasa bagade musa: hame ba: su hou hamoi dagoi.
12 After this He and His mother, and His brothers and His disciples went down into Capernaum, and abode there not many days.
Amohaga fa: no, Yesu, Ea ame, Ea eya, amola Ea ado ba: su dunu, eso bagahame oualigimusa: , Gabena: iame moilaiga asi.
13 And the passover of the Jews were nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And He found in the temple those selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting:
Debolo Diasu ganodini, E da dunu ilia bulamagau, sibi, amola musuni bidi lalebe ba: i. Eno dunu ilia fafai amoga fili, muni afadenene iasu hou hamonanebe ba: i.
15 and having made a scourge of cords, He cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the money of the exchangers, and over-turned the tables.
Amalalu, Yesu da efega fegasu hamone, ohe fi, bulamagau, amola sibi huluane gadili sefasi. E da muni bidi lasu dunu ilia fafai delegili fasili, ilia muni fage huluane gugudili fasi.
16 And He said to those selling doves; Take these things hence, make not the house of my Father a house of merchandise.
Yolesima!”
17 And His disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thy house doth eat me up.
18 Then the Jews responded and said to Him, What sign do you show us, because you do these things?
19 Jesus responded and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will rear it up.
20 Then the Jews said, Forty and six years was this temple being built, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Ilia da fofogadigili amane sia: i, “Ola! Musa: dunu ilia ode 46 agoanega amo diasu gagui galu.
21 But He spoke concerning the temple of His body.
Be Yesu da Debolo Diasu Ea hou hame olelei. E da Ea da: i hodo da diasu agoane sia: i.
22 Then when He arose from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said these things, and believed the Scripture and words which Jesus spoke.
23 And when He was in Jerusalem at the feast, during the passover, many believed on His name, seeing His miracles which He was doing;
Yesu da Baligisu Lolo Nasu amoha Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega esaloba, dunu bagohame Ea gasa bagade dawa: digima: ne olelesu ba: beba: le, Ea hou dafawaneyale dawa: i.
24 and Jesus did not intrust Himself to them because He knows all men,
Be Yesu da osobo bagade dunu ilia hou huluane dawa: beba: le, ilia lalegagui hou dafawaneyale hame dawa: i.
25 and because He had no need that any one should witness concerning man; because He was knowing what was in man.
Eno dunu da osobo bagade dunu ilia hou Ema olelemu da hamedeidafa. Bai Hisu, enoga mae oleleiwane, liligi huluane osobo bagade dunu ilia dogo ganodini dialebe, dawa: i galu.
