< Hebrews 4 >
1 Then let us fear, lest at some time, the promise to enter into his rest having been left, some of you may appear to have come short.
Vjak, Pwknvyarnv ngonua milvvnamgo jiduku ngonua ninyigv doonu vla minkunam anga paamu dukubv vla. Vbvrikunamv, klai ngonu hinlakaala rilajuka, nonugv lokv yvv akonvka hoogv milv kunam doonu vnam anga paama nvgoka kaama dubv.
2 For we truly have had the gospel preached unto us, as they did also: but the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith to those hearing.
Bunugv rinam apiabv, ngonuka Alvnv Yunying nga tvvpv kunv. Bunu doin ha tvvtoku, vbvritola hv bunua oguguka anyung kaama, ogulvgavbolo vdwlo bunu um tvvtokudw, bunu mvngjwng gv lvkobv torwk simato.
3 For we who have believed, do enter into rest: as he has said, As I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest: the works truly having been from the foundations of the world.
Vbvrikunamv ngonu yvvbunudw mvngjwng dukunv, Pwknvyarnv gv milv kunam doonu nga paadu kunv. So si ninyigv vbv minambv ridu, “Ngo haachila okv milvnam go mintoku: ‘Ngoogv bunua doonu modubv mooku jinamlo bunu vdwloka aalamare!’” Nw gv nyiamooku ha pwklinyarlin rilokv ninyigv kudungkua nga rime ropv tvlaka nw sum mintoku.
4 For he somewhere has spoken thus in reference to the seventh day, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.
Darwknv kitap gv kvgonvlo so si alu kanw nvnvgv lvkwng nga mindu: “Alu kanw nvnvlo Pwknvyarnv ninyigv kudungkua mvnwngnga riku mabv doonu toku.”
5 And in this again he has said, They shall not enter into my rest.
Lvkodv so gv gaam akin sum mindvto: “Ngoogv bunua doonu modubv jinam mookulo bunu vdwloka aanyumare.”
6 Then since it remains that some do enter into it, and those formerly having had the gospel preached unto them did not enter in on account of unbelief,
Yvv bunu Alvnv Yunying nga tvvchonv vdwv ho doonu nama paamato, ogulvgavbolo bunu mvngjwng mato. Vbvrikunamv hokaka kvvbi vdwa um paamu namvka doodu.
7 again he appoints a certain day, saying in David, as has previously been said, This day, after so long a time; If you may hear his voice this day, harden not your hearts.
So si Pwknvyarnv kvvbi alu yago mvpv pvku, so si “silu” vnammv si jvjv ngv. Achialvnv anying gv kochinglo nw Dabid gvlokv mintoku Darwknv kitaplo sum lvkpvdoku: “Silu nonu Pwknvyarnv gv vlv nga tvvpa pvbolo, vlwnghapok bv riyoka.”
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not speak concerning another day after these things.
Josua Pwknvyarnv gv milv kunam doonu vnama nyi vdwa jiro nvgoilo, Pwknvyarnv koching soka kvvbi alu gv lvkwngbv mima dvnvpvi.
9 Therefore there is a sabbatism left for the people of God.
Pwknvyarnv alu kanw nvnvlo doonu toku vkv aingbv so si Pwknvyarnv gv nyi vdwgv lvgabv doonu go doobwng dunv.
10 For the one having entered into his rest has ceased from his works, as God did from his own.
Yvv bunu Pwknvyarnv gv milv kunam doonu ha naarwksipv kunv ninyigv doonunam aingbv bunugv kudungkua lokv doonu nyadu kunv.
11 Therefore let us hasten to enter into that rest, lest some one may fall by the same example of unbelief.
Vbvrikunamv, klai ngonu ngonugv lvgvlvma lokv ho gv doonu nama naarwksinam lvgabv rikwlaju, vkvlvgavbolo bunugv mvngjwng manam lokv naarwk sinyu mato vkv aingbv ngonu gvlo yvv akonvka naarwk sinyu manamgo kaama dubv.
12 For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing unto the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and a quick discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Pwknvyarnv gv gamchar hv turnv okv kudungkua ridu, Riokse tagotaksak bv arik nvngaka rippu yanv. Si yalu gvla dow gv gvvkiap sikua, loobung gvla lochin gv geekiap sikua peepwk nyuladu. Si haapok gv mvngjimvngro la mvngnam ha jwngkadaka dunv.
13 And no creature is hidden in his presence: but all things are naked and have been laid open to the eyes of him to whom the word is unto us.
Pwknvyarnvnyi kaapa moma dubv ogugoka vvsivrum sego yikungyira kaama; pwknamyarnam mvnwngngv ninyigv nyik kaagia lo kaadatara dubv ridunv. Okv ngonu alu gunyi ngonu atuv turla singrilo ogugo ripvdopv kudw ho mvnwngnga sapkumla ninyia kaatam dukubv rirung reku.
14 Therefore having a great high priest, having entered into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the testimony.
Vbvrikunamv klai ngonu ngonugv mvngjwng nama haatin yayabv rilaju. Ogulvgavbolo ngonu Kaiyachoknv Butvyachok go doodu, nw Jisu Pwknvyarnv gv Kuunyilo ngv, nw Pwknvyarnv gv dooku nvchilo vnglwkroku.
15 For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched with our infirmities; but one having been tempted as to all things like unto us, apart from sin.
Ngonugv nyibu Butvyachok angv ngonugv lvvku marinyi aya mvngpa manyunv gubv rima. Vbvmabvdv ngonua rinam apiabv ngonugv Butvyachoknyi lamtv mvnwnglo pokayarka toku, vbvritola nw rimur go rimato.
16 Therefore let us draw nigh with confidence to a throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace in every opportune need.
Vbvrikunamv, klvi ngonu mvngjwngjwngrw laju, okv Pwknvyarnv gv doginglo aanwk laju, ogolo aya doodudw. Hoka ngonu aya nga naarwk sire okv vdwlo dinchikochi ridw ngonua ridurdubv anyuaya nga paayare.
