< Ephesians 5 >

1 Therefore be ye imitators of God, as beloved children;
Nonu Pwknvyarnv gv umvuu bv ridula, ninyigv aingbv bv rirungdubv gwngtoka.
2 and walk about in divine love, as Christ also loved you, and gave himself for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweet savor.
Nonugv turnam lo pakmi sidula saktung sitoka, vbv ngonua kristo gv paknam aingchingbv okv vbv nampu nvgo ngonu lvgabv jinam aingchingbv jitola okv vbv Pwknvyarnvnyi mvngpu dubv erin lwksula jinam aingbv bv ritolaka.
3 But all fornication, and uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be named among you, as it becomes saints;
Nonu Pwknvyarnv gv nyi bv ridula, alvmanv yomurchomur minsu dubv vmalo gompwng dubv vmalo alvmabv kaadubv rinam nonugv aralo vbv rirung yoka.
4 and indecorum, or foolish talking, or indecent jesting, which is not becoming, but rather the giving of thanks:
So gaam sum kasingkanyak nvbv okv nyiposoyobv okv tvvlwkkaalwk madubv japyoka. Vbvsvnga, vbv mintoka nam vdwgo umbonyikv mvngdunv vla hartv gvyala ritoka.
5 for you are knowing this, that no fornicator, or unclean person, or covetous, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Nonu chirung dunvpv yvvdw yomurchomurnv okv darwkmanv okv kabiotarinv (vv murti kumnam aingbv ridunv) vdwv Pwknvyarnv gv okv Kristo gv karv lo ogu aba baagoka yvvka paamare.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words: for through these the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience.
Nonu gvlo nyiposoyo gaambv rinv vkvnv yvvnyika kuplwk koyoka; ogulvgavbolo vkvnv oguogu mvvgvrugvla riku lo oogv ninyigv gaam am tvvma nvgv aolo Pwknvyarnv gv haachi vv aare.
7 Therefore be not partakers along with them.
Vkvlvgabv vbvrinv nyi vdwgv lvkobv ogubvrijeka lvkingobv riyoka.
8 For at one time ye were darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord: walk about as children of the light,
Nonuno awv kanv lo rinvgobv rito, vbvrijvka nonu Ahtu gv nyi gobv rila riduku, nonu loung lo ridukunv. Vkvlvgabv nonu rinamdaknam am oogv loung lo rinv nyi vrung vdubv ritokuka.
9 (for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
Holvgavbolo loung ngv nvgwng mvnwng gv alvnv, darwkchonjornv okv jvjv nga nyitv rungbv nyingkamla laalwk dunv.
10 proving what is acceptable to the Lord;
Ahtunyi mvngpu modubv ogu risvdw um nonu chindu bv gwngtoka.
11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather indeed convict them.
Ho nyi vdwgv oguogu arv kaamanv rinam um lvkobv rimingdakming gvyoka, ho gv oguogu vv kanvparam lokv la, vbvmayabv, bunua loung lo laalin yatoka. (
12 For it is disgraceful even to speak of those things which are done by them in concealment:
Bunugv risi la ara lokv rinam kudungkua lvkwng lo milin namv maatar alvbv hinyinghiru namv.)
13 but all things being convicted by the light are made manifest; for everything made manifest is light.
Okv vdwlo anyung kaamanv mvnwng nga lounglo laalin rikudw, vbvrikubolo bunugv jvjvnv ridungsingdung am rvbwngching bv kaapa lareku;
14 Therefore he says, Awake, thou sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon thee.
Holvgabv ogumvnwng nga rvbwngching bv kaatam kubolo loung bv riduku. Vkvlvgabv si vbv minto “Godung tvkuka, yupnv vdwv, okv sinam lokv turkur tvkuka. Okv Kristo nonua loung am ungkare.”
15 Therefore see how you walk about circumspectly, not as unwise, but wise;
Vkvlvgabv nonu oguaingbv doosvdaksv vdw hinsukasu tvvlaka. Chimapamunv nyi aingbv doyodakyoka, vbvritola chinvpanv aingbv dooladakla ka.
16 buying in the opportunity, because the days are evil.
Nonu alvnv dw paanam mvnwng nga um alvnvgobv rinv nvto laka ogulvgavbolo, soogv alu si alvmanv bv riduku.
17 Therefore be not unwise, but understand whatsoever is the will of the Lord.
Vbvrikunamv, pvcha nvbv riyoka, vbvritola Pwknvyarnv ogugo nam ridubv mvngdudw vbvching mala rijidubv gwngto laka.
18 Be not drunk with wine, in which there is riot, but be ye filled with the Spirit;
Opo tvngyoka, oogv nam simungoomu mvngchik jinvnga; vbvmayabv, Pwknvyarnv gv darwknv dow am pwlwk kootolaka.
19 speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
Ajin anyingnga hartvnam gaam lokv, mirimimpak lokv, minji mingkiuk nam lokv okv darwknv mirimimpak lo gaana gaala; nonugv haapok lokv hartv la Ahtunyi kumnam gaam lokv okv kumnam mirimimpak lokv gaagv laka.
20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
Ngonu Ahtu Jisu Kristo gv amin lokv, Pwknvyarnv Abunyi ogumvnwng lo umbonyikv vbvlaka.
21 being submissive to one another in the fear of Christ.
Kristonyi mvngdvnam lvgabv nonyi anyiv tulwk minsulaka.
22 Wives, be submissive to your own husbands, as to the Lord,
Nywng vdwv, atubogv nyilua Ahtunyi tulwk sinam aingbv tulwk sutoka.
23 because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is also the head of the church, being himself the saviour of the body.
Vkvlvgavbolo Kristo gv gvrja gv aolo rigv ladubv atubv tujupkunam aingbv nyilo vdwvka nywng gv ao lo rigv ladubv atubv tujupkunamv; okv Kristo ninyi atubongv gvrja gv ringnvbaanv ngv, ninyigv awv.
24 But as the church is submissive to Christ, so also let the wives be to their husbands in everything.
Holvgabv nywng ngv atubogv ogumvnwng nga bunugv nyilu gv arwng lo tulwk sila ritoka oguaingbv gvrja ngv Kristo gv arwng lo tulwk sila ridudw.
25 Husbands, love your wives with divine love, as Christ also loved the church with divine love, and gave himself for her;
Nyilu vdwv, nonugv nywng vdwa alvbv paktoka oguaingbv Kristo gvrja nga pakdudw okv ninyigv turnam am jilwk tokudw.
26 in order that he might sanctify her, having purified her by the washing of water through the word,
Hv sum isi lokv darwk dubv harkak choto kula hokoching bv ninyigv gaam lokv Pwknvyarnv gvlo gvrja nga tulwk jidubv vla ritoku,
27 in order that he might present to himself the glorious church, having not spot or wrinkle or any of such things; but that she might be holy and blameless.
Hv atubongv gvrja ngam svbv rinamv kaapu—darwk okv gungnying kaama, ungnvtarv kaama okv tikumtilum nam kaama okv oguguka kaavk svgo kaama tvla tulwk sidubv vla rito.
28 So the husbands ought to love their own wives with divine love as their own bodies. The one loving his own wife is loving himself:
Nyi vdwv atugv adwnayak am atubongv oguaingbv paksu dudw vbvching atugv nywng am paksu rungtoka. Yvvnyiv atugv nywng am pakdudw vv atubonga ka paksudu. (
29 for no one ever yet hated his own flesh; but he nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ also the church;
Yvvka ngonu atubogv adwnayak am kaanwng mabv rimadu. Vbvmayabv, Kristo gv gvrja ngam rinam aingchingbv bunua ngonu jichahocha sula okv bunua ringchamriai sula riyadu;
30 because we are members of his body:
holvgavbolo ngonu ninyigv adwn lo atung gunvbv ridunv.)
31 on account of this a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife: and they two shall be one flesh.
Darwknv kitap lo vbv mindu, “Vkvlvgabv si mindu nyilo ngv ninyigv abu okv anv nga kayu tvkula okv ninyigv nywng gv lvkobv rila, anyiv akin gobv ridukunv.”
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak in reference to Christ and the church.
Soogv Darwknv Kitap lo ungrwng rungnv chinchi nyomanam jvjv nga kaatam jilindu, vbvritola sum ngo chindu si Kristo okv gvrja lvgabv mindunv.
33 Moreover you also each one thus love his own wife with divine love as himself; and that the wife also reverence the husband.
Vbvritola si nonuaka mindunv: nyilu dvdv ngv atugv aw am paksu aingbv atugv nywng aka pakto laka, okv nywng vdwvka ninyigv nyilu nga mvngdv tvlaka.
