< Acts 21 >

1 And when it came to pass, that we having been farewelled by them, embarked, sailing straight forward, we arrived at Cos, and on the following day to Rhodes, and thence to Patara.
ཏཻ ཪྻིསྲྀཥྚཱཿ སནྟོ ཝཡཾ པོཏཾ བཱཧཡིཏྭཱ ཨྲྀཛུམཱརྒེཎ ཀོཥམ྄ ཨུཔདྭཱིཔམ྄ ཨཱགཏྱ པརེ྅ཧནི རོདིཡོཔདྭཱིཔམ྄ ཨཱགཙྪཱམ ཏཏསྟསྨཱཏ྄ པཱཏཱརཱཡཱམ྄ ཨུཔཱཏིཥྛཱམ།
2 And finding a ship sailing into Phoenicia, having embarked, we moved out.
ཏཏྲ ཕཻནཱིཀིཡཱདེཤགཱམིནམ྄ པོཏམེཀཾ པྲཱཔྱ ཏམཱརུཧྱ གཏཝནྟཿ།
3 And coming in sight of Cyprus, and leaving it on the left, we sailed to Syria, and disembarked at Tyre: for there the ship was delivering her cargo.
ཀུཔྲོཔདྭཱིཔཾ དྲྀཥྚྭཱ ཏཾ སཝྱདིཤི སྠཱཔཡིཏྭཱ སུརིཡཱདེཤཾ གཏྭཱ པོཏསྠདྲཝྱཱཎྱཝརོཧཡིཏུཾ སོརནགརེ ལཱགིཏཝནྟཿ།
4 And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who continued to say to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go to Jerusalem.
ཏཏྲ ཤིཥྱགཎསྱ སཱཀྵཱཏྐརཎཱཡ ཝཡཾ ཏཏྲ སཔྟདིནཱནི སྠིཏཝནྟཿ པཤྩཱཏྟེ པཝིཏྲེཎཱཏྨནཱ པཽལཾ ཝྱཱཧརན྄ ཏྭཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམྣགརཾ མཱ གམཿ།
5 And when it came to pass that we refitted during those days, having come out, we departed, all sending us forth, along with the women and children, out of the city: and putting down the knees on the shore, having prayed,
ཏཏསྟེཥུ སཔྟསུ དིནེཥུ ཡཱཔིཏེཥུ སཏྶུ ཝཡཾ ཏསྨཱཏ྄ སྠཱནཱཏ྄ ནིཛཝརྟྨནཱ གཏཝནྟཿ, ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ཏེ སབཱལཝྲྀདྡྷཝནིཏཱ ཨསྨཱབྷིཿ སཧ ནགརསྱ པརིསརཔཪྻྱནྟམ྄ ཨཱགཏཱཿ པཤྩཱདྭཡཾ ཛལདྷིཏཊེ ཛཱནུཔཱཏཾ པྲཱརྠཡཱམཧི།
6 we farewelled one another, and went up into the ship; and they returned to their own homes.
ཏཏཿ པརསྤརཾ ཝིསྲྀཥྚཱཿ སནྟོ ཝཡཾ པོཏཾ གཏཱསྟེ ཏུ སྭསྭགྲྀཧཾ པྲཏྱཱགཏཝནྟཿ།
7 And we continuing our voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais, and having saluted the brethren, we remained with them one day.
ཝཡཾ སོརནགརཱཏ྄ ནཱཝཱ པྲསྠཱཡ ཏལིམཱཡིནགརམ྄ ཨུཔཱཏིཥྛཱམ ཏཏྲཱསྨཱཀཾ སམུདྲཱིཡམཱརྒསྱཱནྟོ྅བྷཝཏ྄ ཏཏྲ བྷྲཱཏྲྀགཎཾ ནམསྐྲྀཏྱ དིནམེཀཾ ཏཻཿ སཱརྡྡྷམ྄ ཨུཥཏཝནྟཿ།
8 And on the following day, having come out, we came into Caesarea: and having entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, being one of the seven, we abode with him.
པརེ ྅ཧནི པཽལསྟསྱ སངྒིནོ ཝཡཉྩ པྲཏིཥྛམཱནཱཿ ཀཻསརིཡཱནགརམ྄ ཨཱགཏྱ སུསཾཝཱདཔྲཙཱརཀཱནཱཾ སཔྟཛནཱནཱཾ ཕིལིཔནཱམྣ ཨེཀསྱ གྲྀཧཾ པྲཝིཤྱཱཝཏིཥྛཱམ།
9 And there were to him four virgin daughters, prophesying.
ཏསྱ ཙཏསྲོ དུཧིཏརོ྅ནཱུཌྷཱ བྷཝིཥྱདྭཱདིནྱ ཨཱསན྄།
10 And we remaining many days, a certain prophet, by name Agabus, came down from Judea;
ཏཏྲཱསྨཱསུ བཧུདིནཱནི པྲོཥིཏེཥུ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡདེཤཱད྄ ཨཱགཏྱཱགཱབནཱམཱ བྷཝིཥྱདྭཱདཱི སམུཔསྠིཏཝཱན྄།
11 and having come to us, and taking the girdle of Paul, binding his own feet and hands, said, These things says the Holy Ghost, The man whose girdle this is, will the Jews in Jerusalem bind and deliver into the hands of the Gentiles.
སོསྨཱཀཾ སམཱིཔམེཏྱ པཽལསྱ ཀཊིབནྡྷནཾ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ནིཛཧསྟཱཔཱདཱན྄ བདྡྷྭཱ བྷཱཥིཏཝཱན྄ ཡསྱེདཾ ཀཊིབནྡྷནཾ ཏཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡལོཀཱ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམནགར ཨིཏྠཾ བདྡྷྭཱ བྷིནྣདེཤཱིཡཱནཱཾ ཀརེཥུ སམརྤཡིཥྱནྟཱིཏི ཝཱཀྱཾ པཝིཏྲ ཨཱཏྨཱ ཀཐཡཏི།
12 And when we heard these words, both we, and the citizens, exhorted him not to go up to Jerusalem.
ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤཱིཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཤྲུཏྭཱ ཝཡཾ ཏནྣགརཝཱསིནོ བྷྲཱཏརཤྩ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམཾ ན ཡཱཏུཾ པཽལཾ ཝྱནཡཱམཧི;
13 Then Paul responded and said, What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not only to be bound, but to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
ཀིནྟུ ས པྲཏྱཱཝཱདཱིཏ྄, ཡཱུཡཾ ཀིཾ ཀུརུཐ? ཀིཾ ཀྲནྡནེན མམཱནྟཿཀརཎཾ ཝིདཱིརྞཾ ཀརིཥྱཐ? པྲབྷོ ཪྻཱིཤོ རྣཱམྣོ ནིམིཏྟཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམི བདྡྷོ བྷཝིཏུཾ ཀེཝལ ཏནྣ པྲཱཎཱན྄ དཱཏུམཔི སསཛྫོསྨི།
14 And he not being persuaded, we acquiesced, saying, Let the will of the Lord be done.
ཏེནཱསྨཱཀཾ ཀཐཱཡཱམ྄ ཨགྲྀཧཱིཏཱཡཱམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ ཡཐེཙྪཱ ཏཐཻཝ བྷཝཏྭིཏྱུཀྟྭཱ ཝཡཾ ནིརསྱཱམ།
15 And after those days, taking our luggage, we went up to Jerusalem:
པརེ྅ཧནི པཱཐེཡདྲཝྱཱཎི གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམཾ པྲཏི ཡཱཏྲཱམ྄ ཨཀུརྨྨ།
16 and some of the disciples from Caesarea went along with us, bringing Mnason a certain Cyprian, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.
ཏཏཿ ཀཻསརིཡཱནགརནིཝཱསིནཿ ཀཏིཔཡཱཿ ཤིཥྱཱ ཨསྨཱབྷིཿ སཱརྡྡྷམ྄ ཨིཏྭཱ ཀྲྀཔྲཱིཡེན མྣཱསནྣཱམྣཱ ཡེན པྲཱཙཱིནཤིཥྱེན སཱརྡྡྷམ྄ ཨསྨཱབྷི ཪྻསྟཝྱཾ ཏསྱ སམཱིཔམ྄ ཨསྨཱན྄ ནཱིཏཝནྟཿ།
17 And we being in Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
ཨསྨཱསུ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམྱུཔསྠིཏེཥུ ཏཏྲསྠབྷྲཱཏྲྀགཎོ྅སྨཱན྄ ཨཱཧླཱདེན གྲྀཧཱིཏཝཱན྄།
18 And on the following day, Paul goes with us to James; and all the elders assembled.
པརསྨིན྄ དིཝསེ པཽལེ྅སྨཱབྷིཿ སཧ ཡཱཀཱུབོ གྲྀཧཾ པྲཝིཥྚེ ལོཀཔྲཱཙཱིནཱཿ སཪྻྭེ ཏཏྲ པརིཥདི སཾསྠིཏཱཿ།
19 And having saluted them, he related each one of those things which God did among the Gentiles through his ministry.
ཨནནྟརཾ ས ཏཱན྄ ནཏྭཱ སྭཱིཡཔྲཙཱརཎེན བྷིནྣདེཤཱིཡཱན྄ པྲཏཱིཤྭརོ ཡཱནི ཀརྨྨཱཎི སཱདྷིཏཝཱན྄ ཏདཱིཡཱཾ ཀཐཱམ྄ ཨནུཀྲམཱཏ྄ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄།
20 And they hearing, continued to glorify God, and said to him, You see, brother, how many myriads there are of those who believe; and they are all zealots of the law:
ཨིཏི ཤྲུཏྭཱ ཏེ པྲབྷུཾ དྷནྱཾ པྲོཙྱ ཝཱཀྱམིདམ྄ ཨབྷཱཥནྟ, ཧེ བྷྲཱཏ ཪྻིཧཱུདཱིཡཱནཱཾ མདྷྱེ བཧུསཧསྲཱཎི ལོཀཱ ཝིཤྭཱསིན ཨཱསཏེ ཀིནྟུ ཏེ སཪྻྭེ ཝྱཝསྠཱམཏཱཙཱརིཎ ཨེཏཏ྄ པྲཏྱཀྵཾ པཤྱསི།
21 and they have been informed concerning thee, that thou art teaching all the Jews who are among the Gentiles apostasy from Moses, saying that they are not to circumcise their children, nor to walk according to the customs.
ཤིཤཱུནཱཾ ཏྭཀྪེདནཱདྱཱཙརཎཾ པྲཏིཥིདྷྱ ཏྭཾ བྷིནྣདེཤནིཝཱསིནོ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡལོཀཱན྄ མཱུསཱཝཱཀྱམ྄ ཨཤྲདྡྷཱཏུམ྄ ཨུཔདིཤསཱིཏི ཏཻཿ ཤྲུཏམསྟི།
22 Then what is it? it is altogether necessary that the multitude come together: for they will hear that you have come.
ཏྭམཏྲཱགཏོསཱིཏི ཝཱརྟྟཱཾ སམཱཀརྞྱ ཛནནིཝཧོ མིལིཏྭཱཝཤྱམེཝཱགམིཥྱཏི; ཨཏཨེཝ ཀིཾ ཀརཎཱིཡམ྄? ཨཏྲ ཝཡཾ མནྟྲཡིཏྭཱ སམུཔཱཡཾ ཏྭཱཾ ཝདཱམསྟཾ ཏྭམཱཙར།
23 Therefore do this which we tell thee. There are four men among us having a vow upon them;
ཝྲཏཾ ཀརྟྟུཾ ཀྲྀཏསངྐལྤཱ ཡེ྅སྨཱཾཀ ཙཏྭཱརོ མཱནཝཱཿ སནྟི
24 taking them, be purified along with them, and be at charges for them, that they may shave their head: and all shall know that there is nothing of those things they have been informed concerning thee; but that thyself art walking, keeping the law.
ཏཱན྄ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཏཻཿ སཧིཏཿ སྭཾ ཤུཙིཾ ཀུརུ ཏཐཱ ཏེཥཱཾ ཤིརོམུཎྜནེ ཡོ ཝྱཡོ བྷཝཏི ཏཾ ཏྭཾ དེཧི། ཏཐཱ ཀྲྀཏེ ཏྭདཱིཡཱཙཱརེ ཡཱ ཛནཤྲུཏི རྫཱཡཏེ སཱལཱིཀཱ ཀིནྟུ ཏྭཾ ཝིདྷིཾ པཱལཡན྄ ཝྱཝསྠཱནུསཱརེཎེཝཱཙརསཱིཏི ཏེ བྷོཏྶནྟེ།
25 But concerning the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent to them, adjudicating that they keep themselves from idolatry, and blood, and strangulation, and fornication.
བྷིནྣདེཤཱིཡཱནཱཾ ཝིཤྭཱསིལོཀཱནཱཾ ནིཀཊེ ཝཡཾ པཏྲཾ ལིཁིཏྭེཏྠཾ སྠིརཱིཀྲྀཏཝནྟཿ, དེཝཔྲསཱདབྷོཛནཾ རཀྟཾ གལཔཱིཌནམཱརིཏཔྲཱཎིབྷོཛནཾ ཝྱབྷིཙཱརཤྩཻཏེབྷྱཿ སྭརཀྵཎཝྱཏིརེཀེཎ ཏེཥཱམནྱཝིདྷིཔཱལནཾ ཀརཎཱིཡཾ ན།
26 Then Paul, having taken the men, the next day being purified along with them, enters into the temple, proclaiming the fulfillment of the days of purification, until an offering may be made for each one of them.
ཏཏཿ པཽལསྟཱན྄ མཱནུཥཱནཱདཱཡ པརསྨིན྄ དིཝསེ ཏཻཿ སཧ ཤུཙི རྦྷཱུཏྭཱ མནྡིརཾ གཏྭཱ ཤཽཙཀརྨྨཎོ དིནེཥུ སམྤཱུརྞེཥུ ཏེཥཱམ྄ ཨེཀཻཀཱརྠཾ ནཻཝེདྱཱདྱུཏྶརྒོ བྷཝིཥྱཏཱིཏི ཛྙཱཔིཏཝཱན྄།
27 And when the seven days were about to have an end, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole multitude, and laid hands on him, crying out,
ཏེཥུ སཔྟསུ དིནེཥུ སམཱཔྟཀལྤེཥུ ཨཱཤིཡཱདེཤནིཝཱསིནོ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱསྟཾ མདྷྱེམནྡིརཾ ཝིལོཀྱ ཛནནིཝཧསྱ མནཿསུ ཀུཔྲཝྲྀཏྟིཾ ཛནཡིཏྭཱ ཏཾ དྷྲྀཏྭཱ
28 Israelitish men, help: this is the man, teaching all everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place, and he has even yet led Greeks into the temple, and polluted this holy place.
པྲོཙྩཻཿ པྲཱཝོཙན྄, ཧེ ཨིསྲཱཡེལློཀཱཿ སཪྻྭེ སཱཧཱཡྻཾ ཀུརུཏ། ཡོ མནུཛ ཨེཏེཥཱཾ ལོཀཱནཱཾ མཱུསཱཝྱཝསྠཱཡཱ ཨེཏསྱ སྠཱནསྱཱཔི ཝིཔརཱིཏཾ སཪྻྭཏྲ སཪྻྭཱན྄ ཤིཀྵཡཏི ས ཨེཥཿ; ཝིཤེཥཏཿ ས བྷིནྣདེཤཱིཡལོཀཱན྄ མནྡིརམ྄ ཨཱནཱིཡ པཝིཏྲསྠཱནམེཏད྄ ཨཔཝིཏྲམཀརོཏ྄།
29 For they saw Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with him, whom they supposed that Paul led into the temple.
པཱུཪྻྭཾ ཏེ མདྷྱེནགརམ྄ ཨིཕིཥནགརཱིཡཾ ཏྲཕིམཾ པཽལེན སཧིཏཾ དྲྀཥྚཝནྟ ཨེཏསྨཱཏ྄ པཽལསྟཾ མནྡིརམདྷྱམ྄ ཨཱནཡད྄ ཨིཏྱནྭམིམཏ།
30 And the whole city was excited, and there was a commotion of the people: and taking Paul, they dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were closed.
ཨཏཨེཝ སཪྻྭསྨིན྄ ནགརེ ཀལཧོཏྤནྣཏྭཱཏ྄ དྷཱཝནྟོ ལོཀཱ ཨཱགཏྱ པཽལཾ དྷྲྀཏྭཱ མནྡིརསྱ བཧིརཱཀྲྀཥྱཱནཡན྄ ཏཏྐྵཎཱད྄ དྭཱརཱཎི སཪྻྭཱཎི ཙ རུདྡྷཱནི།
31 And seeking to kill him, the report went up to the chiliarch of the band, that all Jerusalem is in commotion;
ཏེཥུ ཏཾ ཧནྟུམུདྱཏེཥུ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམྣགརེ མཧཱནུཔདྲཝོ ཛཱཏ ཨིཏི ཝཱརྟྟཱཡཱཾ སཧསྲསེནཱཔཏེཿ ཀརྞགོཙརཱིབྷཱུཏཱཡཱཾ སཏྱཱཾ ས ཏཏྐྵཎཱཏ྄ སཻནྱཱནི སེནཱཔཏིགཎཉྩ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཛཝེནཱགཏཝཱན྄།
32 who immediately, taking soldiers and centurions, ran to them: and they, seeing the chiliarch and the soldiers, ceased beating Paul.
ཏཏོ ལོཀཱཿ སེནཱགཎེན སཧ སཧསྲསེནཱཔཏིམ྄ ཨཱགཙྪནྟཾ དྲྀཥྚྭཱ པཽལཏཱཌནཱཏོ ནྱཝརྟྟནྟ།
33 Then the chiliarch, having come nigh, took Paul, and commanded that he should be bound with two chains; and was making inquiry who he might be, and what he had done.
ས སཧསྲསེནཱཔཏིཿ སནྣིདྷཱཝཱགམྱ པཽལཾ དྷྲྀཏྭཱ ཤྲྀངྑལདྭཡེན བདྡྷམ྄ ཨཱདིཤྱ ཏཱན྄ པྲྀཥྚཝཱན྄ ཨེཥ ཀཿ? ཀིཾ ཀརྨྨ ཙཱཡཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄?
34 And they continued to cry aloud in the multitude, some one thing, and some another: and he, being unable to know the certainty on account of the uproar, commanded that he should be led into the castle.
ཏཏོ ཛནསམཱུཧསྱ ཀཤྩིད྄ ཨེཀཔྲཀཱརཾ ཀཤྩིད྄ ཨནྱཔྲཀཱརཾ ཝཱཀྱམ྄ ཨརཽཏ྄ ས ཏཏྲ སཏྱཾ ཛྙཱཏུམ྄ ཀལཧཀཱརཎཱད྄ ཨཤཀྟཿ སན྄ ཏཾ དུརྒཾ ནེཏུམ྄ ཨཱཛྙཱཔཡཏ྄།
35 Then when he was on the threshold, it happened that he was carried by the soldiers, on account of the violence of the mob;
ཏེཥུ སོཔཱནསྱོཔརི པྲཱཔྟེཥུ ལོཀཱནཱཾ སཱཧསཀཱརཎཱཏ྄ སེནཱགཎཿ པཽལམུཏྟོལྱ ནཱིཏཝཱན྄།
36 for the multitude of the people were following, crying out, Take him away.
ཏཏཿ སཪྻྭེ ལོཀཱཿ པཤྩཱདྒཱམིནཿ སནྟ ཨེནཾ དུརཱིཀུརུཏེཏི ཝཱཀྱམ྄ ཨུཙྩཻརཝདན྄།
37 And Paul, being about to be led into the castle, says to the chiliarch, Is it lawful for me to say something to thee? And he said, Do you speak Greek?
པཽལསྱ དུརྒཱནཡནསམཡེ ས ཏསྨཻ སཧསྲསེནཱཔཏཡེ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄, བྷཝཏཿ པུརསྟཱཏ྄ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡིཏུཾ ཀིམ྄ ཨནུམནྱཏེ? ས ཏམཔྲྀཙྪཏ྄ ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ ཡཱུནཱནཱིཡཱཾ བྷཱཥཱཾ ཛཱནཱསི?
38 Are you not that Egyptian who before these days rising up and leading away into the desert four hundred men of daggers?
ཡོ མིསརཱིཡོ ཛནཿ པཱུཪྻྭཾ ཝིརོདྷཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཙཏྭཱརི སཧསྲཱཎི གྷཱཏཀཱན྄ སངྒིནཿ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཝིཔིནཾ གཏཝཱན྄ ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ སཨེཝ ན བྷཝསི?
39 But Paul said, I am indeed a Jewish man, a Tarsean, a citizen of Cilicia, no mean city: but, I pray you, permit me to speak to the people.
ཏདཱ པཽལོ྅ཀཐཡཏ྄ ཨཧཾ ཀིལིཀིཡཱདེཤསྱ ཏཱརྵནགརཱིཡོ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡོ, ནཱཧཾ སཱམཱནྱནགརཱིཡོ མཱནཝཿ; ཨཏཨེཝ ཝིནཡེ྅ཧཾ ལཱཀཱནཱཾ སམཀྵཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡིཏུཾ མཱམནུཛཱནཱིཥྭ།
40 And he permitting, Paul, standing on the threshold, beckoned with his hand to the people: and there being great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew tongue, saying:
ཏེནཱནུཛྙཱཏཿ པཽལཿ སོཔཱནོཔརི ཏིཥྛན྄ ཧསྟེནེངྒིཏཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄, ཏསྨཱཏ྄ སཪྻྭེ སུསྠིརཱ ཨབྷཝན྄། ཏདཱ པཽལ ཨིབྲཱིཡབྷཱཥཡཱ ཀཐཡིཏུམ྄ ཨཱརབྷཏ,
