< 3 John 1 >
1 The elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I truly love with divine love.
Upa renga han, Ko moroitak Gaius, ku lungkham tatakpu kôm,
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper concerning all things and be well, as your soul prospers.
Ka mal moroitak, ratha han na dam ti ki riet anghan, neinunngei murdi asadima a lônna taksa han na dam theina rangin ku chubai ngâi.
3 I rejoice exceedingly, the brethren coming and witnessing to thy truth, as thou art walking about in truth.
Khristien champuingei senkhat an juonga, taksônoma no omtit ngâi anghan, chongtaka iem no omtit tih min rila, ka râisân tatak ani.
4 I have no greater joy than this, that I may hear of my children walking about in truth.
Ka nâingei chongtaka an om ti ki rieta ka râisân nêka râisânna lien uol reng dôn mu ung.
5 Beloved, whatsoever faithful deed thou mayest do to the brethren, thou art also dispensing to the strangers,
Ka mal moroitak, khuolmingei anni lâi khomin Khristien champuingei chunga taksônomtakin sin no tho ngâia.
6 who have witnessed to thy divine love before the church: whom you will do well, having sent forth worthily of God.
Hi taka koiindangngei kôm khom nu lungkhamna chungroi an misîr zoi. An khuolchaina mozomtita Pathien a râisân theina rangin rangâihoitakin lei san ngei roh.
7 For the sake of his name they went out, receiving nothing from the Gentiles.
Khrista sinthoa an khuolchaina han iemloingei renga sanna lâk loiin an nin thok sikin.
8 Therefore we ought to receive such, in order that we may be fellow-workers with the truth.
Masikin eini Khristienngeiin, chongtaka sin an thona han ênchelsa theina rangin hi mingei hih ei san ngêt rang ani.
9 I wrote something to the church, but Diotrephes, loving the preeminence over them, does not receive us.
Koiindang kôma lekhamuthuon bongte chu ki mizieka; aniatachu, an ruoipu chang nuom ngâipu Diotrephes han chu ko chong ite lunghâng tho noni.
10 On account of this, if I may come, I will remember his works which he is doing, berating us with wicked speeches: and not content with these, he does not receive the brethren, and he prohibits them wishing to receive them, and casts them out of the church.
Hanchu ku juong tika chu a sintho murdi lunghâng tho ka ta; kin chungroia neinun ichiruoingei a ti ngâi le milak a ril ngâi! Aniatachu maha khom ahunin la riet maka; ei Khristien champuingei an hong khomin mintung ngâi maka, mi mintung rang nuomngei khom a khap ngâi male koiindang renga rujûl pai ngei rang a pût ngâi!
11 Beloved, imitate not the evil, but the good. The one doing good is of God: the one doing evil has not seen God.
Ka mal moroitak, asaloi jûi nônla, asa jûi roh. Tukhom asa sinpu ngei chu Pathien ta an nia; tukhom asaloi sinpu ngei chu Pathien la muloi an ni.
12 To Demetrius it has been testified by all, and by the truth itself: and we also testify: and you know that our testimony is true.
Demetrius hah mitinin asa an ti ngâia; chongtak han amananâkin asa a ti ngâi. Male keini khomin kin thurchi kin bôk sa, male khoimo kin ti hih adik ti ni riet.
13 Having many things to write to you, but I do not wish to write them to you with ink and paper:
Chong tamtak nangni ril rang ko dôn, aniatachu maha pen le pentuiin no kôm miziek nuom mu ung.
14 but I hope to see you immediately, and mouth to mouth we will speak. Peace be unto you. The friends salute you; salute the friends by name.
Nang mu lai rang ka sabeia, hanchu intongin la chong rei. Rathângamin om roh. Na malngei nâmin chibai an hong muthuon. Ei malngei hah an misang zeta chibai mi mûk pe chit roh.
