1 I indeed, beloved, write unto you this second epistle; in which I stir up your pure mind by remembrance:

2 to remember the words which have been spoken hitherto by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour by your apostles:

Tienlâia Dêipu inthieng ngei chongphuong le ei Pumapa le Sanminringpu chongpêk nin tîrtonngei nangni pêk hah nin riet minthar rangin ku nuom.

3 knowing this first, that at the last days mockers will come forth in scoffing, walking according to their own lusts,

Amotontaka, nin riet ngêt rang chu sûn mongnatak ngeia han mi senkhat ngei chu an ringnun hah an ôina jêk mi lân lang an tih. Tusiem nangni thona an ta,

4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for from the day when the fathers fell asleep, all things remain as from the beginning of creation.

male “Juong nôk rangin chong ânkhâm ni mak mo? Ama hah khonmo aom zoi? Kin richibulngei an thi suo zoia, nikhomrese, rammuol insieng phut renga neinuntin ani ngagâiin an la om tita?” la tîng an tih.

5 For they willingly forget this, that the heavens were in the olden time, and the earth standing out of the water and through the water, by the word of God;

Hi chongdikngei hih an riet ngôngin an nôngpai ngâi. Pathien chongpêkin invân le pilchung hih isin ani. Pilchung hih tui renga tui sikin a hong oma,

6 by which the world at that time, being flooded with water, perished:

male tui nanâkin ani, tuisânglienin rammuol muruo hah sietminmang ani.

7 but now the heavens and the earth have been kept according to the same word, being reserved for fire in the day of judgment and the destruction of the ungodly people.

Nikhomrese, atûna invânngei le pilchung aom ngei hi chu meia sietminmang theina rangin Pathien chongpêk nanâka hôi ania. Anni ngei hah pathienboi mingei roijêkna le sietminmangna nikhuoa ranga dar an ni.

8 But let not this one thing be forgotten, beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Hannirese, hi neinun inkhat hih mingil no roi, ka mal moroi ngei! Pathien mitmua chu sûnkhat le kum isângkhat hih ateina om maka; ama rangin chu ân angbang ani.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some people count slackness; but is long-suffering for your sakes, not wishing that any should perish, but all come to repentance.

Mi senkhatngei an mindon anghan Pumapa chu a chongkhâma innu mak. Ânnu niloiin, tute inmang loia, mi murdi an nunsiena renga an hong insîr rang nuomin nangni tieng a tuongdier ani.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements being scorched up will be dissolved, and the earth and the works in it will be burnt up.

Aniatachu Pumapa Nikhuo chu inru angin juong atih. Ha nikhuoa han chu rahang inringtak le invâna neinunngei kângin inmang a ta, pilchung le asûnga neinunngei murdi khom inmangrip atih.

11 Then all these things being dissolved, what kind of people does it behoove you to be in holy deportment and godliness,

Ma neinunngei murdi hah ma anghan sietminmang ani rangin te, kho anga mi mo nin ni rang ani zoi? Nin ringnun hah ânthieng le Pathien kôma pêkruo ani rang ani.

12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements being scorched up are melted?

Pathien Nikhuo nin ngâk atung inrang theina rangin nin theidôr ranak song roi, invânngei akânga sietminmang rang Nikhuo le invâna neinunngei alum sika ajôina rang Nikhuo hah.

13 But, according to his promises, we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwells.

Aniatachu eini chu Pathien chongkhâm anghan invân thar le pilchung thar, asûnga dikna hah ei omna in rang ei ngâk ani.

14 Therefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent to be found spotless and blameless unto him in peace:

Masikin ka mal moroi ngei, ha Nikhuo hah nin ngâk anghan Pathien mitmua inthieng le demnaboia oma, ama leh inngêia om rangin nin theidôr ranak song roi

15 and consider the longsuffering of the Lord's salvation; as our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom which was given unto him has written unto you;

Ei Pumapa'n nangni sanminring ranga zoranchum nangni a pêka a tuongdier hah en roi, ei lâibungpa moroi Paul khomin Pathien vârna pêk mangin nin kôm a miziek anga han.

16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in the same concerning these things; in which there are some things hard to understand, which the unlearned and unestablished wrest, as they also do the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

A lekhamuthuon murdia ha chonglupui hah a miziekin chu mahah ai ti ngâi ani. A lekhamuthuona neinun senkhat ngei chu a riet ântaka mahah vârloi le detloi mingei Pathien lekhabua rachang dang an itho ngâi anghan dikloitakin an rilminthâr ngâia, masikin an chunga sietna anni nanâkin an mintung ngâi.

17 Then you, beloved, foreknowing watch, lest, having been led away by the delusion of the ungodly, you may fall from your own stedfastness:

Aniatachu, ku ruol moroi nangni ngeiin chu mahah nin lei rietsai ani. Masikin balamboi mingei minchâina han nangni ruoi minmangin nin dingmun adetna renga nin inlet loina rangin singthei roi.

18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and unto the day of the age. (aiōn g165)
