2 Corinthians 3
1 Do we again begin to commend ourselves? or whether have we need of commendatory letters to you or from you, as some do?
Kanti sesiqala futhi ukuzethula na? Kumbe njengabanye abantu kumele sibe lezincwadi zokusikhulumela kini kumbe ezivela kini na?
2 You are our letter, having been written in our hearts, known and read of all men,
Lina ngokwenu liyizincwadi zethu ezibhalwe ezinhliziyweni zethu, ezaziwayo lezifundwa ngumuntu wonke.
3 being manifest that you are the letter of Christ, having been ministered by us, having been written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God: not in tables of stone, but in tables that are hearts of flesh.
Liyabonakalisa ukuba liyincwadi evela kuKhristu, isithelo sokutshumayela kwethu, engabhalwanga nge-inki kodwa ngoMoya kaNkulunkulu ophilayo, hatshi ezibhebhedwini zamatshe kodwa ezibhebhedwini zezinhliziyo zabantu.
4 But we have such confidence through Christ towards God,
Ithemba elinjengaleli ngelethu ngoKhristu phambi kukaNkulunkulu.
5 not that we are able of ourselves to think anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
Kungayisikho ukuthi siyenelisa ukwahlulela konke esikwenzayo kodwa ukwenelisa kwethu kuvela kuNkulunkulu.
6 who also rendered us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit creates life.
Usiphe amandla okuba zinceku zesivumelwano esitsha, kungayisiso sokulotshiweyo kodwa esikaMoya; ngoba okulotshiweyo kuyabulala kodwa uMoya uletha ukuphila.
7 But if the ministry of death, having been written in letters of stone, was in glory, so that the sons of Israel were not able to look upon the face of Moses on account of the glory of his countenance; which was destined to be done away:
Nxa imfundiso eyaletha ukufa eyayibhalwe ngamabala elitsheni, yeza lenkazimulo, ukuze abako-Israyeli bangabukhangeli kokuphela ubuso bukaMosi ngenxa yenkazimulo yabo, lanxa nje yayisifiphala,
8 how will not the ministry of the spirit be more in glory?
kambe imfundiso kaMoya kayiyikuba lenkazimulo enkulu na?
9 For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, how much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory.
Nxa imfundiso elahla abantu ilenkazimulo, pho inkulu kangakanani inkazimulo yemfundiso eletha ukulunga.
10 For indeed that which was glorious, has ceased to be glorious in this respect on account of the transcendent glory.
Ngoba okwakulenkazimulo khathesi akuselayo inkazimulo kuqathaniswa lenkazimulo enkulu.
11 For if that which was to be done away was through glory, much more is that which abides in glory.
Njalo nxa okwakufiphala kwaletha inkazimulo, pho inkulu kangakanani inkazimulo yalokho okungulaphakade!
12 Then having such hope, we use great boldness,
Ngakho, njengoba silethemba elinje, silesibindi.
13 and not as Moses put the veil on his face, in order that the sons of Israel might not look forward to the end of that which was transitory.
Thina kasinjengoMosi owamboza ubuso bakhe ukuze abako-Israyeli bangabukhangeli lapho inkazimulo yayisifiphala.
14 But their minds were darkened. For until this day the same veil remains in the reading of the old covenant, remains, not lifted; because it is done away in Christ;
Kodwa ingqondo zabo zathundubezwa, ngoba kuze kube lamhla lesosembeso sisala sikhona lapho isivumelwano esidala sibalwa. Kasisuswanga ngoba sisuswa ngoKhristu kuphela.
15 but until this day when Moses is read, the veil lies upon their heart:
Langalolosuku nxa kubalwa umlayo kaMosi, isembeso sembesa inhliziyo zabo.
16 but when they may turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Kodwa nxa umuntu ephendukela eNkosini, “isembeso siyasuswa.”
17 But the Lord is a Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
INkosi inguMoya njalo lapho okuloMoya weNkosi khona, kulokukhululeka.
18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Njalo thina, sonke esibonakalisa inkazimulo yeNkosi ngobuso obungembeswanga, siguqulelwa ekufananeni layo ngenkazimulo ekhula kokuphela, evela eNkosini, enguMoya.
