< 1 Timothy 5 >

1 Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers:
Nkabakansa mukulene, nsombi mwambile mwabulemu pakwinga ulyeti baiso. Misepela banobe ubabonengeti bakwenu,
2 the elderly women as mothers; the younger women as sisters, in all purity.
batukashi bamakulene ubabonengeti banyoko, ne batukashi batwanike ubabonengeti bakwenu kwakubula kubakumbwa.
3 Honor widows who are truly widows.
Kopa bulemu bamukalubingi babula pakwikata.
4 But if any widow has children, or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety to their own house, and to give benefactions to their ancestors: for this is acceptable in the sight of God.
Nomba na mukalubingi ukute bana, nambi bashikulu, abo bana ne bashikulu batangune kwinshila mukowa wabo ncalayandanga Lesa. Mukwinseco bakute kubweshela bashali ne bamankambushabo ncebalikubenshila, ico cikute kukondwelesha Lesa.
5 She who is truly a widow, and left alone, hopes in God, and abides in prayers and supplication night and day;
Mukalubingi wabula weshikumunyamfwa nambi kumulama, kupembelela kwakendi wakusha muli Lesa kayi ukute kupitilisha kupaila ne kusenga lunyamfwo kuli Lesa, munshi ne mashiku.
6 but she who is wanton is dead though living.
Nomba mukalubingi washa mano mubintu byabula ncito, wafwa kendi nambi ucili muyumi.
7 Indeed command these things, in order that they may be blameless.
Naboyo ubape malailile awa kwambeti babule kampenda.
8 But if any one provides not for his own, and especially those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Nomba na muntu katanyamfwa banse bendi makamaka bamung'anda yakendi, lakana lushomo kayi waipa kupita muntu wabula lushomo.
9 Let a widow not be taken into account under three score years, the wife of one husband,
Kotalemba lina lya mukalubingi pa maina abamukalubingi na nkanashika pabyaka makumi asanu ne limo, kayi abe mukashi walebwapo kumulume umo,
10 being witness in beautiful works; if she has brought up children, if she has entertained strangers, if she has washed the feet of saints, if she has succored those in tribulation, if she has followed in every good work.
ukute mpuwo yancito shaina. Abe mutukashi walakulisha cena banabendi, kayi walikupa cakulya bantu beshi kupita, kayi walikutambula cena bensu mung'anda yakendi kayi walikunyamfwa bantu mumapensho abo, kayi walikulibenga kwinsa byaina.
11 But reject the younger widows: for when they may wax wanton against Christ, they wish to marry;
Bamukalubingi batana bashika byaka makumi asanu ne limo kotabalemba maina. Pakwinga baba ne nyotwa yakuyanda kwebwa, bakute kushiya Klistu,
12 having condemnation, because they have rejected their first faith:
kayi ingababa ne mulandu wa kupwaya cipangano cabo cakutanguna.
13 and at the same time they learn to be idle, going about houses; and not only idle, but also loquacious even busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
Pambali palico, ngababa batolo, bakute cinga cakuya kulibandikisha ku manda abanabo, kufwiya nekwingila mumakani abanabo, ne kwamba makani abula kwelela kwamba.
14 Therefore I wish the younger women to marry, to raise up children, to rule the house, to give no occasion to the adversary for the sake of reproach;
Caina kwambeti bamukalubingi bacili batwanike bebwe, baseme bana ne kubakulisha cena, kwambeti balwani betu babule cindi ca kutwamba bintu byaipa.
15 for already certain ones have turned away after Satan.
Kobona, cilenshiki kuli ba mukalubingi batwanike, balatatiki kukonkela Satana.
16 If any faithful woman has widows, let her support them, and let not the church be burdened; in order that she may give her attention to those who are truly widows.
Na pali mutukashi muklistu ukute kulela bamukalubingi apitilishe kubanyamfwa kabataba mutolo ku mubungano, kwambeti mubungano upitilishe kunyamfwa bamukalubingi babula pa kwikata.
17 Let the elders who stand before the people beautifully, be considered worthy of double remuneration, especially those laboring in the word and teaching.
Batangunishi ba mubungano balatangunininga cena bapewe bulemu ne malipilo elela ncito ya kukambauka ne kwiyisha.
18 For the scripture says, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, The laborer is worthy of his hire.
Ici celana ne Mabala a Lesa alambangeti, “Kotasunga ng'ombe matomo kumulomo kwambeti ibule kulya cindi ncolaisebenseshenga mulibala” Kayi “musebenshi wela kutambula malipilo kuli walamwingisha ncito”
19 Bring not an accusation against an elder, except before two or three witnesses.
Kotautambula mulandu wakumubepesha mutangunishi wa mubungano na uliya bakamboni babili nambi batatu bawishi cena mulandu'wo.
20 Convict those who sin before all, in order that the rest may also have fear.
Nambi kulico, bakanse abo balapitilishingo'wa kwinsa bintu byaipa, kwambeti nabambi bamantepo ciyo.
21 I testify before God, and Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you must guard these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
Ndakwambilinga mwangofu pamenso pa Lesa ne Klistu Yesu pamo ne bangelo basalwa, kwambeti ukonke malailile awa kwakubula kulanga pa nkumo, kwambeti ubule kusalulula.
22 Lay hands quickly on no one, and be not partaker of other men's sins.
Kotafwambananga kubika makasa pa muntu kumuleta mu ncito ya Mwami ya butangunishi mu mubungano, pakwinga wenseco ngaumantamo lubasu mu bwipishi bwakendi. Obe pitilisha kuba wabula kampenda mu buyumi bwakobe.
23 Keep yourself pure. No longer drink water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and on account of your frequent sickness.
Kotanwango'wa menshi onka, konwangonga waini kukunyamfwa kusungulula mulibunda, cebo cakwambeti ukute kukolwa kolwa.
24 The sins of some men are manifest beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they also follow after:
Bwipishi bwa bantu nabambi bukute kuboneka patuba, nambi kabatana bomboloshewa. Nomba bwipishi bwa bantu nabambi bukute kumanta cindi citali kwambeti buboneke.
25 likewise truly are good works manifested beforehand; and those which are otherwise are not able to be hidden.
Ni cimo cimo micito yaina ikute kuboneka patuba, nayo itabonekele patuba nkayela kusolekwa sobwe.
