1 Corinthians 2
1 And I, brethren, having come unto you, came not in the excellency of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming unto you the testimony of God.
I já přišed k vám, bratří, nepřišel jsem s důstojností řeči nebo moudrostí, zvěstuje vám svědectví Boží.
2 For I determine to know nothing among you, except Jesus Christ, and Him having been crucified.
Nebo tak jsem usoudil nic jiného neuměti mezi vámi, nežli Ježíše Krista, a to ještě toho ukřižovaného.
3 I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
A byl jsem já u vás v mdlobě, a v bázni, i v strachu mnohém.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not in the persuasive words of wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and the power:
A řeč má a kázaní mé nebylo v slibných lidské moudrosti řečech, ale v dokázání Ducha svatého a moci,
5 in order that your faith may not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Aby víra vaše nebyla založena v moudrosti lidské, ale v moci Boží.
6 But we speak wisdom among the perfect: not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nought: (aiōn g165)
Moudrost pak mluvíme mezi dokonalými, ale moudrost ne tohoto světa, ani knížat světa tohoto, jenž hynou. (aiōn g165)
7 but we speak the wisdom of God having been hidden in a mystery, which God predestinated before the ages unto our glory: (aiōn g165)
Ale mluvíme moudrost Boží v tajemství, kterážto skryta jest, kterouž Bůh předuložil před věky k slávě naší, (aiōn g165)
8 which no one of the princes of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
Jížto žádný z knížat světa tohoto nepoznal. Nebo kdyby byli poznali, nebyliť by Pána slávy ukřižovali. (aiōn g165)
9 But, as has been written, the things which eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and has not entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
Ale kážeme, jakož psáno jest: Èehož oko nevídalo, ani ucho slýchalo, ani na srdce lidské vstoupilo, co jest připravil Bůh těm, kteříž jej milují.
10 But God has revealed them to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
Nám pak Bůh zjevil skrze Ducha svého. Nebo Duch zpytuje všecky věci, i hlubokosti Božské.
11 For who of men knows the things of man, except the spirit of the man which is in him? so indeed no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God.
Nebo kdo z lidí ví, co jest v člověku, jediné duch člověka, kterýž jest v něm? Takť i Božích věcí nezná žádný, jediné Duch Boží.
12 But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God; in order that we may know the things which have been graciously given unto us from God.
My pak nepřijali jsme ducha světa, ale Ducha toho, kterýž jest z Boha, abychom věděli, které věci od Boha darovány jsou nám.
13 Which things indeed we speak, not in the teachable words of human wisdom, but in the teachable words of the Spirit, expounding spiritual things to spiritual people.
O nichž i mluvíme ne těmi slovy, jimž lidská moudrost učí, ale kterýmž vyučuje Duch svatý, duchovním to, což duchovního jest, přivlastňujíce.
14 But the intellectual man receives not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Ale tělesný člověk nechápá těch věcí, kteréž jsou Ducha Božího; nebo jsou jemu bláznovství, aniž jich může poznati, protože ony duchovně mají rozsuzovány býti.
15 But the spiritual man discerns all things, and is himself discerned by no one.
Ale duchovní člověk rozsuzujeť všecko, sám pak od žádného nebývá souzen.
16 For who knows the mind of the Lord, who shall give him counsel? But we have the mind of Christ.
Nebo kdo jest poznal mysl Páně? A kdo jej bude učiti? My pak mysl Kristovu máme.
