< 1 Corinthians 2 >

1 And I, brethren, having come unto you, came not in the excellency of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming unto you the testimony of God.
Ka püie aw, nami veia law lü, ngthupkia Pamhnama ngthungtak ka ning ja mtheh üng, ngthu mpyawng mahnak ja ksingnak am sumei veng.
2 For I determine to know nothing among you, except Jesus Christ, and Him having been crucified.
Jesuh Khritaw kutlamktung üng taiha ngthua thea nami veia ka, ka ksing vai am ve.
3 I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
Nangmia vei ka law üng ktha ngcek lü cäi lü ngkhyet veng.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not in the persuasive words of wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and the power:
Ka pyen ja ka mtheimthangnak cun nghngicima khyaihnaka ngthu üng pyena am kya lü, Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya ja johit üng ni akya ve.
5 in order that your faith may not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Nami jumnak cun Pamhnama johita kya lü nghngicima ksingnaka am kya.
6 But we speak wisdom among the perfect: not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nought: (aiōn g165)
Jumeinak üng dämduh pängki veia pumngyam mah akba kami ngthukhyüki. Ahina pumngyam cun khawmdek upkiea asäng üng khyük be theikia khawmdek pumngyam am ni. (aiōn g165)
7 but we speak the wisdom of God having been hidden in a mystery, which God predestinated before the ages unto our glory: (aiōn g165)
Khawmdek am a ngtün law ham üngka naw mi hlüngtainak vaia axü päng, acun cun khyang üngka naw ngthupkia Pamhnam pumngyam ni kami sang ta. (aiōn g165)
8 which no one of the princes of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
Acun cun hina khawmdek upkie naw am ksing u, ami ksing vai sü ta hlüngtainaka Bawipa kutlamktung üng am ami taih vai sü. (aiōn g165)
9 But, as has been written, the things which eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and has not entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
“Mik üng am hmuh, hnga üng am ngjak, nghngicima mlung üng am lutki, Pamhnam naw ani mhläkphyanakiea phäha a pitpyang ni” tia Cangcim naw pyenki.
10 But God has revealed them to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
Mimi cun, acuna ngthu Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya naw jah ksingsaki ni. Ngmüimkhya naw avan naküt cun suihjap lü, Pamhnama ngthupkia nümnak pi ksing theiki.
11 For who of men knows the things of man, except the spirit of the man which is in him? so indeed no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God.
Mi Ngmüimkhya naw ni, mi mäta mawng a ksing. Acuna mäiha Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya naw ni Pamhnama mawng a ksing ta.
12 But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God; in order that we may know the things which have been graciously given unto us from God.
Acunakyase, khawmdeka ngmüimkhya am mi yaki. Pamhnama a jah pete mi jah ksingnak thei vaia Pamhnama veia ka, Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya mi yahki.
13 Which things indeed we speak, not in the teachable words of human wisdom, but in the teachable words of the Spirit, expounding spiritual things to spiritual people.
Cuna kyalü Ngmüimkhya takie, Ngmüimkhya üng sängki kami jah mtheha kba kami khyübe hin khyanga themnak naw a jah mthei am pyen lü Ngmüimkhya a jah mthei khyübe ni kami pyen.
14 But the intellectual man receives not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya üngkhyüh lawki letsawnge cun Ngmüimkhya am taki naw am doei thei. Ngmüimkhya am taki naw acubange cun akcanga am jah ksing lü i ja pi am jah ngai, isetikyaküng amimi cun Ngmüimkhya lam üng jah msuimsäpa kya se ni.
15 But the spiritual man discerns all things, and is himself discerned by no one.
Ngmüimkhya khyang cun naw avana ngthumkhyah theiki, acunsepi, ani cun u naw ngthu am mkhya thei.
16 For who knows the mind of the Lord, who shall give him counsel? But we have the mind of Christ.
U naw, Bawipaa mlung ksingki ni? U naw a dawnak vai mtheh thei khai ni? Mimi cun Khritawa mlung mi taki.
