< 1 Corinthians 15 >
1 But I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which you indeed received, in which you also stand,
Joonte loong, amadi sen loong asuh ngah ih nyootsoot rum taha Ruurang Ese tiit ah dopbaat rumhala, erah sen loong ah ih ekap etan, nyia sen loong ah erah tuumaang adi tonglan.
2 by which you are also saved; which word I preached to you, if you hold it fast, otherwise you believed in vain.
Ngah ih tiitkhaap nyootsoot rum taha langla ruurang ese tiit. Erah doh sen kamkam ih laalom an bah sen loong ah epui e an—erah lah angka bah sen hanpi ah thaangmuh nah ang ah.
3 For I delivered unto you in the first place that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
Ngah ih chochaat tang ah sen suh deenbaat rum taha, erah langla thoontang nang ih ju elong: Kristo ah seng rangdah raangtaan ih tiita, erah Rangteele ni uh li eha;
4 and that he was buried, and that he arose on the third day according to the Scriptures;
heh langla beng ano sa jom lidi we ngaaksaatta, Rangteele ni emah uh li eha;
5 and that he was seen by Cephas; then by the twelve.
heh teewah Pitar reeni dong ano heh kaamwah asiwanyi reeni uh dongkhoom eta.
6 Then he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once, of whom the more remain unto this day, but some have fallen asleep.
Erah lih adi heliphante cha bangnga nang ih ehan taang ni Dotdi dongkhoomta, ehanko loong ah amadi uh ething, marah marah ba tiita.
7 Then he was seen by James; then by all the apostles.
Erah lih adi Jisu Jeems reeni dongkhoomta, erah lilih kaamwah wahoh loong reeni dongta.
8 But last of all he was seen by me, as one born out of due time.
Lithoon ni nga reeni uh heh dong ih taha—tup maangchang di tup arah mina likhiik dongko laang ang ang bah uh nga reeni dongkhoom eh taha.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
Tiimnge liidi, kaamwah loongtang nang ih ngah ehinthoon—ngah kaamwah li theethe uh tah ang kokang, Rangte Chaas ah uh ngah ih thet haat kotang.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace was not vain toward me; but I have labored more abundantly than they all: and not I, but the grace of God with me.
Enoothong amadi anglang ah Rangte minchan di, eno minchan erah kotahang ah thaangmuh tah angka. Erah tokkhoh di, kaamwah wahoh loong nang ih ngah ehan mokalang, amiidi bah nga reelang ngeh ih tah angka, enoothong nga damdi Rangte wakmokah hala.
11 Then whether I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
Erah raangtaan ih, ngah ih nyootsoot rum koja oh adoleh neng ih nyootsoot kojan oh, erah seng ih nyootsoot hi ah, erah sen ih hanpi ehan.
12 But if Christ is preached that he is risen from the dead, how do certain ones among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Amadi, seng ih Kristo tek nawa ngaaksaat tiitkhaap ah baat hi, eno sen mararah ih tek nawa ngaaksaat ano tami ngaakthingka ngeh ih mamah mi li han?
13 but if there is no resurrection of the dead, Christ is not risen:
Erah thunhan ah amiimi mok ang abah, Kristo ah ngaaksaat muh;
14 but if Christ is not risen, then indeed is our preaching vain, and your faith is vain.
eno Kristo ah tek nawa lamok ngaaksaatta bah seng ih tiim esuh ma nyootsoot ih nyia sen ih uh tiim esuh ma hanpi an.
15 And we are indeed found false witnesses of God; because we testified according to God that he raised Christ: whom he did not raise, if then the dead rise not.
Erah nang ih ethih thoon ah langla, seng ih Rangte tiit ah tiit hu baat hi, tiimnge liidi Kristo ah tek nawa ngaaksaat eta liihi—enoothong tek nawa tangaak thingka liiha ah ami mok ang abah, Kristo uh tek nawa talaang ngaak saatsiit theng taaja.
16 But if the dead rise not, neither is Christ risen.
Tiimnge liidi tek nawa langaaksaatka bah, Kristo uh talaang ngaaksaat taaja.
17 But if Christ is not risen, your faith is vain; you are yet in your sins.
Eno Kristo ah langaaksaatta bah, sen laalom ah uh thaangmuh eno amadi uh sen rangdah ni malan.
18 Then indeed those having fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
Emah uh lang ela Kristo mendi tekte loong ah emat ela.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
Kristo suh laalomli roidong ah amah doh raangtaan luulu se abah nyia liwang raangtaan ih lakah bootjeeka bah, arah mongrep adoh o nang ih ehan ah minmui keechan ah seng ang ih.
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, the firstfruit of them that slept.
Enoothong amiisak tiit ah langla Kristo ah tek nawa ngaaksaat eta, eno jen tek ete loong ah raangtaan ih ngaaksaat ejih ih hoonla.
21 For since death was through a man, the resurrection of the dead is also through a man.
Tiimnge liidi etek ah mina wasiit thoilam di thok taha, erah likhiikkhiik ngaaksaat ah uh wasiit thoilam di thok hala.
22 For as in Adam all die, so truly in Christ shall all be made alive.
Mina loongtang Adam jun ih tiila, erah likhiikkhiik loongtang Kristo jun ih ngaakthing ah.
23 But each one in his own rank: Christ the first-fruit; then they who are Christ's, at His coming:
Enoothong wareprep ah phanjangjang ih ngaak saatsiit ah: Jaakhothoon ah Kristo; heh ngaakraak tokdoh langla, heh mina loong ah.
24 then the end, when he may deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he may destroy all government, all authority and power.
Erah lih adoh ethoon saapoot ah thok ha, Kristo ih chiiala damdi pan rumha loong ah jen ah, ngoong awang loong ah, eno jaatrep chaan ah jen ano, Rangte Hasong ah Hewah suh koh ah.
25 For it behooves him to reign until he may put all enemies under his feet.
Tiimnge liidi Rangte ih piiara loong ah jen ano heh lakhui nah maang thiinthiin Kristo ih jaatjaat pan ah.
26 Death the last enemy is destroyed.
Lithoon doh jentheng piiara ah etek ah ang ah.
27 For, he has subordinated all things beneath his feet. But when he may say, that all things have been subordinated, it is evident that the One having subordinated all things to him is excepted.
Tiimnge liidi Rangteele ni liiha, “Rangte ih jirep ah heh lakhui nah thiin ah.” Aradi saachamcham tiit ah langla “jirep” liiha di Rangte ih Kristo lakhui ni thiinha asuh liiha heh teewah tawak rookweka.
28 But when he may subordinate all things to him, then the Son himself will also be subordinated to him who hath subordinated all things to Himself, in order that God may be all things in all.
Enoothong jirep ah Kristo ih pan phiino, heh Sah, heh teewah ah Rangte lathong ni thiinha, o ih jirep ah heh lakhui ni thiinha; eno jirep ah Rangte ih pan ah.
29 Then what shall they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead rise not at all, why are they also baptized for them?
Amadi, etekte suh juutem rumha ah mamah ang ah? Neng ah tiim ah chosuh laalom rum ah? Mararah ih liiha, tek nawa tah ngaak saatka, erah ami mok ang abah, erah mina loong ah etek esuh tiimnge ih temrum la?
30 Why indeed are we in jeopardy every hour?
Eno Seng loong ah saapoot rookwet seng roidong ah choophaanphaan lam adi tiimnge khoom ih?
31 I protest by your rejoicing, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Nga joonte loong ngah bah saarookwet etek elang! Seng roidong di, seng Teesu Jisu Kristo damdi roop eno ngah sen suh khuupook angno, arah jenglang.
32 If after the manner of men I have fought with the wild beasts in Ephesus, what profit is it to me? If the dead rise not, let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.
Ngah Ephesas nah “woma siiawi” likhiik ih hansi raangtaan ih muitang bah, ngah ih tiim ma choh ang? Enoothong, erah jeng rumla ah likhiik, tekmang ah lah ngaakthingka bah, “Seng loong ah ih jok phaksah laang eji, rangkhah baleh etek eh ih?
33 Be not deceived: Evil communications corrupt good manners.
Nakmok ngak an.”Lajak damdi joon adi lajak ih hoon ah tih.”
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak to your shame.
Sen thung ngaaksek e anno rangdah jih ah nakkah re an. Ngah ih sen loong asuh rakmu riike ih li rumhala mararah ih Rangte tajatkan.
35 But one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what body do they come?
Mararah ih chengha, “Tekmang ah mamah mi ngaakthing ah? Neng sakphu ah tiimjaat ang ah?
36 Thou foolish one, that which thou sowest, is not quickened unless it may die;
Mamah ngakthak lan! Sen ih hejih ah hah ni bengkaat andi, haapphook esuh jihak ah raangtek ela.
37 and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but naked grain, if it may happen to be of wheat, or of some one of the other grains;
Eno erah ki han ah langla hejih huuta, raan angkoja oh, tiim angkoja oh, hakchoi tah angka liwang nah ba hebang ih hoon hak ah.
38 but God gives it a body as he wished; and to each of the seeds its own body.
Rangte ih heh raang ah heh thungthung ih hebang ih hoonthukla; hejih asuh hethaak hemaak hakthukla.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is indeed a flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.
Eno siianyah ething loong si ah phoosiit tah angka; mina si aba phoosiit ang ah, luiamaan si mama, woh si mama eno nyah si ah mama.
40 Indeed there are heavenly bodies, and there are earthly bodies: but indeed there is one glory of the heavenlies, and another glory of those upon the earth.
Eno rang ni tongte nyia hah ni tongte uh eje; rang dowa loong ah nyia hah ni tongte loong jaase maama angla.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory:
Rangsa ah mama ih jaaseela, laphui ah mama ih jaaseela, eno ritsih jaase ah mama; ritsih jaase botseh mama mama ih angla.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
Etek nawa ngaakthing ja emamah ang ah. Hesakpuh benghi ah echaam jaat; enoothong ngaaksaat ela abah lachaam jaat nyia mabah uh lathoonte.
43 it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
Beng ih adi jootthipakhah nyia larook lata; ngaaksaat ih adoba, jaase nyia hechaan pan ang ah.
44 It is sown a psychical body; it is raised a pneumatical body. If there is a psychical body, there is also a pneumatical (body).
Ebeng ehi adi langla, seng sakpuh; ngaaksaat ih taano, erah sakphu ah chiiala ih hoonla. Hebanlam ih sakphu jeetaano chiiala sakphu uh eje ang ah.
45 As indeed it has been written; The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last man Adam, a life-creating spirit.
Rangteele ni liiha, “Phangdong eta mina, Adam ah ething ih dong thukta”; enoothong lithoon dowa Adam ah langla ething Chiiala ih dongta.
46 But that which is spiritual was not first, but that which is animal; afterward that which is spiritual.
Chiiala ah phangkhoh tara taha, sakpuh ah phangkhoh dongta, erah lini ba chiiala ah ra taha.
47 The first man was from the earth, earthy: the second man from heaven.
Phangkhoh dowa Adam ah, paak nawa donghoonta ah hah nawa angta; erah lih dowa Adam ah rang nawa angta.
48 As was the earthy, such are they also who are earthy; and as was the heavenly, such are they also who are heavenly.
Arah hah dowa mina loong ah langla paak nawa donghoonta ah likhiik; eno rang dowa loong ah langla rang nawa ra taha ah likhiik.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we must also bear the image of the heavenly.
Seng loong ah paak nawa donghoonta mina likhiik angphiino, erah likhiikkhiik rang dowa Mih likhiik ih hoon ih.
50 But I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
Joonte loong, ngah ih liihang abah, hansi nyia sih nawa dong hoonha ah Rang nah tami wangka, adoleh hebanlam ih tekjaat ah latekjaat tami hoonka.
51 Behold, I speak to you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Husah ni amiisak tiit ah boichaat an: Seng loong ah thoontang tatiike ang ah, enoothong lithoon doh saam rengtom adoh, seng loong ah siak mikkhoijap doh lek ih.
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Tiimnge liidi saam rengtom adoh, etekte loong ah mabah uh lakah we ngaaktek suh saat ah, eno seng loongtang elek eh ih.
53 For it behooves this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality.
Tiimnge liidi etekjaat tiimjih ah erah latekjaat ih hoon jaatjaat etheng; marah tekjih ah erah latekjih ih lektheng.
54 But when this corruptible may put on incorruption, and this mortal may put on immorality, then shall the word which has been written be fulfilled, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Erah raangtaan ih emah ih ang adoh, nyia etekjih ah latekjih ih hoon adoh, Rangteele ni raangha ah amiisak ih ang ah: “Etek ah jen eta, ejen ejih ah lang ih haatta!”
55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? (Hadēs )
Etek, an ih mani jen hu? Etek, an ih jentheng chaan aphaan ah mani ah?” (Hadēs )
56 But the sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law.
Chamnaang ih thuk suh etek ih chaan aphaan ah rangdah nawa choha, eno rangdah ih chaan aphaan ah Hootthe nawa choha.
57 But thanks be unto God, who gives us our victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Enoothong Rangte suh lakookmi liihi heh ih seng loong asuh ejen etheng ah Jisu Kristo jun ih kohali!
58 So, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Erah raangtaan ih joonte loong, rongkopkop ih moka ih. Teesu raangtaan saarookwet ih mokah roh eh an, sen ih jat ehan Teesu raangtaan ih mokali ah tiim uh thaangmuh tah angka.
