Zechariah 6
1 Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.
Alcé de nuevo mis ojos y miré, y he aquí cuatro carros que salían de entre dos montes, y los montes eran montes de bronce.
2 In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,
En el primer carro había caballos bermejos; en el segundo, caballos negros;
3 And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.
en el tercero, caballos blancos, y en el cuarto, caballos manchados, vigorosos.
4 Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?
Entonces tomé la palabra y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué son estos, señor mío?»
5 And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.
A lo que respondiendo el ángel me dijo: «Estos son los cuatro vientos del cielo que vienen de la presencia del Señor de toda la tierra».
6 That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.
El (carro) de los caballos negros se dirige hacia la tierra del Norte; el de los blancos va tras ellos; y el de los manchados sale hacia la tierra del Mediodía.
7 And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.
Y salieron los vigorosos que anhelaban ponerse en marcha para recorrer la tierra. (El ángel les) dijo: «¡Id, recorred la tierra!» Y ellos recorrieron la tierra.
8 Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.
Entonces me llamó, y me habló, diciendo: «Mira, los que van hacia la tierra del Norte han aplacado mi espíritu en la tierra septentrional».
9 And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Y me llegó la palabra de Yahvé en estos términos:
10 Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.
“Toma (las ofrendas) de los del cautiverio: de Holdai, de Tobías y de Idaías que han venido de Babilonia. En aquel mismo día irás y entrarás en la casa de Josías, hijo de Sofonías.
11 Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,
Tomarás la plata y el oro, y harás una corona que pondrás sobre la cabeza del Sumo Sacerdote Jesús, hijo de Josedec;
12 And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.
y le hablarás en estos términos: Así dice Yahvé de los ejércitos: He aquí el hombre cuyo nombre es Pimpollo, el cual germinará en su lugar y edificará el Templo de Yahvé.
13 Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.
Él edificará el Templo de Yahvé, y será revestido de gloria; y se sentará para reinar sobre su trono. Él será sacerdote sobre su solio, y habrá espíritu de paz entre ambos.
14 And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.
Y para Hélem, Tobías, Idaías y Hen, hijo de Sofonías, las coronas servirán de recuerdo (y quedarán) en el Templo de Yahvé.
15 And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
Vendrán los que están en lugares remotos y edificarán el Templo de Yahvé; y conoceréis que Yahvé de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros. Esto sucederá si obedeciereis fielmente la voz de Yahvé, vuestro Dios».”
