Zechariah 4

1 And the Angel that talked with mee, came againe and waked mee, as a man that is raysed out of his sleepe,

۱ و فرشته‌ای که با من تکلم می‌نمود، برگشته، مرا مثل شخصی که از خواب بیدار شودبیدار کرد،

2 And saide vnto me, What seest thou? And I said, I haue looked, and beholde, a candlesticke all of gold with a bowle vpon the toppe of it, and his seuen lampes therein, and seuen pipes to the lampes, which were vpon the toppe thereof.

۲ و به من گفت: «چه چیز می‌بینی؟» گفتم: «نظر کردم و اینک شمعدانی که تمامش طلاست و روغندانش بر سرش و هفت چراغش بر آن است و هر چراغ که بر سرش می‌باشد هفت لوله دارد.

3 And two oliue trees ouer it, one vpon the right side of the bowle, and the other vpon the left side thereof.

۳ و به پهلوی آن دو درخت زیتون که یکی بطرف راست روغندان و دیگری بطرف چپش می‌باشد.»

4 So I answered, and spake to the Angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my Lord?

۴ و من توجه نموده، فرشته‌ای را که با من تکلم می‌نمود خطاب کرده، گفتم: «ای آقایم اینها چه می‌باشد؟»

5 Then the Angel that talked with mee, answered and said vnto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord.

۵ و فرشته‌ای که با من تکلم می‌نمودمرا جواب داد و گفت: «آیا نمی دانی که اینهاچیست؟» گفتم: «نه‌ای آقایم.»

6 Then he answered and spake vnto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord vnto Zerubbabel, saying, Neither by an armie nor strength, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hostes.

۶ او در جواب من گفت: «این است کلامی که خداوند به زربابل می‌گوید: نه به قدرت و نه به قوت بلکه به روح من. قول یهوه صبایوت این است.

7 Who art thou, O great mountaine, before Zerubbabel? thou shalt be a plaine, and he shall bring foorth the head stone thereof, with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace vnto it.

۷ ‌ای کوه بزرگ تو چیستی؟ در حضورزربابل به همواری مبدل خواهی شد و سنگ سرآن را بیرون خواهد آورد و صدا خواهند زد فیض فیض بر آن باشد.»

8 Moreouer, the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

۸ و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

9 The handes of Zerubbabel haue layde the foundation of this house: his handes shall also finish it, and thou shalt knowe that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you.

۹ «دستهای زربابل این خانه را بنیاد نهاد و دستهای وی آن را تمام خواهد کرد و خواهی دانست که یهوه صبایوت مرا نزد شما فرستاده است.

10 For who hath despised the day of the small thinges? but they shall reioyce, and shall see the stone of tinne in the hand of Zerubbabel: these seuen are the eyes of the Lord, which go thorow the whole world.

۱۰ زیرا کیست که روز امور کوچک را خوار شمارد زیراکه این هفت مسرور خواهند شد حینی که شاغول را در دست زربابل می‌بینند. و اینها چشمان خداوند هستند که در تمامی جهان ترددمی نمایند.»

11 Then answered I, and said vnto him, What are these two oliue trees vpon the right and vpon the left side thereof?

۱۱ پس من او را خطاب کرده، گفتم: «این دودرخت زیتون که بطرف راست و بطرف چپ شمعدان هستند چه می‌باشند؟»

12 And I spake moreouer, and said vnto him, What bee these two oliue branches, which thorowe the two golden pipes emptie themselues into the golde?

۱۲ و بار دیگر او را خطاب کرده، گفتم که «این دو شاخه زیتون به پهلوی دو لوله زرینی که روغن طلا را از خود می‌ریزد چیستند؟»

13 And hee answered me, and saide, Knowest thou not what these bee? And I sayde, No, my Lord.

۱۳ او مرا جواب داده، گفت: «آیا نمی دانی که اینها چیستند؟» گفتم: «نه‌ای آقایم.»

14 Then said he, These are the two oliue branches, that stand with the ruler of the whole earth.

۱۴ گفت: «اینها پسران روغن زیت می‌باشند که نزد مالک تمامی جهان می‌ایستند.»
