Zechariah 3
1 And he shewed mee Iehoshua the hie Priest, standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan stoode at his right hand to resist him.
Ele me mostrou Josué, o sumo sacerdote de pé diante do anjo de Yahweh, e Satanás de pé à sua direita para ser seu adversário.
2 And the Lord said vnto Satan, The Lord reprooue thee, O Satan: euen the Lord that hath chosen Ierusalem, reprooue thee. Is not this a brand taken out of the fire?
Javé disse a Satanás: “Javé te repreende, Satanás! Sim, Javé, que escolheu Jerusalém, repreende-o! Isto não é um pau em chamas arrancado do fogo”?
3 Nowe Iehoshua was clothed with filthie garments, and stoode before the Angel.
Agora Josué estava vestido com roupas sujas, e estava de pé diante do anjo.
4 And he answered and spake vnto those that stoode before him, saying, Take away the filthie garments from him. And vnto him hee saide, Behold, I haue caused thine iniquitie to depart from thee, and I wil clothe thee with change of raiment.
Ele respondeu e falou aos que estavam diante dele, dizendo: “Tirem as vestes imundas dele”. A ele disse: “Eis que fiz passar de ti a tua iniqüidade, e te vestirei com roupas ricas”.
5 And I saide, Let them set a faire diademe vpon his head. So they set a faire diademe vpon his head, and clothed him with garments, and the Angel of the Lord stoode by.
Eu disse: “Deixe-os colocar um turbante limpo em sua cabeça”. Então eles colocaram um turbante limpo em sua cabeça, e o vestiram; e o anjo de Yahweh estava esperando.
6 And the Angel of the Lord testified vnto Iehoshua, saying,
O anjo de Yahweh assegurou Josué, dizendo:
7 Thus saith the Lord of hostes, If thou wilt walke in my wayes, and keepe my watch, thou shalt also iudge mine House, and shalt also keepe my courtes, and I will giue thee place among these that stand by.
“Yahweh dos Exércitos diz: 'Se você caminhar em meus caminhos, e se seguir minhas instruções, então você também julgará minha casa, e também manterá meus tribunais, e eu lhe darei um lugar de acesso entre estes que ficam a postos.
8 Heare now, O Iehoshua the hie Priest, thou and thy fellowes that sit before thee: for they are monstruous persons: but behold, I wil bring forth the Branche my seruant.
Ouça agora, Josué, o sumo sacerdote, você e seus companheiros que se sentam diante de você, pois são homens que são um sinal; pois, eis que eu farei sair meu servo, o Ramo.
9 For loe, the stone that I haue layd before Iehoshua: vpon one stone shalbe seuen eyes: beholde, I will cut out the grauing thereof, saith the Lord of hostes, and I will take away the iniquitie of this land in one day.
Pois eis a pedra que pus diante de Josué: sobre uma pedra estão sete olhos; eis que gravarei sua inscrição', diz Javé dos Exércitos, 'e removerei a iniqüidade daquela terra em um dia'.
10 In that day, saith the Lord of hostes, shall ye call euery man his neighbour vnder the vine, and vnder the figge tree.
Naquele dia', diz Javé dos Exércitos, 'você convidará cada homem seu próximo sob a videira e sob a figueira'”.
