< Titus 1 >

1 Paul a seruaunt of God, and an Apostle of Iesus Christ, according to the faith of Gods elect, and the acknowledging of the trueth, which is according vnto godlines,
Ikalata iji jihumile kulyune ne Paulo ne m'bombi ghwa Nguluve, kange ne n'sung'hua ghwa Yeesu Kilisite. Une nisung'ilue nivalungike avabaghulua va Nguluve mulwitiko namuvukagusi uvwa kyang'ani vuno vukuvalongosia mumaghendele amimike.
2 Vnto the hope of eternall life, which God that cannot lie, hath promised before the world began: (aiōnios g166)
valinuluhuvio ulwa vumi uvwa kisila na kusila vuno uNguluve alyalaghile kuhuma iisi ye jikyale kupelua umwene naijova uvudesi. (aiōnios g166)
3 But hath made his worde manifest in due time through the preaching, which is committed vnto me, according to the commandement of God our Sauiour:
Mun'siki ghwa Nguluve ghuno ghufikile, alyavonesisie ilisio lyake mu mhola jinoalyamelile une kudalikila. jikanighanile kuvomba ndiki kululaghilo lya Nguluve mpoki ghwitu.
4 To Titus my naturall sonne according to the common faith, Grace, mercie and peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ our Sauiour.
kwa Tiito, umwana ghwa lweli mu lwitiko lwitu. ulusungu, ikisa nulutengano kuhuma kwa Nguluve Nhaata nu Yesu Kiisite mpoki ghwitu.
5 For this cause left I thee in Creta, that thou shouldest continue to redresse the thinges that remaine, and shouldest ordeine Elders in euery citie, as I appointed thee,
mu uluo nikakulekile kuti, usitende sooni sinasikao kamilike na kuvika avalolesi va tembile mumakaja ghoni ndavule finonikakulaghiile.
6 If any be vnreproueable, the husband of one wife, hauing faithfull children, which are not slandered of riot, neither are disobedient.
umulolesi ghwa tembile avaghile kuva kisila lupiko, mughosi ghwa n'dala jumo, unyavana vitiki vanonavilolela na vasila lwitiki.
7 For a Bishop must bee vnreproueable, as Gods steward, not froward, not angrie, not giuen to wine, no striker, not giuen to filthie lucre,
luvaghile kuvalolesi ndavule umwimilisi ghwa likaaja lwa Nguluve, alekaghe piva nulupiko. nangavisaghe munhu ghwa njeghelo au juno naikujisigha, nangavisaghe munhu ghwa kutengulisia uvuhovesi kange nagavisaghe mhojofu.
8 But harberous, one that loueth goodnesse, wise, righteous, holy, temperate,
looli avisaghe ntengeleli, junoikela inofu, avisaghe nyaluhala lunolukwiliine, mugholofu juno ikum'bingilila uNguluve nyakughela.
9 Holding fast that faithfull worde according to doctrine, that he also may bee able to exhort with wholesome doctrine, and conuince them that say against it.
junoiwesia kukwimilia imbulanisio sa lweli sinosivulanisivue, neke awesie kuvakangasia mu mbulanisio inono juno iwesia kukuvavunga vooni vanovikunkana.
10 For there are many disobedient and vaine talkers and deceiuers of mindes, chiefly they of the Circumcision,
ulwakuva kulinavahosi vinga, vinga vala vano navakundi. amasio ghavanave gheghakijasu, visyanga na kukuvalongosia avanhu muvusyovi.
11 Whose mouthes must bee stopped, which subuert whole houses, teaching things, which they ought not, for filthie lucres sake.
luvaghile kukuvasigha avanhu ndavule avuo. vivulanisia ghala ghano naghavavaghile kuluvumbulilo lwa soni nakunangania ikaja soni.
12 One of themselues, euen one of their owne prophets said, The Cretians are alwaies liars, euill beastes, slowe bellies.
jumonga muvanave, umunhu unyaluhala alyatiile,”avakelete valinuvudesi vusila vusililo, vahene fikanu, voolo na vanyamwojo,”
13 This witnesse is true: wherefore conuince them sharply, that they may be sound in ye faith,
injovele iji je ja lweli, lino uvasighe ku ngufu neke kuti wawesie kujova ilweli mu lwitiko.
14 And not taking heede to Iewish fables and commandements of men, that turne away from the trueth.
uleke kupulikisia ifipango fino nafyalweli ifya kiyahudi ni ndaghilo sa vanhu, vano vavulekile uvunyakyang'ani.
15 Vnto the pure are all things pure, but vnto them that are defiled, and vnbeleeuing, is nothing pure, but euen their mindes and consciences are defiled.
kuvanhu voni vano valogholofu, ifinu fyoni fivalasivue, looli kuvala voni vano vanavano na valamafu kange navitiki, ifinhu fyoni filamafu. ulwakuva amasaghe ghave nuluvumbulilo lwave lulamafu.
16 They professe that they know God, but by works they deny him, and are abominable and disobedient, and vnto euery good worke reprobate.
vikujova veene kuti vamanyile unguluve, neke kumaghendele ghaave vikun'kaana. avuo vahosi kange navitiki. navanoghile nambe mumbombo jimonga inofu.
