Romans 8
1 Now then there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Iesus, which walke not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Portanto, agora, nenhuma condenação há para os que estão em Cristo Jesus.
2 For the Lawe of the Spirite of life, which is in Christ Iesus, hath freed mee from the lawe of sinne and of death.
Porque a Lei do Espírito de vida, em Cristo Jesus, te livrou da lei do pecado e da morte.
3 For (that that was impossible to ye Lawe, in as much as it was weake, because of ye flesh) God sending his owne Sonne, in ye similitude of sinful flesh, and for sinne, condened sinne in the flesh,
Pois o que era impossível para a lei, porque estava enferma pela carne, Deus, ao enviar o seu próprio Filho em semelhança da carne pecadora, e por causa do pecado, condenou o pecado na carne,
4 That that righteousnes of the Law might be fulfilled in vs, which walke not after ye flesh, but after the Spirit.
para que a exigência da lei se cumprisse em nós, que andamos, não segundo a carne, mas sim, segundo o Espírito.
5 For they that are after the flesh, sauour the things of the flesh: but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Pois os que são segundo a carne voltam sua mentalidade para as coisas da carne, mas os que são segundo o Espírito, para as coisas do Espírito.
6 For the wisedome of the flesh is death: but the wisedome of the Spirit is life and peace,
Pois a mentalidade da carne é morte, mas a mentalidade do Espírito é vida e paz.
7 Because the wisedome of the flesh is enimitie against God: for it is not subiect to the Lawe of God, neither in deede can be.
Pois a mentalidade da carne é inimizade contra Deus, pois não se sujeita à Lei de Deus, porque nem sequer pode.
8 So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God.
Portanto, os que permanecem na carne não podem agradar a Deus.
9 Now ye are not in the flesh, but in ye Spirit, because ye spirit of God dwelleth in you: but if any man hath not ye Spirit of Christ, ye same is not his.
Porém vós não permaneceis na carne, mas sim, no Espírito, se é que o Espírito de Deus habita em vós. Porém, se alguém não tem o Espírito de Cristo, esse não lhe pertence.
10 And if Christ bee in you, the body is dead, because of sinne: but the Spirite is life for righteousnesse sake.
E se Cristo está em vós, apesar do corpo estar morto por causa do pecado, o Espírito é vida por causa da justiça.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised vp Iesus from the dead, dwell in you, he that raised vp Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortall bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
E se o Espírito daquele que dos mortos ressuscitou a Jesus habita em vós, aquele que dos mortos ressuscitou a Cristo Jesus também dará vida aos vossos corpos mortais por meio do seu Espírito, que habita em vós.
12 Therefore brethren, wee are detters not to the flesh, to liue after the flesh:
Por isso, irmãos, somos devedores, não à carne, para vivermos segundo a carne;
13 For if ye liue after the flesh, ye shall die: but if yee mortifie the deedes of the body by the Spirit, ye shall liue.
porque, se viverdes segundo a carne, morrereis; mas se, pelo Espírito, fizerdes morrer as ações do corpo, vivereis.
14 For as many as are ledde by the Spirit of God, they are the sonnes of God.
Pois todos quantos são guiados pelo Espírito de Deus são filhos de Deus.
15 For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father.
Pois não recebestes o espírito de escravidão, para voltardes ao medo; mas recebestes o Espírito de adoção como filhos, pelo qual clamamos: Aba, Pai!
16 The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
O próprio Espírito dá testemunho com o nosso espírito de que somos filhos de Deus.
17 If we be children, we are also heires, euen the heires of God, and heires annexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
E, se somos filhos, logo somos também herdeiros; herdeiros de Deus, e coerdeiros de Cristo; se sofremos com ele, é para que também com ele sejamos glorificados.
18 For I count that the afflictions of this present time are not worthy of the glory, which shalbe shewed vnto vs.
Pois considero que as aflições deste tempo presente nem se comparam com a glória que nos será revelada.
19 For the feruent desire of the creature waiteth when the sonnes of God shalbe reueiled,
Pois a criação espera ansiosamente a revelação dos filhos de Deus;
20 Because the creature is subiect to vanitie, not of it owne will, but by reason of him, which hath subdued it vnder hope,
porque a criação ficou sujeita à futilidade (não por vontade própria, mas sim por causa daquele que a sujeitou),
21 Because the creature also shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertie of the sonnes of God.
na esperança de que também a mesma criação seja liberta da escravidão da degradação para a liberdade da glória dos filhos de Deus.
22 For we knowe that euery creature groneth with vs also, and trauaileth in paine together vnto this present.
Pois sabemos que toda a criação geme e sofre dores como as de parto até agora.
23 And not onely the creature, but we also which haue the first fruites of the Spirit, euen we doe sigh in our selues, waiting for the adoption, euen the redemption of our body.
E não somente [isso], mas também nós, que temos os primeiros frutos do Espírito, gememos em nós mesmos, esperando a [adoção], [isto é], a redenção do nosso corpo.
24 For we are saued by hope: but hope that is seene, is not hope: for how can a man hope for that which he seeth?
Pois fomos salvos na esperança. Ora, a esperança que se vê não é esperança; afinal, por que alguém ainda espera o que já vê?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, we doe with patience abide for it.
Mas, se esperamos o que não vemos, com paciência esperamos.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed.
E da mesma maneira também o Espírito ajuda em nossas fraquezas. Pois não sabemos orar como se deve, mas o próprio Espírito intercede [por nós] com gemidos inexprimíveis.
27 But he that searcheth the heartes, knoweth what is the meaning of the Spirit: for he maketh request for ye Saints, according to the wil of God.
E aquele que examina os corações sabe qual é a intenção do Espírito, pois ele intercede pelos santos, segundo [a vontade] de Deus.
28 Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose.
E sabemos que todas as coisas juntamente contribuem para o bem daqueles que amam a Deus, dos que são chamados segundo o seu propósito.
29 For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren.
Pois aos que desde antes conheceu, também os predestinou para serem conformes à imagem do seu Filho, para que ele seja o primogênito entre muitos irmãos.
30 Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified.
E aos que predestinou, a esses também chamou; e aos que chamou, a esses também justificou; e aos que justificou, a esses também glorificou.
31 What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs?
Então, que diremos acerca dessas coisas? Se Deus é por nós, quem será contra nós?
32 Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also?
Aquele que nem mesmo ao seu próprio Filho poupou, como não nos dará também com ele todas as coisas?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods chosen? it is God that iustifieth,
Quem fará acusação contra os escolhidos de Deus? Deus é quem justifica.
34 Who shall condemne? it is Christ which is dead, yea, or rather, which is risen againe, who is also at the right hand of God, and maketh request also for vs.
Quem [os] condenará? Cristo Jesus é o que morreu; além disto é o que também ressuscitou; o que também está à direita de Deus, e que intercede por nós.
35 Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde?
Quem nos separará do amor de Cristo? A aflição, a angústia, a perseguição, a fome, a nudez, o perigo, ou a espada?
36 As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheepe for the slaughter.
Como está escrito: “Pois por causa de ti somos entreges à morte o dia todo; somos contados como ovelhas para o matadouro”.
37 Neuerthelesse, in all these thinges we are more then coquerours through him that loued vs.
Mas em todas estas coisas somos mais que vencedores, por meio daquele que nos amou.
38 For I am perswaded that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Pois tenho certeza que nem a morte, nem a vida, nem anjos, nem principados, nem o presente, nem o futuro, nem poderes,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shalbe able to separate vs from the loue of God, which is in Christ Iesus our Lord.
nem altura, nem profundeza, nem qualquer outra criatura poderá nos separar do amor de Deus, que está em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor.
