< Romans 6 >
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue still in sinne, that grace may abounde? God forbid.
Khumbe tunchove khihi? Tughendelelage ukhuvomba imbivi ukhuta ulusayo lyongelele?
2 Howe shall we, that are dead to sinne, liue yet therein?
Bakhoo. Ufwe twafwile mumbivi, tuwesya ndakhikhi, ukhutama umwa khange?
3 Knowe ye not, that all we which haue bene baptized into Iesus Christ, haue bene baptized into his death?
Tee samulumanyile ukhuta vala avonchiwe mwa Klisite vaonchiwe mumbufwe wa mwene?
4 We are buried then with him by baptisme into his death, that like as Christ was raysed vp from the dead to the glorie of the Father, so we also should walke in newnesse of life.
Twasyieliwa pupaninie nu mwene ukhughendela khulwonoho mumbufwe. Ile lyavombike ukhuta u Klisite waghiniwe ukhuma khuvufwe ukhughendele uvutwa wa Dada, ukuta nayufwa tuwesyaghe ukhughenda mumbupya wa khutama.
5 For if we be planted with him to the similitude of his death, euen so shall we be to the similitude of his resurrection,
Ulwakhuva tuhungile pupaninie nu mwene khukhihwani kya vufwe uwamwene, pwu tulahanga pupaninie mumbunchuka uwamwene.
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sinne might be destroied, that henceforth we should not serue sinne.
Ufwe tulumanyile ndee uvumunu wietu uwakhatale wavungiwe pupaninie nu mwene, ukhuta umbile ugwa mbivi ghunangeikhage eile lyahumile ukhuta tulekhe ukhuva vasuhiwa va mbivi.
7 For he that is dead, is freed from sinne.
Umwene uvyafwile aviekhiwe ukhuva vayilweli ukhukongana ni mbivi.
8 Wherefore, if we bee dead with Christ, we beleeue that we shall liue also with him,
Ukhuva tufwile pupaninie nu Klisite, tukwidikha ukhuta tutamaga pupaninie nu mwene.
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dieth no more: death hath no more dominion ouer him.
Tulumanyi ukhuta uYesu anchukhile ukhuma khuvufwe, nukhuta samunu uvyafiwile tena. Uvufwe savukhunkonga kavile.
10 For in that hee died, hee died once to sinne but in that he liueth, he liueth to God.
Khuvufwe uwafyelile khu nongwa incha mbivi, afyile khamo ukhuvafyela voni. Nakhukhutama ukhuitama, itama mumakha nga Nguluve.
11 Likewise thinke ye also, that ye are dead to sin, but are aliue to God in Iesus Christ our Lord.
Khunjila iyo yiyiyo, nayumwe khulondiwa avanu avafwile ukhuva avanu avafwile mumbivi, ulwakhuva kwa Nguluve mwa Yesu Klisite.
12 Let not sinne reigne therefore in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in ye lusts therof:
Kwu baako ukhuta ukhunogwa kwa mbieli khulekhe ukhukwile imbivi ukhuta umbilie gwukongage umuguunogela uvunonu uwakhunogwa.
13 Neither giue ye your members, as weapons of vnrighteousnes vnto sinne: but giue your selues vnto God, as they that are aliue from the dead, and giue your members as weapons of righteousnesse vnto God.
Ulekhe ukhughava uluvafu lwa mbili gwakho khumbivi nifivombelo ifisafinogiwa, pwu twihumiaghe yufwe khwa Nguluve, nda vumi avahumile kwa Nguluve.
14 For sinne shall not haue dominion ouer you: for ye are not vnder ye Lawe, but vnder grace.
Tulekhe ukhuta imbivi ukwutumilila, ulwakhuva samliepasi pa fyombo ifya lweli kwa Nguluve.
15 What then? shall we sinne, because we are not vnder the Law, but vnder grace? God forbid.
Khikhi khumbe? Tuvombe imbivi ulwakhuva tulipasi pa ndageilo, ila pasi palusayo? Kwu bakho.
16 Knowe ye not, that to whomsoeuer yee giue your selues as seruats to obey, his seruants ye are to whom ye obey, whether it be of sinne vnto death, or of obedience vnto righteousnesse?
Samulumanyile ukhuta khumwene yuywa uviikhuminche yuywa ukhuva imbombi vei mwene umwe mulivavombi va mwene, umwene vipanogile ukhumpulikhincha? Iye lweli nupwu mungave umwe mulivavomba mbivi inchikhuvahilika khuvufwe, apange mlivasuhiwa avakwidikila ukuvahilika kuvufwe, apange mlievasuhiwa va wayilweli.
17 But God be thanked, that ye haue beene the seruants of sinne, but yee haue obeyed from the heart vnto the forme of the doctrine, wherunto ye were deliuered.
Pwu aginiwagwe uNguluve! ulwakhuva mukhale vavombi va mbivi, ulwakhuva mwidikhe ukhuma munumbula ukhukongana nulumanyisyo ulumwapokhile.
18 Being then made free from sinne, yee are made the seruants of righteousnesse.
Muviekhiwe mumbwavukhe ukhuhuma kwumbivi, khange muvikhiwe vavombi va vuyilweli.
19 I speake after the maner of man, because of the infirmitie of your flesh: for as yee haue giuen your members seruants to vncleannes and to iniquitie, to commit iniquitie, so now giue your mebers seruants vnto righteousnesse in holinesse.
Ninchova ndumunu ulwakhuva yavudekhe dekhe wa mivile gyitu. Ulwakhuva mukhahuminchi mumivili gyinyo ukhuva vasuhiwa vayilweli kuvu vanche.
20 For when ye were the seruants of sinne, ye were freed from righteousnesse.
Upwumukha vasuhiwa va mbivi, mukhale mbuleghefu pavutali ni lweli.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things, whereof ye are nowe ashamed? For the ende of those things is death.
Kwuu nsieki ugwa mkha ni niesekhe yilikhu kwu kumbombo iyumukhuyivona leino mwivona soni khuieyo? ulwakhuva khuvusilo wa mbombo incho wiwa vufwe.
22 But now being freed from sinne, and made seruants vnto God, ye haue your fruit in holines, and the end, euerlasting life. (aiōnios )
Ulwakhuva lino vavavikhile mumbwa vokhe khuvutali ni mbivi na muvikhiwe vasuhiwa kwa Nguluve, mlieniseke mbuvalanche. Khuvusililo uwumi wasikunchoni. (aiōnios )
23 For the wages of sinne is death: but the gift of God is eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
Ulwakhuva uvivomba imbivi iekhigavilo kya mwene uvufwe, khange iekhikhungilwa ikya vuvule ikya Nguluve uwumi uwa kusila lusiku mwa Yesu Klisite untwe vetu. (aiōnios )
