Romans 5
1 Then being iustified by faith, we haue peace toward God through our Lord Iesus Christ.
Eya ta esi wotso afia na mí to xɔse me la, ŋutifafa le mí kple Mawu dome to míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo dzi,
2 By who also through faith, we haue had this accesse into this grace, wherein we stand, and reioyce vnder ye hope of the glory of God.
ame si me mɔnukpɔkpɔ su mía si le to xɔse me heyina ɖe amenuveve sia gbɔ si me míetsia tsitre ɖo la. Eye míeƒoa adegbe le Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ la ŋuti.
3 Neither that onely, but also we reioyce in tribulations, knowing that tribulation bringeth forth patience,
Ke menye esia ɖeɖe ko o, ke boŋ míeƒoa adegbe le míaƒe fukpekpewo me hã, elabena míenya be fukpekpe dzia dzidodo;
4 And patience experience, and experience hope,
ke dzidodo dzia kelili, eye kelili dzia mɔkpɔkpɔ.
5 And hope maketh not ashamed, because the loue of God is shed abroade in our heartes by the holy Ghost, which is giuen vnto vs.
Ke mɔkpɔkpɔ menana ŋu kpea ame o, elabena wotrɔ Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃ kɔ ɖe míaƒe dziwo me to Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe si wona mí la me.
6 For Christ, when we were yet of no strength, at his time died for the vngodly.
Kpɔ ɖa, le ɣeyiɣi nyuitɔ dzi, esi míeganye gbɔdzɔgbɔdzɔtɔwo ko la, Kristo va ku ɖe ame mavɔ̃mawuwo ta.
7 Doutles one will scarce die for a righteous man: but yet for a good man it may be that one dare die.
Elabena asesẽ hafi ame aɖe naku ɖe ame dzɔdzɔe ta, ke ame nyui la, ɖewohĩ ame aɖe ado dzi be yeaku ɖe eta.
8 But God setteth out his loue towards vs, seeing that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for vs.
Ke Mawu ɖe eya ŋutɔ ƒe lɔlɔ̃ fia mí le esia me be: Esi míeganye nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo la, Kristo ku ɖe mía ta.
9 Much more then, being now iustified by his blood, we shalbe saued from wrath through him.
Azɔ la, esi wotso afia na mí to eƒe ʋu me la, woaɖe mí tso Mawu ƒe dɔmedzoe me to eya amea me!
10 For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Sonne, much more being reconciled, we shalbe saued by his life,
Elabena esi míenye Mawu ƒe futɔwo tsã, eye míewɔ ɖeka kple Mawu to Via ƒe ku me la, míakpɔ ɖeɖe wu to eƒe agbe me.
11 And not onely so, but we also reioyce in God through our Lord Iesus Christ, by whom we haue nowe receiued the atonement.
Ke menye esia ɖeɖe ko o, ke boŋ míeƒoa adegbe le Mawu me hã, to míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo dzi, ame si me míewɔ ɖeka kple Mawu le azɔ.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sinne entred into ye world, and death by sinne, and so death went ouer all men: in who all men haue sinned.
Eya ta ale si nu vɔ̃ va xexea me to ame ɖeka dzi, eye ku va to nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ me la, nenema ke ku va amewo katã dzi, elabena wo katã wɔ nu vɔ̃.
13 For vnto the time of the Law was sinne in the worlde, but sinne is not imputed, while there is no lawe.
Nu vɔ̃ le xexea me hafi se la va, gake womebua nu vɔ̃ na ame aɖeke ne se meli o.
14 But death reigned from Adam to Moses, euen ouer them also that sinned not after the like maner of that transgression of Adam, which was the figure of him that was to come.
Gake ku ɖu fia tso Adam ƒe ɣeyiɣiwo dzi va se ɖe Mose ƒe ɣeyiɣiwo dzi, ɖe ame siwo mewɔ nu vɔ̃ si sɔ kple Adam ƒe sedzimawɔmawɔ o la dzi, ame si nye ame si gbɔna la ƒe kpɔɖeŋu.
15 But yet the gift is not so, as is the offence: for if through the offence of that one, many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man Iesus Christ, hath abounded vnto many.
Gake ale si vodada li la, menye nenema kee nye amenuveve ƒe nunana hã o; elabena ne ame geɖewo ku ɖe ame ɖeka ƒe vodada ta la, ekema Mawu ƒe amenuveve kple nunana si va to Yesu Kristo ƒe amenuveve me la sɔ gbɔ geɖe wu hegbã go ɖe ame geɖewo dzi.
16 Neither is the gift so, as that which entred in by one that sinned: for the fault came of one offence vnto condemnation: but the gift is of many offences to iustification.
Eye menye ame ɖeka si wɔ nu vɔ̃ la ta Mawu ƒe nunana la va ɖo o; elabena fɔbubu va to ʋɔnudɔdrɔ̃ ame ɖeka ƒe nu vɔ̃ me, ke wotso afia na ame geɖewo to amenuveve la me.
17 For if by the offence of one, death reigned through one, much more shall they which receiue that abundance of grace, and of that gift of that righteousnesse, reigne in life through one, that is, Iesus Christ.
Elabena nenye be to ame ɖeka ƒe vodada me ku ɖu fia to ame ɖeka ma dzi la, ekema ame siwo xɔ dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe amenuveve kple nunana ƒe agbɔsɔsɔ la, woaɖu fia geɖe wu le agbe me to Yesu Kristo ɖeka dzi.
18 Likewise then as by the offence of one, the fault came on all men to condemnation, so by the iustifying of one, the benefite abounded toward all men to the iustification of life.
Eya ta ale si to vodada ɖeka me fɔbubu va amewo katã dzi la, nenema ke agbe ƒe afiatsotso va na amewo katã to nu dzɔdzɔe ɖeka wɔwɔ me.
19 For as by one mans disobedience many were made sinners, so by that obedience of that one shall many also be made righteous.
Elabena ale si to ame ɖeka ƒe tomaɖomaɖo me ame geɖewo zu nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo la, nenema ke to ame ɖeka ƒe toɖoɖo me la, woawɔ ame geɖewo woazu ame dzɔdzɔewo.
20 Moreouer the Law entred thereupon that the offence shoulde abound: neuerthelesse, where sinne abounded, there grace abounded much more:
Se la va bena vodada la nasɔ gbɔ ɖe edzi. Gake afi si nu vɔ̃ sɔ gbɔ le la, amenuveve la sɔ gbɔ ɖe edzi wu,
21 That as sinne had reigned vnto death, so might grace also reigne by righteousnesse vnto eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
