Romans 2
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoeuer thou art that condemnest: for in that that thou condemnest another, thou condemnest thy selfe: for thou that condemnest, doest the same things.
ஹே பரதூ³ஷக மநுஷ்ய ய: கஸ்²சந த்வம்’ ப⁴வஸி தவோத்தரதா³நாய பந்தா² நாஸ்தி யதோ யஸ்மாத் கர்ம்மண: பரஸ்த்வயா தூ³ஷ்யதே தஸ்மாத் த்வமபி தூ³ஷ்யஸே, யதஸ்தம்’ தூ³ஷயந்நபி த்வம்’ தத்³வத்³ ஆசரஸி|
2 But we know that the iudgement of God is according to trueth, against them which comit such things.
கிந்த்வேதாத்³ரு’கா³சாரிப்⁴யோ யம்’ த³ண்ட³ம் ஈஸ்²வரோ நிஸ்²சிநோதி ஸ யதா²ர்த² இதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
3 And thinkest thou this, O thou man, that condemnest them which doe such thinges, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the iudgement of God?
அதஏவ ஹே மாநுஷ த்வம்’ யாத்³ரு’கா³சாரிணோ தூ³ஷயஸி ஸ்வயம்’ யதி³ தாத்³ரு’கா³சரஸி தர்ஹி த்வம் ஈஸ்²வரத³ண்டா³த் பலாயிதும்’ ஸ²க்ஷ்யஸீதி கிம்’ பு³த்⁴யஸே?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his bountifulnesse, and patience, and long sufferance, not knowing that the bountifulnesse of God leadeth thee to repentance?
அபரம்’ தவ மநஸ: பரிவர்த்தநம்’ கர்த்தும் இஸ்²வரஸ்யாநுக்³ரஹோ ப⁴வதி தந்ந பு³த்³த்⁴வா த்வம்’ கிம்’ ததீ³யாநுக்³ரஹக்ஷமாசிரஸஹிஷ்ணுத்வநிதி⁴ம்’ துச்சீ²கரோஷி?
5 But thou, after thine hardnesse, and heart that canot repent, heapest vp as a treasure vnto thy selfe wrath against the day of wrath, and of the declaration of the iust iudgement of God,
ததா² ஸ்வாந்த: கரணஸ்ய கடோ²ரத்வாத் கே²த³ராஹித்யாச்சேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ந்யாய்யவிசாரப்ரகாஸ²நஸ்ய க்ரோத⁴ஸ்ய ச தி³நம்’ யாவத் கிம்’ ஸ்வார்த²ம்’ கோபம்’ ஸஞ்சிநோஷி?
6 Who wil reward euery man according to his woorkes:
கிந்து ஸ ஏகைகமநுஜாய தத்கர்ம்மாநுஸாரேண ப்ரதிப²லம்’ தா³ஸ்யதி;
7 That is, to them which through patience in well doing, seeke glorie, and honour, and immortalitie, euerlasting life: (aiōnios g166)
வஸ்துதஸ்து யே ஜநா தை⁴ர்ய்யம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வா ஸத்கர்ம்ம குர்வ்வந்தோ மஹிமா ஸத்காரோ(அ)மரத்வஞ்சைதாநி ம்ரு’க³யந்தே தேப்⁴யோ(அ)நந்தாயு ர்தா³ஸ்யதி| (aiōnios g166)
8 But vnto them that are contentious and disobey the trueth, and obey vnrighteousnesse, shalbe indignation and wrath.
அபரம்’ யே ஜநா: ஸத்யத⁴ர்ம்மம் அக்³ரு’ஹீத்வா விபரீதத⁴ர்ம்மம் க்³ரு’ஹ்லந்தி தாத்³ரு’ஸா² விரோதி⁴ஜநா: கோபம்’ க்ரோத⁴ஞ்ச போ⁴க்ஷ்யந்தே|
9 Tribulation and anguish shalbe vpon the soule of euery man that doeth euill: of the Iewe first, and also of the Grecian.
ஆ யிஹூதி³நோ(அ)ந்யதே³ஸி²ந: பர்ய்யந்தம்’ யாவந்த: குகர்ம்மகாரிண: ப்ராணிந: ஸந்தி தே ஸர்வ்வே து³: க²ம்’ யாதநாஞ்ச க³மிஷ்யந்தி;
10 But to euery man that doeth good, shalbe glory, and honour, and peace: to the Iew first, and also to the Grecian.
கிந்து ஆ யிஹூதி³நோ பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸி²பர்ய்யந்தா யாவந்த: ஸத்கர்ம்மகாரிணோ லோகா: ஸந்தி தாந் ப்ரதி மஹிமா ஸத்கார: ஸா²ந்திஸ்²ச ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய விசாரே பக்ஷபாதோ நாஸ்தி|
12 For as many as haue sinned without the Lawe, shall perish also without the Lawe: and as many as haue sinned in the Lawe, shall be iudged by the Lawe,
அலப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ரை ர்யை: பாபாநி க்ரு’தாநி வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ராலப்³த⁴த்வாநுரூபஸ்தேஷாம்’ விநாஸோ² ப⁴விஷ்யதி; கிந்து லப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ரா யே பாபாந்யகுர்வ்வந் வ்யவஸ்தா²நுஸாராதே³வ தேஷாம்’ விசாரோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
13 (For the hearers of the Lawe are not righteous before God: but the doers of the Lawe shalbe iustified.
வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸ்²ரோதார ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸமீபே நிஷ்பாபா ப⁴விஷ்யந்தீதி நஹி கிந்து வ்யவஸ்தா²சாரிண ஏவ ஸபுண்யா ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
14 For when the Gentiles which haue not the Lawe, doe by nature, the things conteined in the Lawe, they hauing not the Lawe, are a Lawe vnto themselues,
யதோ (அ)லப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ரா பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸீ²யலோகா யதி³ ஸ்வபா⁴வதோ வ்யவஸ்தா²நுரூபாந் ஆசாராந் குர்வ்வந்தி தர்ஹ்யலப்³த⁴ஸா²ஸ்த்ரா: ஸந்தோ(அ)பி தே ஸ்வேஷாம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ரமிவ ஸ்வயமேவ ப⁴வந்தி|
15 Which shew the effect of the Lawe written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witnes, and their thoughts accusing one another, or excusing, )
தேஷாம்’ மநஸி ஸாக்ஷிஸ்வரூபே ஸதி தேஷாம்’ விதர்கேஷு ச கதா³ தாந் தோ³ஷிண: கதா³ வா நிர்தோ³ஷாந் க்ரு’தவத்ஸு தே ஸ்வாந்தர்லிகி²தஸ்ய வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ரஸ்ய ப்ரமாணம்’ ஸ்வயமேவ த³த³தி|
16 At the day when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ, according to my Gospel.
யஸ்மிந் தி³நே மயா ப்ரகாஸி²தஸ்ய ஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்யாநுஸாராத்³ ஈஸ்²வரோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டேந மாநுஷாணாம் அந்த: கரணாநாம்’ கூ³டா⁴பி⁴ப்ராயாந் த்⁴ரு’த்வா விசாரயிஷ்யதி தஸ்மிந் விசாரதி³நே தத் ப்ரகாஸி²ஷ்யதே|
17 Beholde, thou art called a Iewe, and restest in the Lawe, and gloriest in God,
பஸ்²ய த்வம்’ ஸ்வயம்’ யிஹூதீ³தி விக்²யாதோ வ்யவஸ்தோ²பரி விஸ்²வாஸம்’ கரோஷி,
18 And knowest his will, and triest the things that dissent from it, in that thou art instructed by the Lawe:
ஈஸ்²வரமுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஸ்வம்’ ஸ்²லாக⁴ஸே, ததா² வ்யவஸ்த²யா ஸி²க்ஷிதோ பூ⁴த்வா தஸ்யாபி⁴மதம்’ ஜாநாஸி, ஸர்வ்வாஸாம்’ கதா²நாம்’ ஸாரம்’ விவிம்’க்ஷே,
19 And persuadest thy selfe that thou art a guide of the blinde, a light of them which are in darkenesse,
அபரம்’ ஜ்ஞாநஸ்ய ஸத்யதாயாஸ்²சாகரஸ்வரூபம்’ ஸா²ஸ்த்ரம்’ மம ஸமீபே வித்³யத அதோ (அ)ந்த⁴லோகாநாம்’ மார்க³த³ர்ஸ²யிதா
20 An instructer of them which lacke discretion, a teacher of the vnlearned, which hast the forme of knowledge, and of the truth in ye Law.
திமிரஸ்தி²தலோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே தீ³ப்திஸ்வரூபோ(அ)ஜ்ஞாநலோகேப்⁴யோ ஜ்ஞாநதா³தா ஸி²ஸூ²நாம்’ ஸி²க்ஷயிதாஹமேவேதி மந்யஸே|
21 Thou therefore, which teachest another, teachest thou not thy selfe? thou that preachest, A man should not steale, doest thou steale?
பராந் ஸி²க்ஷயந் ஸ்வயம்’ ஸ்வம்’ கிம்’ ந ஸி²க்ஷயஸி? வஸ்துதஸ்²சௌர்ய்யநிஷேத⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²ம்’ ப்ரசாரயந் த்வம்’ கிம்’ ஸ்வயமேவ சோரயஸி?
22 Thou that saist, A man should not commit adulterie, doest thou commit adulterie? thou that abhorrest idoles, committest thou sacrilege?
ததா² பரதா³ரக³மநம்’ ப்ரதிஷேத⁴ந் ஸ்வயம்’ கிம்’ பரதா³ராந் க³ச்ச²ஸி? ததா² த்வம்’ ஸ்வயம்’ ப்ரதிமாத்³வேஷீ ஸந் கிம்’ மந்தி³ரஸ்ய த்³ரவ்யாணி ஹரஸி?
23 Thou that gloriest in the Lawe, through breaking the Lawe, dishonourest thou God?
யஸ்த்வம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²ம்’ ஸ்²லாக⁴ஸே ஸ த்வம்’ கிம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²ம் அவமத்ய நேஸ்²வரம்’ ஸம்மந்யஸே?
24 For ye Name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
ஸா²ஸ்த்ரே யதா² லிக²தி "பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸி²நாம்’ ஸமீபே யுஷ்மாகம்’ தோ³ஷாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய நாம்நோ நிந்தா³ ப⁴வதி| "
25 For circucision verely is profitable, if thou do the Lawe: but if thou be a transgressour of the Lawe, thy circumcision is made vncircumcision.
யதி³ வ்யவஸ்தா²ம்’ பாலயஸி தர்ஹி தவ த்வக்சே²த³க்ரியா ஸப²லா ப⁴வதி; யதி வ்யவஸ்தா²ம்’ லங்க⁴ஸே தர்ஹி தவ த்வக்சே²தோ³(அ)த்வக்சே²தோ³ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
26 Therefore if the vncircumcision keepe the ordinances of the Lawe, shall not his vncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
யதோ வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸா²ஸ்த்ராதி³ஷ்டத⁴ர்ம்மகர்ம்மாசாரீ புமாந் அத்வக்சே²தீ³ ஸந்நபி கிம்’ த்வக்சே²தி³நாம்’ மத்⁴யே ந க³ணயிஷ்யதே?
27 And shall not vncircumcision which is by nature (if it keepe the Lawe) condemne thee which by the letter and circumcision art a transgressour of the Lawe?
கிந்து லப்³த⁴ஸா²ஸ்த்ரஸ்²சி²ந்நத்வக் ச த்வம்’ யதி³ வ்யவஸ்தா²லங்க⁴நம்’ கரோஷி தர்ஹி வ்யவஸ்தா²பாலகா: ஸ்வாபா⁴விகாச்சி²ந்நத்வசோ லோகாஸ்த்வாம்’ கிம்’ ந தூ³ஷயிஷ்யந்தி?
28 For hee is not a Iewe, which is one outwarde: neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
தஸ்மாத்³ யோ பா³ஹ்யே யிஹூதீ³ ஸ யிஹூதீ³ நஹி ததா²ங்க³ஸ்ய யஸ்த்வக்சே²த³: ஸ த்வக்சே²தோ³ நஹி;
29 But he is a Iewe which is one within, and the circumcision is of the heart, in the spirite not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God.
கிந்து யோ ஜந ஆந்தரிகோ யிஹூதீ³ ஸ ஏவ யிஹூதீ³ அபரஞ்ச கேவலலிகி²தயா வ்யவஸ்த²யா ந கிந்து மாநஸிகோ யஸ்த்வக்சே²தோ³ யஸ்ய ச ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸா மநுஷ்யேப்⁴யோ ந பூ⁴த்வா ஈஸ்²வராத்³ ப⁴வதி ஸ ஏவ த்வக்சே²த³: |
