Romans 13
1 Let euery soule be subiect vnto the higher powers: for there is no power but of God: and the powers that be, are ordeined of God.
Aoka ny olona rehetra samy hanaiky ny fahefana lehibe. Fa tsy misy fahefana afa-tsy izay avy amin’ Andriamanitra; fa izay misy dia voatendrin’ Andriamanitra.
2 Whosoeuer therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist, shall receiue to themselues condemnation.
Koa izay manohitra ny fahefana dia manohitra ny voatendrin’ Andriamanitra; ary izay manohitra dia hahazo fahamelohana.
3 For Magistrates are not to be feared for good workes, but for euill. Wilt thou then bee without feare of the power? doe well: so shalt thou haue praise of the same.
Fa ny mpanapaka dia tsy mba tahotry ny manao tsara, fa ny manao ratsy ihany. Ary ny tsy hatahotra ny fahefana va no tianao? Ataovy ary izay tsara, dia hahazo dera avy aminy ianao;
4 For he is ye minister of God for thy wealth, but if thou do euill, feare: for he beareth not the sworde for nought: for he is the minister of God to take vengeance on him that doeth euill.
fa mpanompon’ Andriamanitra izy hahatsara anao. Fa raha ratsy kosa no nataonao, dia matahora’ fa tsy entiny foana tsy akory ny sabatra; fa mpanompon’ Andriamanitra izy, dia mpamaly handatsaka fahatezerana amin’ izay manao ratsy.
5 Wherefore ye must bee subiect, not because of wrath only, but also for conscience sake.
Koa tsy maintsy manaiky ny olona, nefa tsy noho ny fahatezerana ihany, fa noho ny fieritreretana koa.
6 For, for this cause ye pay also tribute: for they are Gods ministers, applying themselues for the same thing.
Fa noho izany no andoavanareo vola hetra; fa mpanompon’ Andriamanitra mitandrina izany zavatra izany indrindra ireny.
7 Giue to all men therefore their duetie: tribute, to whome yee owe tribute: custome, to whom custome: feare, to whome feare: honour, to whom ye owe honour.
Mandoava amin’ izy rehetra izay tokony ho azy avy: vola hetra ho an’ izay tokony handoavan-ketra, fadin-tseranana ho an’ izay tokony handoavana fadin-tseranana’ tahotra ho an’ izay tokony hatahorana, haja ho an’ izay tokony hohajaina.
8 Owe nothing to any man, but to loue one another: for he that loueth another, hath fulfilled the Lawe.
Aza avela hisy tsy voaloa na amin’ iza na amin’ iza, afa-tsy ny fifankatiavanareo ihany; fa izay tia ny namany dia efa nahatanteraka ny lalàna.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adulterie, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steale, Thou shalt not beare false witnes, Thou shalt not couet: and if there be any other commandement, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, euen in this, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe.
Fa ny hoe: Aza mijangajanga, aza mamono olona, aza mangalatra, aza mitsiriritra zavatr’ olona, mbamin’ izay didy hafa rehetra, dia samy efa ao anatin’ izao teny izao hoe: Tiava ny namanao tahaka ny tenanao.
10 Loue doeth not euill to his neighbour: therefore is loue the fulfilling of the Lawe.
Ny fitiavana tsy manisy ratsy ny namana; koa dia ny fitiavana no fahatanterahana ny lalàna.
11 And that, considering the season, that it is now time that we should arise from sleepe: for now is our saluation neerer, then when we beleeued it.
Ary tokony hanao izany indrindra isika, satria fantatsika ny andro, fa ankehitriny izao dia ora tokony hifohazanareo amin’ ny fahatoriana; fa ankehitriny ny famonjena antsika dia akaiky noho ny tamin’ ny andro vao ninoantsika.
12 The night is past, and the day is at hande, let vs therefore cast away the workes of darkenesse, and let vs put on the armour of light,
Efa ho lasa ny alina, ka efa mby akaiky kokoa ny andro, koa aoka hariantsika ny asan’ ny maizina ka hitafiantsika ny fiadian’ ny mazava.
13 So that wee walke honestly, as in the day: not in gluttonie, and drunkennesse, neither in chambering and wantonnes, nor in strife and enuying.
Aoka isika hitondra tena tsara toy ny amin’ ny andro; tsy amin’ ny filalaovan-dratsy, na amin’ ny fahamamoana, tsy amin’ ny fijangajangana, na amin’ ny fijejojejoana, tsy amin’ ny fifandirana, na amin’ ny fialonana.
14 But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.
