< Romans 10 >
1 Brethren, mine hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saued.
Khatben ah manuca rhoek, khangnah ham amih yueng Pathen taengah ka thinko kah kolonah tah rhenbihnah ni.
2 For I beare them record, that they haue the zeale of God, but not according to knowledge.
Pathen kah kohlopnah a khueh uh te amih ham ka phong pah. Tedae mingnah nen moenih.
3 For they, being ignorant of the righteousnes of God, and going about to stablish their owne righteousnes, haue not submitted themselues to the righteousnes of God.
Pathen kah duengnah vik te a mangvawt uh tih amah kah duengnah thoh ham ni a toem uh. Te dongah Pathen kah duengnah dongah boe a ngai uh moenih.
4 For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousnes vnto euery one that beleeueth.
Te dongah aka tangnah rhoek boeih te duengnah ham olkhueng kah a bawtnah tah Khrih ni.
5 For Moses thus describeth the righteousnes which is of the Lawe, That the man which doeth these things, shall liue thereby.
Moses loh olkhueng kah duengnah kawng te a daek coeng. Te tla a saii daengah ni hlang loh te nen te a hing eh.
6 But the righteousnes which is of faith, speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heauen? (that is to bring Christ from aboue)
Tedae tangnah kah duengnah loh, “Na thinko ah, 'Unim Vaan la aka luei eh? Te tah Khrih aka khuen la om.
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deepe? (that is to bring Christ againe from the dead) (Abyssos )
Te phoeiah, 'Unim tangrhom dung la aka suntla eh? Te duek lamkah hang khuen ham tila Khrih ni, 'ti boeh,” a ti tangloeng. (Abyssos )
8 But what sayth it? The worde is neere thee, euen in thy mouth, and in thine heart. This is the worde of faith which we preach.
Tedae balae n'ti lah eh? Olka te na taengah, na ka ah, na thinko ah om. Tekah aka om tangnah olka la ka hoe uh te.
9 For if thou shalt confesse with thy mouth the Lord Iesus, and shalt beleeue in thine heart, that God raised him vp from the dead, thou shalt be saued:
Boeipa Jesuh te na ka neh na phong tih duek lamkah anih aka thoh Pathen te na thinko ah na tangnah atah na daem ni.
10 For with the heart man beleeueth vnto righteousnes, and with the mouth man confesseth to saluation.
Thinko neh a tangnah te duengnah la, ka neh a phong te khangnah la om.
11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoeuer beleeueth in him, shall not be ashamed.
Te dongah cacim loh, “Amah te aka tangnah boeih tah yahpok mahpawh.
12 For there is no difference betweene the Iewe and the Grecian: for he that is Lord ouer all, is rich vnto all, that call on him.
Judah neh Greek laklo ah hlihloehnah a om moenih. Boeipa amah tah hlang boeih kah ni. Amah aka phoei rhoek boeih taengah a khuehtawn sak.
13 For whosoeuer shall call vpon the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued.
Te dongah boeipa ming aka khue boeih te tah daem ni.
14 But how shall they call on him, in whome they haue not beleeued? and how shall they beleeue in him, of whom they haue not heard? and howe shall they heare without a preacher?
Tedae a tangnah uh mueh la amah te metlam a khue uh eh? A yaak uh mueh la amah te metlam a tangnah uh eh? A hoe mueh la metlam a yaak uh eh?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, Howe beautifull are the feete of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
A tueih uh pawt atah metlam a hoe uh eh? A daek vanbangla hnothen te aka phong rhoek kah a kho tah sawtthen tangkik.
16 But they haue not all obeyed ye Gospel: for Esaias saith, Lord, who hath beleeued our report?
Tedae olthangthen te hlang boeih loh a ngai uh moenih. Isaiah loh, “Boeipa kaimih kah olthang he u long a tangnah,” a ti.
17 Then faith is by hearing, and hearing by the worde of God.
Te dongah tangnah tah hnavue lamloh, hnavue tah Khrih kah olka lamloh ha om.
18 But I demaund, Haue they not heard? No doubt their sound went out through all the earth, and their wordes into the endes of the worlde.
Tedae, “A yaak uh moenih a?” ka ti. Amih kah oldi loh diklai pum la cet tih, amih kah olka loh lunglai a bawtnah due a pha.
19 But I demaund, Did not Israel knowe God? First Moses sayth, I will prouoke you to enuie by a nation that is not my nation, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
Tedae, “Israel loh ming pawt nim?” ka ti. Moses loh lamhma la, “Kai tah namtom pawt nen khaw nangmih kan thatlai thil ni. Lungmong namtom rhangneh nangmih kan sai sak ni,” a ti.
20 And Esaias is bolde, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not, and haue bene made manifest to them that asked not after me.
Te dongah Isaiah tah a rhalthen tih, “Kai aka toem pawt rhoek loh m'hmuh tih kai aka dawt pawt rhoek taengah aka phoe la ka om,” a ti.
21 And vnto Israel hee sayth, All the day long haue I stretched foorth mine hand vnto a disobedient, and gainesaying people.
Te phoeiah Israel taengah, “Ka kut te hnin at puet pilnam ol aek neh boekoek taengah ka phuel coeng,” a ti nah.
