Revelation 5
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sate vpon the throne, a Booke written within, and on the backside, sealed with seuen seales.
Tôi thấy trên tay phải Đấng ngồi trên ngai một cuộn sách ghi chép cả hai mặt, niêm phong bằng bảy ấn.
2 And I sawe a strong Angell which preached with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open ye booke, and to loose the seales thereof?
Tôi lại thấy một thiên sứ uy dũng lớn tiếng công bố: “Ai xứng đáng tháo ấn và mở cuộn sách này ra?”
3 And no man in heauen, nor in earth, neither vnder the earth, was able to open the Booke, neither to looke thereon.
Nhưng không một ai trên trời, dưới đất hay bên dưới đất có thể mở cuộn sách ra và đọc được.
4 Then I wept much, because no man was foud worthy to open, and to reade the Booke, neither to looke thereon.
Tôi khóc cay đắng vì không thấy ai xứng đáng mở và đọc cuộn sách này.
5 And one of the Elders saide vnto me, Weepe not: beholde, that Lion which is of the tribe of Iuda, that roote of Dauid, hath obteined to open the Booke, and to loose the seuen seales thereof.
Một trong hai mươi bốn trưởng lão bảo tôi: “Đừng khóc nữa. Này, sư tử đại tộc Giu-đa, chồi lộc Đa-vít, Đấng đã toàn thắng, có thể mở cuộn sách và mở bảy ấn.”
6 Then I behelde, and loe, in the middes of the throne, and of the foure beasts, and in the mids of the Elders, stoode a Labe as though he had bene killed, which had seuen hornes, and seuen eyes, which are the seuen spirites of God, sent into all the world.
Tôi nhìn thấy Chiên Con đứng trước ngai, chung quanh là bốn sinh vật và các trưởng lão. Chiên Con trông như đã bị giết, có bảy sừng và bảy mắt, là bảy vị Thần Linh của Đức Chúa Trời sai xuống khắp thế giới.
7 And hee came, and tooke the Booke out of the right hand of him that sate vpon the throne.
Chiên Con bước tới lấy cuộn sách trong tay phải Đấng ngồi trên ngai.
8 And when he had taken ye Booke, ye foure beasts and the foure and twenty Elders fel downe before the Lambe, hauing euery one harps and golden vials full of odours, which are the praiers of the Saintes,
Ngài vừa lấy cuộn sách, bốn sinh vật và hai mươi bốn trưởng lão đều quỳ xuống trước mặt Chiên Con. Mỗi vị nâng một chiếc đàn hạc và một bát vàng đầy hương liệu, là những lời cầu nguyện của các thánh đồ.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthie to take the Booke, and to open the seales thereof, because thou wast killed, and hast redeemed vs to God by thy blood out of euery kinred, and tongue, and people, and nation,
Họ đồng hát một bài ca mới: “Ngài xứng đáng lấy cuộn sách, tháo các ấn và mở ra. Vì Ngài đã chịu chết để lấy máu mình chuộc về cho Đức Chúa Trời những người thuộc mọi dòng giống, dân tộc, và quốc gia.
10 And hast made vs vnto our God Kings and Priests, and we shall reigne on the earth.
Ngài khiến họ trở thành công dân của Vương Quốc Chúa, làm thầy tế lễ của Đức Chúa Trời. Và họ sẽ cai trị trên đất.”
11 Then I behelde, and I heard the voice of many Angels round about the throne, and about the beastes and the Elders, and there were ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousand thousands,
Tôi lại nhìn và nghe tiếng hát của hàng triệu thiên sứ đứng bao quanh ngai, bốn sinh vật và các trưởng lão.
12 Saying with a loude voice, Worthie is the Lambe that was killed to receiue power, and riches, and wisdome, and strength, and honour, and glory, and praise.
Các thiên sứ hát lớn tiếng: “Chiên Con đã chịu giết— đáng được uy quyền, giàu có, khôn ngoan, sức mạnh, vinh dự, vinh quang, và chúc tụng.”
13 And al the creatures which are in heauen, and on the earth, and vnder the earth, and in the sea, and al that are in them, heard I, saying, Praise, and honour, and glory, and power be vnto him, that sitteth vpon the throne, and vnto the Lambe for euermore. (aiōn g165)
Tôi lại nghe tất cả tạo vật trên trời, dưới đất, bên dưới đất, và trong biển đều lên tiếng: “Nguyện chúc tụng, vinh dự, vinh quang và uy quyền thuộc về Đấng ngồi trên ngai và thuộc về Chiên Con đời đời vô tận.” (aiōn g165)
14 And the foure beasts said, Amen, and the foure and twentie Elders fell downe and worshipped him that liueth for euermore.
Bốn sinh vật tung hô: “A-men!” và các trưởng lão quỳ xuống thờ lạy Chiên Con.
