Revelation 14
1 Then I looked, and lo, a Lambe stood on mount Sion, and with him an hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, hauing his Fathers Name written in their foreheads.
Je regardai, et je vis l'Agneau qui se tenait sur la montagne de Sion, et avec lui cent quarante-quatre mille personnes, qui avaient son nom et le nom de son Père écrits sur leurs fronts.
2 And I heard a voyce from heauen, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder: and I heard the voyce of harpers harping with their harpes.
Puis j'entendis une voix qui venait du ciel, semblable au bruit des grosses eaux et au bruit d'un grand tonnerre; et la voix que j'entendis était comme le son des harpes touchées par des harpistes:
3 And they sung as it were a newe song before the throne, and before the foure beasts, and the Elders: and no man could learne that song, but the hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, which were bought from the earth.
ils chantent un cantique nouveau devant le trône et devant les quatre animaux et les vieillards. Et personne ne pouvait apprendre ce cantique, si ce n'est les cent quarante-quatre mille, qui ont été rachetés de la terre.
4 These are they, which are not defiled with women: for they are virgins: these follow the Lambe whithersoeuer he goeth: these are bought from men, being the first fruites vnto God, and to the Lambe.
Ceux-là ne se sont point souillés avec des femmes; car ils sont vierges. Ceux-là suivent l'Agneau partout où il va. Ils ont été rachetés parmi les hommes, comme des prémices consacrées à Dieu et à l'Agneau;
5 And in their mouthes was found no guile: for they are without spot before the throne of God.
et dans leur bouche, il ne s'est point trouvé de mensonge, car ils sont sans tache.
6 Then I sawe another Angel flie in the mids of heauen, hauing an euerlasting Gospel, to preach vnto them that dwell on the earth, and to euery nation, and kinred, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios g166)
Après cela, je vis un autre ange, qui volait au milieu du ciel, portant l'Évangile éternel, pour l'annoncer à ceux qui habitent sur la terre, à toute nation, à toute tribu, à toute langue et à tout peuple. (aiōnios g166)
7 Saying with a loude voyce, Feare God, and giue glory to him: for the houre of his iugdement is come: and woriship him that made heauen and earth, and the sea, and the fountaines of waters.
Il disait d'une voix forte: Craignez Dieu, et donnez-lui gloire; car l'heure de son jugement est venue. Adorez Celui qui a fait le ciel, la terre, la mer et les sources d'eaux!
8 And there followed another Angel, saying, Babylon that great citie is fallen, it is fallen: for she made all nations to drinke of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Un autre ange, un second, le suivit, qui disait: Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande, qui a abreuvé toutes les nations du vin de son impudicité effrénée.
9 And the third Angel followed them, saying with a loude voyce, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receiue his marke in his forehead, or on his hand,
Un autre ange, un troisième, les suivit, disant d'une voix forte: Si quelqu'un adore la bête et son image, et qu'il en prenne la marque sur le front ou sur la main,
10 The same shall drinke of the wine of ye wrath of God, yea, of the pure wine, which is powred into the cup of his wrath, and he shalbe tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy Angels, and before the Lambe.
il boira, lui aussi, du vin du courroux de Dieu, versé pur dans la coupe de sa colère, et il sera tourmenté dans le feu et le soufre, en présence des saints anges et en présence de l'Agneau.
11 And the smoke of their torment shall ascend euermore: and they shall haue no rest day nor night, which worship the beast and his image, and whosoeuer receiueth the print of his name. (aiōn g165)
Et la fumée de leur tourment monte aux siècles des siècles. Jour et nuit, il n'y aura aucun repos, ni pour ceux qui adorent la bête et son image, ni pour ceux qui prennent la marque de son nom. (aiōn g165)
12 Here is the patience of Saints: here are they that keepe the commandements of God, and the fayth of Iesus.
Ici se montre la patience des saints: ils gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi en Jésus.
13 Then I heard a voyce from heauen, saying vnto me, Write, The dead which die in the Lord, are fully blessed. Euen so sayth the Spirit: for they rest from their labours, and their workes follow them.
J'entendis une voix venant du ciel, qui disait: Écris: Heureux, dès à présent, les morts qui meurent dans le Seigneur! Oui, dit l'Esprit; car ils se reposent de leurs travaux, et leurs oeuvres les suivent.
14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloude, and vpon the cloude one sitting like vnto the Sonne of man, hauing on his head a golden crowne, and in his hand a sharpe sickle.
Je regardai, et je vis une nuée blanche, et sur cette nuée était assis quelqu'un qui ressemblait à un fils d'homme: il avait sur la tête une couronne d'or, et à la main une faucille tranchante.
15 And another Angel came out of the Temple, crying with a loude voyce to him that sate on the cloude, Thrust in thy sickle and reape: for the time is come to reape: for the haruest of the earth is ripe.
Un autre ange sortit du temple, criant d'une voix forte à celui qui était assis sur la nuée: Lance ta faucille et moissonne; car le temps de moissonner est venu, la moisson de la terre est mûre.
16 And he that sate on the cloude, thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
Alors celui qui était assis sur la nuée lança sa faucille sur la terre, et la terre fut moissonnée.
17 Then an other Angel came out of the Temple, which is in heauen, hauing also a sharpe sickle.
Un autre ange sortit du temple qui est dans le ciel, tenant, lui aussi, une faucille tranchante.
18 And another Angel came out from the altar, which had power ouer fire, and cryed with a loude crie to him that had the sharpe sickle, and sayd, Thrust in thy sharpe sickle, and gather the clusters of the vineyard of the earth: for her grapes are ripe.
Un autre ange qui avait pouvoir sur le feu, sortit de l'autel. Il cria, d'une voix forte, à celui qui tenait la faucille tranchante, et il lui dit: Lance ta faucille tranchante, et vendange les grappes de la vigne de la terre; car ses raisins sont mûrs.
19 And the Angel thrust in his sharpe sickle on the earth, and cut downe the vines of the vineyard of the earth, and cast them into that great wine presse of the wrath of God.
L'ange lança sa faucille sur la terre et vendangea la vigne de la terre; et il jeta la vendange dans la grande cuve de la colère de Dieu.
20 And the wine presse was troden without the citie, and blood came out of the wine presse, vnto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and sixe hundreth furlongs.
La cuve fut foulée hors de la ville; et de la cuve il sortit du sang qui montait jusqu'aux freins des chevaux, sur un espace de mille six cents stades.
