Revelation 12
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heauen: A woman clothed with the sunne, and the moone was vnder her feete, and vpon her head a crowne of twelue starres.
Und es erschien ein groß Zeichen im Himmel: ein Weib, mit der Sonne bekleidet, und der Mond unter ihren Füßen und auf ihrem Haupt eine Krone von zwölf Sternen.
2 And she was with childe, and cried traueiling in birth, and was pained readie to be deliuered.
Und sie war schwanger und schrie und war in Kindesnöten und hatte große Qual zur Geburt.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaue: for beholde, a great red dragon hauing seuen heads, and ten hornes, and seuen crownes vpon his heads:
Und es erschien ein ander Zeichen im Himmel; und siehe, ein großer, roter Drache, der hatte sieben Häupter und zehn Hörner und auf seinen Häuptern sieben Kronen.
4 And his taile drew the thirde part of the starres of heauen, and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman, which was ready to be deliuered, to deuoure her childe, when shee had brought it foorth.
Und sein Schwanz zog den dritten Teil der Sterne und warf sie auf die Erde. Und der Drache trat vor das Weib, die gebären sollte, auf daß, wenn sie geboren hätte, er ihr Kind fräße.
5 So shee brought foorth a man childe, which should rule all nations with a rod of yron: and that her childe was taken vp vnto God and to his throne.
Und sie gebar einen Sohn, ein Knäblein, der alle Heiden sollte weiden mit der eisernen Rute; und ihr Kind ward entrückt zu Gott und seinem Stuhl.
6 And the woman fled into wildernes where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feede her there a thousande, two hundreth and three score dayes.
Und das Weib entfloh in die Wüste, da sie hatte einen Ort bereit von Gott, daß sie daselbst ernähret würde tausend zweihundertundsechzig Tage.
7 And there was a battell in heauen, Michael and his Angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels.
Und es erhub sich ein Streit im Himmel: Michael und seine Engel stritten mit dem Drachen. Und der Drache stritt und seine Engel
8 But they preuailed not, neither was their place found any more in heauen.
und siegeten nicht; auch ward ihre Stätte nicht mehr funden im Himmel.
9 And the great dragon, that olde serpent, called the deuil and Satan, was cast out, which deceiueth all the world: he was euen cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Und es ward ausgeworfen der große Drache, die alte Schlange, die da heißt der Teufel und Satanas, der die ganze Welt verführet; und ward geworfen auf die Erde; und seine Engel wurden auch dahin geworfen.
10 Then I heard a loude voyce in heauen, saying, Now is saluation, and strength, and the kingdome of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast downe, which accused them before our God day and night.
Und ich hörete eine große Stimme, die sprach im Himmel: Nun ist das Heil und die Kraft und das Reich und die Macht unsers Gottes, seines Christus worden, weil der Verkläger unserer Brüder verworfen ist, der sie verklaget Tag und Nacht vor Gott.
11 But they ouercame him by that blood of that Lambe, and by that worde of their testimonie, and they loued not their liues vnto the death.
Und sie haben ihn überwunden durch des Lammes Blut und durch das Wort ihres Zeugnisses; und haben ihr Leben nicht geliebet bis an den Tod.
12 Therefore reioyce, ye heauens, and ye that dwell in them. Wo to the inhabitants of the earth, and of the sea: for the deuill is come downe vnto you, which hath great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.
Darum freuet euch, ihr Himmel, und die darinnen wohnen! Wehe denen, die auf Erden wohnen und auf dem Meer; denn der Teufel kommt zu euch hinab und hat einen großen Zorn und weiß, daß er wenig Zeit hat.
13 And when the dragon sawe that hee was cast vnto the earth, he persecuted the woman which had brought forth the man childe.
Und da der Drache sah, daß er verworfen war auf die Erde, verfolgete er das Weib, die das Knäblein geboren hatte.
14 But to the woman were giuen two wings of a great eagle, that she might flie into the wildernes, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and halfe a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Und es wurden dem Weibe zween Flügel gegeben wie eines großen Adlers, daß sie in die Wüste flöge an ihren Ort, da sie ernähret würde eine Zeit und zwo Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit vor dem Angesichte der Schlange.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water after the woman, like a flood, that he might cause her to be caried away of the flood.
Und die Schlange schoß nach dem Weibe aus ihrem Munde ein Wasser wie ein Strom, daß er sie ersäufete.
16 But the earth holpe the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swalowed vp the flood, which the dragon had cast out of his mouth.
Aber die Erde half dem Weibe und tat ihren Mund auf und verschlang den Strom, den der Drache aus seinem Munde schoß.
17 Then the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went and made warre with the remnant of her seede, which keepe the comaundements of God, and haue the testimonie of Iesus Christ.
Und der Drache ward zornig über das Weib und ging hin, zu streiten mit den übrigen von ihrem Samen, die da Gottes Gebote halten und haben das Zeugnis Jesu Christi.
