Revelation 11
1 Then was giuen me a reede, like vnto a rod, and the Angel stoode by, saying, Rise and mete the Temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
E foi-me dada uma cana semelhante a uma vara [de medir]; e o anjo ficou [de pé], dizendo: “Levanta-te, e mede o templo de Deus, e o altar, e os que nele adoram.
2 But the court which is without the temple cast out, and mete it not: for it is giuen vnto the Gentiles, and the holy citie shall they treade vnder foote, two and fourtie moneths.
Mas deixa fora ao pátio, que [está] fora do templo, e não o meças; porque ele foi dado às nações; e pisarão a santa cidade por quarenta e dois meses.
3 But I wil giue power vnto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecie a thousande two hundreth and threescore dayes, clothed in sackcloth.
E eu darei [autoridade] às minhas duas testemunhas, e elas profetizarão por mil duzentos e sessenta dias, vestidas de sacos.”
4 These are two oliue trees, and two candlestickes, standing before the God of the earth.
Estas são as duas oliveiras, e os dois castiçais, que estão diante do Senhor da terra.
5 And if any man wil hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouthes, and deuoureth their enemies: for if any man would hurt the, thus must he be killed.
E se alguém quiser lhes maltratar, fogo sai da sua boca, e devora aos inimigos delas; e se alguém quiser lhes maltratar, é necessário que assim seja morto.
6 These haue power to shut heauen, that it raine not in the dayes of their prophecying, and haue power ouer waters to turne them into blood, and to smite the earth with all maner plagues, as often as they will.
Estas têm autoridade para fechar o céu, para que não chova nos dias da sua profecia; e têm poder sobre as águas para as transformar em sangue, e para ferir a terra com toda praga, tantas vezes quantas quiserem.
7 And when they haue finished their testimonie, the beast that commeth out of the bottomlesse pit, shall make warre against them, and shall ouercome them, and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
E quando elas terminarem seu testemunho, a besta, que sobe do abismo, fará guerra contra elas, e as vencerá, e as matará. (Abyssos g12)
8 And their corpses shall lie in the streetes of the great citie, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord also was crucified.
E os cadáveres delas [jazerão] na praça da grande cidade, que espiritualmente se chama Sodoma e Egito, onde nosso Senhor também foi crucificado.
9 And they of the people and kinreds, and tongues, and Gentiles shall see their corpses three dayes and an halfe, and shall not suffer their carkeises to be put in graues.
E os dos povos, tribos, línguas e nações verão os cadáveres delas por três dias e meio, e não permitirão que os cadáveres delas sejam postos em sepulcros.
10 And they that dwell vpon the earth, shall reioyce ouer them and be glad, and shall sende giftes one to an other: for these two Prophets vexed them that dwelt on the earth.
E os que habitam sobre a terra se alegrarão sobre elas, e ficarão contentes, e enviarão presentes uns aos outros, porque estes dois profetas atormentarão aos que habitam sobre a terra.
11 But after three dayes and an halfe, the spirit of life comming from God, shall enter into them, and they shall stande vp vpon their feete: and great feare shall come vpon them which sawe them.
E depois [daqueles] três dias e meio, entrou nelas o espírito de vida de Deus, e se puseram sobre seus pés, e caiu grande temor sobre os que as viram.
12 And they shall heare a great voyce from heauen, saying vnto them, Come vp hither. And they shall ascend vp to heauen in a cloude, and their enemies shall see them.
E elas ouviram uma grande voz do céu lhes dizendo: “Subi aqui!” E elas subiram ao céu em uma nuvem; e seus inimigos as viram.
13 And the same houre shall there bee a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the citie shall fall, and in the earthquake shalbe slaine in nomber seuen thousande: and the remnant were sore feared, and gaue glorie to the God of heauen.
E naquela [mesma] hora houve um grande terremoto, e a décima [parte] da cidade caiu, e no terremoto foram mortos sete mil nomes humanos; e os restantes ficaram muito atemorizados, e deram glória ao Deus do céu.
14 The second woe is past, and beholde, the third woe will come anon.
O segundo ai [já] passou; eis que o terceiro ai logo vem.
15 And the seuenth Angell blewe the trumpet, and there were great voyces in heauen, saying, The kingdomes of this worlde are our Lordes, and his Christes, and he shall reigne for euermore. (aiōn g165)
E o sétimo anjo tocou a trombeta, e houve grandes vozes no céu, dizendo: “Os reinos do mundo se tornaram do nosso Senhor, e do seu Cristo, e ele reinará para todo o sempre.” (aiōn g165)
16 Then the foure and twentie Elders, which sate before God on their seates, fell vpon their faces, and worshipped God,
E os vinte e quatro anciãos, que estão sentados diante de Deus em seus tronos, prostraram-se sobre seus rostos, e adoraram a Deus,
17 Saying, We giue thee thankes, Lord God almightie, Which art, and Which wast, and Which art to come: for thou hast receiued thy great might, and hast obteined thy kingdome.
dizendo: “Graças te damos, Senhor Deus, o Todo-Poderoso, o que é, e que era; porque tomaste o teu grande poder, e tens reinado;
18 And the Gentiles were angrie, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they shoulde be iudged, and that thou shouldest giue reward vnto thy seruants the Prophets, and to the Saintes, and to them that feare thy Name, to small and great, and shouldest destroy them, which destroy the earth.
E as nações se iraram, porém veio a tua ira, e o tempo dos mortos, para serem julgados, e para tu dares a recompensa aos teus servos, os profetas, e aos santos, e aos que temem o teu nome, a pequenos e a grandes; e para destruir os que destroem a terra.”
19 Then the Temple of God was opened in heauen, and there was seene in his Temple the Arke of his couenant: and there were lightnings, and voyces, and thundrings, and earthquake, and much haile.
E o templo de Deus se abriu no céu, e a arca de seu pacto foi vista no seu templo; e houve relâmpagos, vozes, trovões, terremotos, e grande queda de granizo.
