< Psalms 98 >

1 A Psalme. Sing vnto the Lord a newe song: for hee hath done marueilous things: his right hand, and his holy arme haue gotten him the victorie.
A psalm. Sing a new song to the Lord, for he has done wonders; his right hand and holy arm have won him the victory.
2 The Lord declared his saluation: his righteousnes hath he reueiled in the sight of ye nations.
The Lord has made his victory known, and revealed to the eyes of the nations his righteousness.
3 He hath remembred his mercy and his trueth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth haue seene the saluation of our God.
Mindful he was of his kindness to Jacob, faithful he was to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.
4 All the earth, sing ye loude vnto the Lord: crie out and reioyce, and sing prayses.
Shout, all the earth, to the Lord: break into cries and music.
5 Sing prayse to the Lord vpon the harpe, euen vpon the harpe with a singing voyce.
Play on the lyre to the Lord, on the lyre and with loud melody.
6 With shalmes and sound of trumpets sing loude before the Lord the King.
With trumpet and sound of horn, shout before the king.
7 Let the sea roare, and all that therein is, the world, and they that dwell therein.
Let the sea and its fulness roar, the world and the dwellers upon it.
8 Let the floods clap their hands, and let the mountaines reioyce together
Let the streams clap their hands, let the hills shout for gladness together
9 Before the Lord: for he is come to iudge the earth: with righteousnesse shall hee iudge the world, and the people with equitie.
before the Lord for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice and the nations with equity.
