Psalms 96

1 Sing vnto the Lord a newe song: sing vnto the Lord, all the earth.

Nyanyikanlah lagu baru bagi TUHAN! Bernyanyilah bagi TUHAN, hai bumi seluruhnya!

2 Sing vnto the Lord, and prayse his Name: declare his saluation from day to day.

Bernyanyilah bagi TUHAN dan pujilah Dia; setiap hari siarkanlah kabar gembira bahwa Ia telah menyelamatkan kita.

3 Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.

Ceritakanlah keagungan-Nya kepada bangsa-bangsa, dan perbuatan-perbuatan-N yang perkasa kepada umat manusia.

4 For the Lord is great and much to be praysed: he is to be feared aboue all gods.

Sebab besarlah TUHAN, dan sangat terpuji, harus ditakuti lebih dari segala dewa.

5 For all the gods of the people are idoles: but the Lord made the heauens.

Dewa-dewa bangsa lain hanya patung berhala, tetapi TUHAN adalah pencipta angkasa raya.

6 Strength and glory are before him: power and beautie are in his Sanctuarie.

Ia diliputi keagungan dan kemuliaan, Rumah-Nya penuh kuasa dan keindahan.

7 Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glory and power.

Pujilah TUHAN, hai umat manusia, pujilah keagungan dan kekuatan-Nya!

8 Giue vnto the Lord the glory of his Name: bring an offering, and enter into his courtes.

Pujilah nama-Nya yang mulia, dan bawalah kurban ke dalam Rumah-Nya.

9 Worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie: tremble before him all the earth.

Sembahlah TUHAN dengan mengenakan pakaian ibadat! Gemetarlah di hadapan-Nya, hai seluruh dunia!

10 Say among the nations, The Lord reigneth: surely the world shalbe stable, and not moue, and he shall iudge the people in righteousnesse.

Beritakanlah kepada bangsa-bangsa, "TUHAN itu Raja! Bumi kukuh tak tergoyahkan; Ia akan menghakimi bangsa-bangsa dengan adil."

11 Let the heauens reioyce, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roare, and all that therein is.

Bergembiralah, hai langit dan bumi! Bergemuruhlah hai laut dan semua isinya!

12 Let the field be ioyfull, and all that is in it: let all the trees of the wood then reioyce

Bersukacitalah, hai padang dan segala tanamannya! Pohon-pohon di hutan akan bersorak-sorai.

13 Before the Lord: for he commeth, for he cometh to iudge the earth: he wil iudge the world with righteousnes, and the people in his trueth.

Sebab TUHAN datang memerintah di bumi, Ia akan menghakimi bangsa-bangsa dengan adil dan jujur.
