1 Sing vnto the Lord a newe song: sing vnto the Lord, all the earth.
Énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak új éneket, énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak mind a földön levők!
2 Sing vnto the Lord, and prayse his Name: declare his saluation from day to day.
Énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak, áldjátok nevét, hirdessétek napról napra segitségét!
3 Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.
Beszéljétek a nemzetek közt dicsőségét, mind a népek közt csodatetteit!
4 For the Lord is great and much to be praysed: he is to be feared aboue all gods.
Mert nagy az Örökkévaló és dicséretes nagyon, félelmetes Ő mind az istenek fölött.
5 For all the gods of the people are idoles: but the Lord made the heauens.
Mert mind a népek istenei bálványok, de az Örökkévaló az eget készítotte.
6 Strength and glory are before him: power and beautie are in his Sanctuarie.
Fenség és dísz van előtte, erő és pompa szentélyében.
7 Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glory and power.
Adjatok az Örökkévalónak, népek családjai, adjatok az Örökkévalónak dicsőséget és erőt;
8 Giue vnto the Lord the glory of his Name: bring an offering, and enter into his courtes.
adjátok az Örökkévalónak neve dicsőségét, vigyetek ajándékot és menjetek be udvaraiba!
9 Worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie: tremble before him all the earth.
Borúljatok le az Örökkévaló előtt szent díszben, reszkessetek tőle mind a földön levők!
10 Say among the nations, The Lord reigneth: surely the world shalbe stable, and not moue, and he shall iudge the people in righteousnesse.
Mondjátok a nemzetek közt: Az Örökkévaló király lett, szilárdan is áll a világ, nem inog meg; népeket itél egyenességgel.
11 Let the heauens reioyce, and let the earth be glad: let the sea roare, and all that therein is.
Örüljenek az egek s vigadjon a föld, dörögjön a tenger s teljessége;
12 Let the field be ioyfull, and all that is in it: let all the trees of the wood then reioyce
újjongjon a mező s mind a mi rajta van, akkor örvendjenek mind az erdő fái:
13 Before the Lord: for he commeth, for he cometh to iudge the earth: he wil iudge the world with righteousnes, and the people in his trueth.
az Örökkévaló előtt, mert jön, mert jön itélni a földet; itéli a világot igazsággal s a népeket hűségében.
