< Psalms 92 >

1 A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,
Ko e Saame pe ko e Hiva ki he ʻaho tapu. ‌ʻOku lelei ke ʻatu ʻae fakafetaʻi kia Sihova, pea ke hiva fakamālō ki ho huafa, ʻE fungani māʻolunga:
2 To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,
Ke fakahā atu hoʻo ʻaloʻofa ʻi he pongipongi, mo hoʻo moʻoni ʻi he pō kotoa pē,
3 Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.
‌ʻAki ʻae meʻa faiva ʻoku hongofulu hono filo, pea mo e saliteli; ʻaki ʻae leʻo mamafa ʻi he haʻape.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.
He kuo ke fakafiefiaʻi au, ʻE Sihova, ʻi hoʻo ngāue: te u vikiviki ʻi he ngaahi ngāue ʻa ho nima.
5 O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.
‌ʻE Sihova, ʻoku mātuʻaki lahi hoʻo ngaahi ngāue! pea ʻoku loloto ʻaupito hoʻo ngaahi fakakaukau.
6 An vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,
‌ʻOku ʻikai ʻiloʻi ʻe he tangata anga fakamanu; pea ʻoku ʻikai ʻilo eni ʻe he vale.
7 (When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.
‌ʻOka tupu ʻae kau angahala ʻo hangē ko e mohuku, pea ʻoka moʻui lelei ʻae kau fai kovi kotoa pē; ko e meʻa ia ke fakaʻauha ai ʻakinautolu ʻo taʻengata:
8 But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.
Ka ko koe, ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ke fungani māʻolunga ʻo taʻengata.
9 For loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.
Pea vakai, ko ho ngaahi fili, ʻE Sihova, ko e moʻoni ʻe ʻauha ho ngaahi fili; ʻe fakahēʻi ʻae kau fai kovi kotoa pē.
10 But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.
Ka te ke hiki hake hoku nifo ʻo hangē ko e nifo ʻoe liimi: ʻe tākai ʻaki au ʻae lolo foʻou.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.
Pea ʻe mamata foki ʻa hoku mata ki hoku ngaahi fili, pea ʻe fanongo ʻa hoku telinga, ki he angahala ʻoku tuʻu hake ʻo angatuʻu kiate au.
12 The righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.
‌ʻE lau maʻuiʻui ʻae angatonu ʻo hangē ko e ʻakau ko e ponga: ʻe tupu ia ʻo hangē ko e sita ʻi Lepanoni.
13 Such as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.
Ko kinautolu kuo tō ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova tenau lau maʻuiʻui ʻi he ngaahi lotoʻā ʻo hotau ʻOtua.
14 They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,
‌ʻE kei tupu ʻae fua ʻiate kinautolu ʻi heʻenau motuʻa; tenau sino lelei mo lau maʻuiʻui.
15 To declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.
Ke fakahā ʻoku angatonu ʻa Sihova: ko hoku maka ia, pea ʻoku ʻikai ha taʻemāʻoniʻoni ʻiate ia.
