Psalms 92
1 A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,
En Psalm till att sjunga på Sabbathsdagen. Det är en kostelig ting att tacka Herranom, och lofsjunga dino Namne, du Aldrahögste;
2 To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,
Om morgonen förkunna dina nåde. och om aftonen dina sanning;
3 Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.
På tio stränger, och psaltare; med spelande på harpo.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.
Ty, Herre, du låter mig gladeligen sjunga om dine verk, och jag berömmer dina händers verk.
5 O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.
Herre, huru äro dine verk så store! dine tankar äro så svåra djupe.
6 An vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,
En galen tror det intet, och en dåre aktar sådant intet.
7 (When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.
De ogudaktige grönskas såsom gräs, och de ogerningsmän blomstras alle; tilldess de förderfvade varda till evig tid.
8 But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.
Men du, Herre, äst den Högste, och blifver evinnerliga.
9 For loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.
Ty si, dine fiender, Herre, si, dine fiender skola förgås, och alle ogerningsmän måste förströdde varda.
10 But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.
Men mitt horn skall upphöjdt varda, såsom ens enhörnings, och jag varda smord med färska oljo.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.
Och mitt öga skall lust se på mina fiendar, och mitt öra skall lust höra på de arga, som sig emot mig sätta.
12 The righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.
Den rättfärdige skall grönskas, såsom ett palmträ; han skall växa, såsom ett cedreträ på Libanon.
13 Such as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.
De der planterade äro uti Herrans hus, de skola i vår Guds gårdom grönskas.
14 They shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,
Och om de än gamle varda, skola de likväl blomstras, fruktsamme och färske vara;
15 To declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.
Att de förkunna skola, att Herren så from är; min tröst, och intet orätt är i honom.
