Psalms 90
1 A prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, thou hast bene our habitation from generation to generation.
Señor, tú has sido nuestro lugar de descanso en todas las generaciones.
2 Before the mountaines were made, and before thou hadst formed the earth, and the world, euen from euerlasting to euerlasting thou art our God.
Antes de que se formaran las montañas, antes de que hubieras dado a luz a la tierra y al mundo, antes que el tiempo fuera, y para siempre, eres Dios.
3 Thou turnest man to destruction: againe thou sayest, Returne, ye sonnes of Adam.
Tú envías al hombre a su polvo; y dices: Vuelvan al polvo, hijos de hombres.
4 For a thousande yeeres in thy sight are as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Porque para ti mil años no son más que ayer cuando es pasado, y como una vigilia en la noche.
5 Thou hast ouerflowed them: they are as a sleepe: in the morning he groweth like the grasse:
Arrebatas a los hombres como torrentes de aguas, son como un sueño, como la hierba que crece en la mañana.
6 In the morning it florisheth and groweth, but in the euening it is cut downe and withereth.
En la mañana es verde; en la tarde es cortada, y se seca.
7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
Somos quemados por el calor de tu pasión, y turbados por tu ira.
8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, and our secret sinnes in the light of thy countenance.
Has puesto nuestras maldades delante de ti, nuestros pecados secretos a la luz de tu rostro.
9 For all our dayes are past in thine anger: we haue spent our yeeres as a thought.
Porque todos nuestros días han pasado en tu ira; nuestros años llegan a su fin como un respiro.
10 The time of our life is threescore yeeres and ten, and if they be of strength, fourescore yeeres: yet their strength is but labour and sorowe: for it is cut off quickly, and we flee away.
La medida de nuestra vida son setenta años; y si a través de la fuerza puede ser ochenta años, su orgullo es solo problemas y tristezas, ya que llega a su fin y nos vamos rápidamente.
11 Who knoweth the power of thy wrath? for according to thy feare is thine anger.
¿Quién tiene conocimiento del poder de tu ira, o quién toma nota del peso de tu pasión?
12 Teach vs so to nomber our dayes, that we may apply our heartes vnto wisdome.
Así que danos el conocimiento del número de nuestros días, para que podamos obtener un corazón de sabiduría.
13 Returne (O Lord, howe long?) and be pacified toward thy seruants.
Vuelve, oh SEÑOR; ¿cuánto tiempo? deja que tu propósito para tus sirvientes sea cambiado.
14 Fill vs with thy mercie in the morning: so shall we reioyce and be glad all our dayes.
Por la mañana, concédenos tu misericordia en toda su extensión; para que podamos tener gozo y deleite todos nuestros días.
15 Comfort vs according to the dayes that thou hast afflicted vs, and according to the yeeres that we haue seene euill.
Haznos felices en recompensa por los días de nuestra tristeza y por los años en que hemos visto el mal.
16 Let thy worke bee seene towarde thy seruants, and thy glory vpon their children.
Haz tu trabajo claro a tus siervos, y tu gloria a sus hijos.
17 And let the beautie of the Lord our God be vpon vs, and direct thou the worke of our hands vpon vs, euen direct the worke of our handes.
Sea el placer del Señor nuestro Dios sobre nosotros: Oh Señor, fortalece la obra de nuestras manos.
