Psalms 89
1 A Psalme to give instruction, of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing the mercies of the Lord for euer: with my mouth will I declare thy trueth from generation to generation.
௧எஸ்ரானாகிய ஏத்தானின் மஸ்கீல் என்னும் போதக பாடல். யெகோவாவின் கிருபைகளை என்றென்றைக்கும் பாடுவேன்; உமது உண்மையைத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என்னுடைய வாயினால் அறிவிப்பேன்.
2 For I said, Mercie shalbe set vp for euer: thy trueth shalt thou stablish in ye very heauens.
௨கிருபை என்றென்றைக்கும் உறுதிப்பட்டிருக்கும்; உமது உண்மையை வானங்களிலே நிறுவுவீர் என்றேன்.
3 I haue made a couenant with my chosen: I haue sworne to Dauid my seruant,
௩என்னால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவனோடு உடன்படிக்கை செய்து, என்னுடைய ஊழியனாகிய தாவீதை நோக்கி:
4 Thy seede will I stablish for euer, and set vp thy throne from generation to generation. (Selah)
௪என்றென்றைக்கும் உன்னுடைய சந்ததியை நிலைநிறுத்தி, தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக உன்னுடைய சிங்காசனத்தை நிறுவுவேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டேன் என்றீர். (சேலா)
5 O Lord, euen the heauens shall prayse thy wonderous worke: yea, thy trueth in the Congregation of the Saints.
௫யெகோவாவே, வானங்கள் உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களைத் துதிக்கும், பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சபையிலே உம்முடைய உண்மையும் விளங்கும்.
6 For who is equall to the Lord in the heauen? and who is like the Lord among the sonnes of the gods?
௬வானத்தில் யெகோவாவுக்கு சமமானவர் யார்? பலவான்களின் மகன்களில் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?
7 God is very terrible in the assemblie of the Saints, and to be reuerenced aboue all, that are about him.
௭தேவன் பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய ஆலோசனைச் சபையில் மிகவும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர், தம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிற அனைவராலும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர்.
8 O Lord God of hostes, who is like vnto thee, which art a mightie Lord, and thy trueth is about thee?
௮சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, உம்மைப்போல வல்லமையுள்ள யெகோவா யார்? உம்முடைய உண்மை உம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறது.
9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waues thereof arise, thou stillest them.
௯தேவனே நீர் கடலின் பெருமையை ஆளுகிறவர்; அதின் அலைகள் எழும்பும்போது அவைகளை அடங்கச்செய்கிறீர்.
10 Thou hast beaten downe Rahab as a man slaine: thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy mightie arme.
௧0நீர் ராகாபை வெட்டப்பட்ட ஒருவனைப்போல் நொறுக்கினீர்; உமது வல்லமையான கரத்தினால் உம்முடைய எதிரிகளைச் சிதறடித்தீர்.
11 The heauens are thine, the earth also is thine: thou hast layde the foundation of the world, and all that therein is.
௧௧வானங்கள் உம்முடையது, பூமியும் உம்முடையது, பூலோகத்தையும் அதிலுள்ள எல்லோரையும் நீரே அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தினீர்.
12 Thou hast created the North and the South: Tabor and Hermon shall reioyce in thy Name.
௧௨வடக்கையும் தெற்கையும் நீர் உண்டாக்கினீர்; தாபோரும் எர்மோனும் உம்முடைய பெயர் விளங்கக் கெம்பீரிக்கும்.
13 Thou hast a mightie arme: strong is thine hand, and high is thy right hand.
௧௩உமக்கு வல்லமையுள்ள கை இருக்கிறது; உம்முடைய கை பராக்கிரமமுள்ளது; உம்முடைய வலதுகை உன்னதமானது.
14 Righteousnesse and equitie are the stablishment of thy throne: mercy and trueth goe before thy face.
௧௪நீதியும் நியாயமும் உம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் ஆதாரம்; கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடக்கும்.
15 Blessed is the people, that can reioyce in thee: they shall walke in the light of thy countenance, O Lord.
௧௫கெம்பீரசத்தத்தை அறியும் மக்கள் பாக்கியமுள்ளவர்கள்; யெகோவாவே, அவர்கள் உம்முடைய முகத்தின் வெளிச்சத்தில் நடப்பார்கள்.
16 They shall reioyce continually in thy Name, and in thy righteousnes shall they exalt them selues.
௧௬அவர்கள் உம்முடைய பெயரில் நாள்தோறும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, உம்முடைய நீதியால் உயர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்.
17 For thou art the glory of their strength, and by thy fauour our hornes shall be exalted.
௧௭நீரே அவர்களுடைய பலத்தின் மகிமையாக இருக்கிறீர்; உம்முடைய தயவினால் எங்களுடைய கொம்பு உயரும்.
18 For our shield apperteineth to the Lord, and our King to the holy one of Israel.
௧௮யெகோவாவால் எங்களுடைய கேடகமும், இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தரால் எங்களுடைய ராஜாவும் உண்டு.
19 Thou spakest then in a vision vnto thine Holy one, and saydest, I haue layde helpe vpon one that is mightie: I haue exalted one chosen out of the people.
௧௯அப்பொழுது நீர் உம்முடைய பக்தனுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி: உதவிசெய்யக்கூடிய சக்தியை ஒரு வல்லமையுள்ளவன்மேல் வைத்து, மக்களில் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவனை உயர்த்தினேன்.
20 I haue found Dauid my seruant: with mine holy oyle haue I anoynted him.
௨0என்னுடைய ஊழியனாகிய தாவீதைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன்; என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த தைலத்தினால் அவனை அபிஷேகம் செய்தேன்.
21 Therefore mine hande shall be established with him, and mine arme shall strengthen him.
௨௧என்னுடைய கை அவனோடு உறுதியாக இருக்கும்; என்னுடைய கை அவனைப் பலப்படுத்தும்.
22 The enemie shall not oppresse him, neither shall the wicked hurt him.
௨௨எதிரி அவனை நெருக்குவதில்லை; துன்மார்க்கமான மகன் அவனை ஒடுக்குவதில்லை.
23 But I will destroy his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
௨௩அவனுடைய எதிரிகளை அவனுக்கு முன்பாக நொறுக்கி, அவனைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை வெட்டுவேன்.
24 My trueth also and my mercie shall be with him, and in my Name shall his horne be exalted.
௨௪என்னுடைய உண்மையும் என்னுடைய கிருபையும் அவனோடு இருக்கும்; என்னுடைய பெயரினால் அவன் கொம்பு உயரும்.
25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the floods.
௨௫அவனுடைய கையை மத்திய தரைக் கடலின்மேலும், அவனுடைய வலது கையை ஆறுகள்மேலும் ஆளும்படி வைப்பேன்.
26 He shall cry vnto mee, Thou art my Father, my God and the rocke of my saluation.
௨௬அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: நீர் என்னுடைய பிதா, என் தேவன், என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையென்று சொல்லுவான்.
27 Also I wil make him my first borne, higher then the Kings of the earth.
௨௭நான் அவனை எனக்கு முதலில் பிறந்தவனும், பூமியின் ராஜாக்களைவிட மகா உயர்ந்தவனுமாக்குவேன்.
28 My mercie will I keepe for him for euermore, and my couenant shall stande fast with him.
௨௮என்னுடைய கிருபையை என்றென்றைக்கும் அவனுக்காகக் காப்பேன்; என்னுடைய உடன்படிக்கை அவனுக்காக உறுதிப்படுத்தப்படும்.
29 His seede also will I make to endure for euer, and his throne as the dayes of heauen.
௨௯அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அவன் ராஜாசனம் வானங்களுள்ளவரை நிலைநிற்கவும் செய்வேன்.
30 But if his children forsake my Lawe, and walke not in my iudgements:
௩0அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி நடக்காமல், என்னுடைய வேதத்தை விட்டு விலகி;
31 If they breake my statutes, and keepe not my commandements:
௩௧என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல் என்னுடைய நியமங்களை மீறி நடந்தால்;
32 Then will I visite their transgression with the rod, and their iniquitie with strokes.
௩௨அவர்களுடைய மீறுதலை சாட்டையினாலும், அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை வாதைகளினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்.
33 Yet my louing kindnesse will I not take from him, neither will I falsifie my trueth.
௩௩ஆனாலும் என்னுடைய கிருபையை அவனை விட்டு விலக்காமலும், என்னுடைய உண்மையில் மீறாமலும் இருப்பேன்.
34 My couenant wil I not breake, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
௩௪என்னுடைய உடன்படிக்கையை மீறாமலும், என்னுடைய உதடுகள் சொன்னதை மாற்றாமலும் இருப்பேன்.
35 I haue sworne once by mine holines, that I will not fayle Dauid, saying,
௩௫ஒருமுறை என்னுடைய பரிசுத்தத்தின்பேரில் ஆணையிட்டேன், தாவீதிற்கு நான் பொய்சொல்லமாட்டேன்.
36 His seede shall endure for euer, and his throne shalbe as the sunne before me.
௩௬அவனுடைய சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்; அவனுடைய சிங்காசனம் சூரியனைப்போல எனக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்கும்.
37 He shalbe established for euermore as the moone, and as a faythfull witnes in the heauen. (Selah)
௩௭சந்திரனைப்போல அது என்றென்றைக்கும் உறுதியாயும், வானத்துச் சாட்சியைப்போல் உண்மையாயும் இருக்கும் என்று சொன்னீர். (சேலா)
38 But thou hast reiected and abhorred, thou hast bene angry with thine Anoynted.
௩௮ஆனாலும் நீர் எங்களை வெறுத்துத் தள்ளிவிட்டீர்; நீர் அபிஷேகம் செய்துவைத்தவன்மேல் கடுங்கோபமானீர்.
39 Thou hast broken the couenant of thy seruant, and profaned his crowne, casting it on the ground.
௩௯உமது அடியானுடன் நீர் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையை ஒழித்துவிட்டு, அவனுடைய கிரீடத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி அவமானப்படுத்தினீர்.
40 Thou hast broken downe all his walles: thou hast layd his fortresses in ruine.
௪0அவனுடைய மதில்களையெல்லாம் தகர்த்துப்போட்டு, அவனுடைய பாதுகாப்பான இடங்களைப் பாழாக்கினீர்.
41 All that goe by the way, spoyle him: he is a rebuke vnto his neighbours.
௪௧வழிநடக்கிற அனைவரும் அவனைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்; தன்னுடைய அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையானான்.
42 Thou hast set vp the right hand of his enemies, and made all his aduersaries to reioyce.
௪௨அவனுடைய எதிரிகளின் வலது கையை நீர் உயர்த்தி, அவனுடைய விரோதிகள் அனைவரும் சந்தோஷிக்கும்படி செய்தீர்.
43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sworde, and hast not made him to stand in the battell.
௪௩அவனுடைய வாளின் கூர்மையை மழுங்கச்செய்து, அவனை யுத்தத்தில் நிற்காதபடி செய்தீர்.
44 Thou hast caused his dignitie to decay, and cast his throne to the ground.
௪௪அவனுடைய மகிமையை இல்லாமல்போகச்செய்து, அவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளினீர்.
45 The dayes of his youth hast thou shortned, and couered him with shame. (Selah)
௪௫அவனுடைய வாலிபநாட்களைக் குறுக்கி, அவனை வெட்கத்தால் மூடினீர். (சேலா)
46 Lord, howe long wilt thou hide thy selfe, for euer? shall thy wrath burne like fire?
௪௬எதுவரைக்கும், யெகோவாவே! நீர் என்றைக்கும் மறைந்திருப்பீரோ? உமது கோபம் அக்கினியைப்போல எரியுமோ?
47 Remember of what time I am: wherefore shouldest thou create in vaine all the children of men?
௪௭என்னுடைய உயிர் எவ்வளவு நிலையற்றது என்பதை நினைத்தருளும்; மனிதர்கள் அனைவரையும் வீணாக படைக்கவேண்டியதென்ன?
48 What man liueth, and shall not see death? shall hee deliuer his soule from the hande of the graue? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
௪௮மரணத்தைக் காணாமல் உயிரோடு இருப்பவன் யார்? தன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாள வல்லமைக்கு விலக்கிவிடுகிறவன் யார்? (சேலா) (Sheol h7585)
49 Lord, where are thy former mercies, which thou swarest vnto Dauid in thy trueth?
௪௯ஆண்டவரே, நீர் தாவீதிற்கு உம்முடைய உண்மையைக்கொண்டு சத்தியம்செய்த உமது ஆரம்பநாட்களின் கிருபைகள் எங்கே?
50 Remember, O Lord, the rebuke of thy seruants, which I beare in my bosome of all the mightie people.
௫0ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய எதிரிகள் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களையும், நீர் அபிஷேகம் செய்தவனின் காலடிகளையும் நிந்திக்கிறபடியினால்,
51 For thine enemies haue reproched thee, O Lord, because they haue reproched the footesteps of thine Anointed.
௫௧யெகோவாவே, உமது அடியார் சுமக்கும் நிந்தையையும், வலுமையான மக்கள் எல்லோராலும் நான் என்னுடைய மடியில் சுமக்கும் என்னுடைய நிந்தையையும் நினைத்தருளும்.
52 Praised be the Lord for euermore. So be it, euen so be it.
௫௨யெகோவாவுக்கு என்றென்றைக்கும் நன்றி உண்டாகட்டும். ஆமென். ஆமென்.
