Psalms 86
1 A prayer of David. Incline thine eare, O Lord, and heare me: for I am poore and needy.
Ein Gebet Davids. Neige, o HERR, dein Ohr, erhöre mich,
2 Preserue thou my soule, for I am mercifull: my God, saue thou thy seruant, that trusteth in thee.
Bewahre meine Seele, denn ich bin fromm; hilf du, mein Gott, deinem Knecht, der auf dich vertraut!
3 Be mercifull vnto me, O Lord: for I crie vpon thee continually.
Sei mir gnädig, o Allherr, denn zu dir rufe ich allezeit.
4 Reioyce the soule of thy seruant: for vnto thee, O Lord, doe I lift vp my soule.
Erfreue das Herz deines Knechtes, denn zu dir, o Allherr, erheb’ ich meine Seele.
5 For thou, Lord, art good and mercifull, and of great kindenes vnto all them, that call vpon thee.
Denn du, o Allherr, bist gütig und bereit zum Verzeihen, bist reich an Gnade für alle, die dich anrufen.
6 Giue eare, Lord, vnto my prayer, and hearken to the voyce of my supplication.
Vernimm, o HERR, mein Gebet und merke auf mein lautes Flehen!
7 In the day of my trouble I will call vpon thee: for thou hearest me.
Bin ich in Not, so ruf’ ich zu dir, denn du erhörst mich.
8 Among the gods there is none like thee, O Lord, and there is none that can doe like thy workes.
Keiner kommt dir gleich unter den Göttern, o Allherr, und nichts ist deinen Werken vergleichbar.
9 All nations, whome thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorifie thy Name.
Alle Völker, die du geschaffen, werden kommen und vor dir anbeten, o Allherr, und deinen Namen ehren;
10 For thou art great and doest wonderous things: thou art God alone.
denn du bist groß, und Wunder tust du: ja du, nur du bist Gott.
11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and I will walke in thy trueth: knit mine heart vnto thee, that I may feare thy Name.
Lehre mich, HERR, deinen Weg, daß ich ihn wandle in deiner Wahrheit; richte mein Herz auf das Eine, daß es deinen Namen fürchte!
12 I wil prayse thee, O Lord my God, with all mine heart: yea, I wil glorifie thy Name for euer.
Preisen will ich dich, Allherr, mein Gott, von ganzem Herzen und deinen Namen ewiglich ehren;
13 For great is thy mercie toward me, and thou hast deliuered my soule from the lowest graue. (Sheol h7585)
denn deine Gnade ist groß gegen mich gewesen: du hast meine Seele errettet aus der Tiefe des Totenreichs. (Sheol h7585)
14 O God, the proude are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men haue sought my soule, and haue not set thee before them.
O Gott! Vermessene haben sich gegen mich erhoben, eine Rotte von Schreckensmännern steht mir nach dem Leben; sie haben dich nicht vor Augen.
15 But thou, O Lord, art a pitifull God and mercifull, slowe to anger and great in kindenes and trueth.
Doch du, o Allherr, bist ein Gott voll Erbarmen und Gnade, langmütig und reich an Gnade und Treue.
16 Turne vnto me, and haue mercy vpon me: giue thy strength vnto thy seruant, and saue the sonne of thine handmayd.
Wende dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig; verleih deine Kraft deinem Knecht und hilf dem Sohne deiner Magd!
17 Shew a token of thy goodnes towarde me, that they which hate me, may see it, and be ashamed, because thou, O Lord, hast holpen me and comforted me.
Tu ein Zeichen an mir zum Guten, daß meine Feinde es sehn und sich schämen müssen, weil du, o HERR, mein Helfer und Tröster gewesen!
