Psalms 83
1 A song, or Psalme committed to Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: bee not still, and cease not, O God.
Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! xin chớ làm thinh. Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! xin chớ nín lặng, chớ đứng yên.
2 For lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee, haue lifted vp the head.
Vì, kìa, các kẻ thù nghịch Chúa náo loạn, Và những kẻ ghét Chúa ngước đầu lên.
3 They haue taken craftie counsell against thy people, and haue consulted against thy secret ones.
Chúng nó toan mưu độc hại dân sự Chúa, Bàn nghị nhau nghịch những kẻ Chúa che giấu.
4 They haue said, Come and let vs cut them off from being a nation: and let the name of Israel be no more in remembrance.
Chúng nó nói rằng: Hãy đến tuyệt diệt chúng nó đến nỗi không còn làm nước, Hầu cho danh Y-sơ-ra-ên không còn được kỷ niệm nữa.
5 For they haue consulted together in heart, and haue made a league against thee:
Vì chúng nó một lòng bàn nghị nhau, Lập giao ước nghịch cùng Chúa:
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Agarims:
Các trại Ê-đôm và người Ích-ma-ên, Mô-áp và người Ha-ga-rít.
7 Gebal and Ammon, and Amalech, the Philistims with the inhabitants of Tyrus:
Ghê-banh, Am-môn, và A-ma-léc, Người Phi-li-tin, với dân Ty-rơ;
8 Asshur also is ioyned with them: they haue bene an arme to the children of Lot. (Selah)
A-si-ri cũng hiệp với chúng nó, Mà giúp đỡ cơ cấu Lót.
9 Doe thou to them as vnto the Midianites: as to Sisera and as to Iabin at the riuer of Kishon.
Hãy đãi chúng nó như Ma-đi-an, Như Si-sê-ra, như Gia-bin tại khe Ki-sôn,
10 They perished at En-dor, and were dung for the earth.
Là kẻ bị hư nát tại Eân-Ðô-rơ, Trở thành phân cho đất.
11 Make them, euen their princes like Oreb and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes like Zebah and like Zalmuna.
Hãy làm cho các người tước vị chúng nó giống như Ô-rép và Xê-ép. Và hết thảy quan trưởng họ giống như Xê-bách và Xanh-mu-na;
12 Which haue said, Let vs take for our possession the habitations of God.
Vì chúng nó nói rằng: Ta hãy chiếm lấy làm của Các nơi ở Ðức Chúa Trời.
13 O my God, make them like vnto a wheele, and as the stubble before the winde.
Ðức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! hãy làm cho chúng nó giống như bụi bị gió cuộn, Tợ như rơm rạ ở trước gió.
14 As the fire burneth the forest, and as the flame setteth the mountaines on fire:
Lửa thiêu đốt rừng, Lửa ngọn cháy núi thể nào,
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraide with thy storme.
Hãy lấy trận bão Chúa đuổi rượt chúng nó, Và dùng dông tố Chúa khiến chúng nó kinh khiếp thể ấy.
16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seeke thy Name, O Lord.
Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy làm mặt chúng nó đầy nhuốc nhơ, Ðể chúng nó tìm cầu danh Ngài.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for euer: yea, let them be put to shame and perish,
Nguyện chúng nó bị hổ thẹn và thất kinh đến đời đời; Nguyện chúng nó bị hổ ngươi và hư mất;
18 That they may knowe that thou, which art called Iehouah, art alone, euen the most High ouer all the earth.
Hầu cho chúng nó biết rằng chỉ một mình Chúa, danh là Ðức Giê-hô-va, Là Ðấng Chí cao trên khắp trái đất.
