Psalms 83
1 A song, or Psalme committed to Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: bee not still, and cease not, O God.
੧ਗੀਤ। ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਹੋ, ਚੁੱਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਅਤੇ ਚੈਨ ਨਾ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ!
2 For lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee, haue lifted vp the head.
੨ਵੇਖ ਤਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਹੁੱਲੜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਸਿਰ ਉਠਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ!
3 They haue taken craftie counsell against thy people, and haue consulted against thy secret ones.
੩ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਛਲ ਮਤਾ ਮਤਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਖਵੇਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਗੋਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਗੰਢਦੇ ਹਨ।
4 They haue said, Come and let vs cut them off from being a nation: and let the name of Israel be no more in remembrance.
੪ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਆਓ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਈਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਫੇਰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ!
5 For they haue consulted together in heart, and haue made a league against thee:
੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਗੋਸ਼ਟ ਗੰਢੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨਿਆ ਹੈ,
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Agarims:
੬ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਮਾਏਲੀ, ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਗਰੀ,
7 Gebal and Ammon, and Amalech, the Philistims with the inhabitants of Tyrus:
੭ਗਬਾਲ, ਅੰਮੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਾਲੇਕ, ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਸਣੇ,
8 Asshur also is ioyned with them: they haue bene an arme to the children of Lot. (Selah)
੮ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਗਿਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਾਂਹ ਕੱਢੀ। ਸਲਹ।
9 Doe thou to them as vnto the Midianites: as to Sisera and as to Iabin at the riuer of Kishon.
੯ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਰ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਤੂੰ ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੇਸ, ਅਤੇ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਸ਼ੋਨ ਨਦੀ ਕੋਲ ਯਾਬੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ!
10 They perished at En-dor, and were dung for the earth.
੧੦ਏਨ-ਦੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਹ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਏ, ਓਹ ਰੂੜੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ।
11 Make them, euen their princes like Oreb and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes like Zebah and like Zalmuna.
੧੧ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਤਵੰਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਰੇਬ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਏਬ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਬਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਮੁੰਨਾ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਕਰ,
12 Which haue said, Let vs take for our possession the habitations of God.
੧੨ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਈਏ!
13 O my God, make them like vnto a wheele, and as the stubble before the winde.
੧੩ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਵਰੋਲੇ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ, ਅਤੇ ਪੌਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਡਾਏ ਕੱਖ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਕਰ।
14 As the fire burneth the forest, and as the flame setteth the mountaines on fire:
੧੪ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਬਣ ਨੂੰ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਲਾਟ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜਦੀ ਹੈ,
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraide with thy storme.
੧੫ਤਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੱਖੜ-ਝੋਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਸੁਕਾ!
16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seeke thy Name, O Lord.
੧੬ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਲੇ ਕਰ, ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਣ।
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for euer: yea, let them be put to shame and perish,
੧੭ਓਹ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਮਾਨ ਹੋਣ, ਓਹ ਘਬਰਾ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣ,
18 That they may knowe that thou, which art called Iehouah, art alone, euen the most High ouer all the earth.
੧੮ਕਿ ਓਹ ਜਾਣਨ ਕਿ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈਂ!
