Psalms 82

1 A Psalme committed to Aspah. God standeth in the assemblie of gods: hee iudgeth among gods.

Salmo de Asaf. Dios se levanta en la reunión de los dioses; en medio de ellos va a juzgarlos.

2 How long wil ye iudge vniustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? (Selah)

“¿Hasta cuándo fallaréis injustamente y haréis acepción de personas con los inicuos?

3 Doe right to the poore and fatherlesse: doe iustice to the poore and needie.

Haced justicia al oprimido y al huérfano; amparad al afligido y al menesteroso;

4 Deliuer the poore and needie: saue them from the hand of the wicked.

librad al desvalido y al necesitado, arrancadlo de la mano de los impíos.”

5 They knowe not and vnderstand nothing: they walke in darkenes, albeit all the foundations of the earth be mooued.

Pero no saben, ni entienden; andan en tinieblas; por eso vacilan todos los fundamentos de la tierra.

6 I haue said, Ye are gods, and ye all are children of the most High.

Es cierto que Yo dije: “Dioses sois, e hijos todos del Altísimo.

7 But ye shall die as a man, and yee princes, shall fall like others.

Pero moriréis como hombres, y caeréis como cae cualquier príncipe.”

8 O God, arise, therefore iudge thou the earth: for thou shalt inherite all nations.

Levántate, Dios; juzga a la tierra, porque Tú has de dominar sobre todas las naciones.
