Psalms 79
1 A Psalme committed to Asaph. O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance: thine holy Temple haue they defiled, and made Ierusalem heapes of stones.
| مزمور آساف ای خدا، امت‌ها به میراث تو داخل شده، هیکل قدس تو را بی‌عصمت ساختند. اورشلیم را خرابه‌ها نمودند. | ۱ |
2 The dead bodies of thy seruats haue they giuen to be meat vnto foules of ye heauen: and the flesh of thy Saintes vnto the beastes of the earth.
| لاشهای بندگانت را به مرغان هوا برای خوراک دادند وگوشت مقدسانت را به وحوش صحرا. | ۲ |
3 Their blood haue they shead like waters rounde about Ierusalem, and there was none to burie them.
| خون ایشان را گرداگرد اورشلیم مثل آب ریختند وکسی نبود که ایشان را دفن کند. | ۳ |
4 Wee are a reproche to our neighbours, euen a scorne and derision vnto them that are round about vs.
| نزد همسایگان خود عار گردیده‌ایم و نزد مجاوران خویش استهزا و سخریه شده‌ایم. | ۴ |
5 Lord, howe long wilt thou be angrie, for euer? shall thy gelousie burne like fire?
| تا کی‌ای خداوند تا به ابد خشمناک خواهی بود؟ آیا غیرت تو مثل آتش افروخته خواهد شد تا ابدالاباد؟ | ۵ |
6 Powre out thy wrath vpon the heathen that haue not knowen thee, and vpon the kingdomes that haue not called vpon thy Name.
| قهر خودرا بر امت هایی که تو را نمی شناسند بریز و برممالکی که نام تو را نمی خوانند! | ۶ |
7 For they haue deuoured Iaakob and made his dwelling place desolate.
| زیرا که یعقوب را خورده، و مسکن او را خراب کرده‌اند. | ۷ |
8 Remember not against vs the former iniquities, but make haste and let thy tender mercies preuent vs: for we are in great miserie.
| گناهان اجداد ما را بر ما بیاد میاور. رحمت های تو بزودی پیش روی ما آید زیرا که بسیار ذلیل شده‌ایم. | ۸ |
9 Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glorie of thy Name, and deliuer vs, and be mercifull vnto our sinnes for thy Names sake.
| ای خدا، ای نجات‌دهنده ما، به‌خاطر جلال نام خود ما را یاری فرما و ما رانجات ده و بخاطر نام خود گناهان ما را بیامرز. | ۹ |
10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be knowen among the heathen in our sight by the vengeance of the blood of thy seruants that is shed.
| چرا امت‌ها گویند که خدای ایشان کجاست؟ انتقام خون بندگانت که ریخته شده است، برامت‌ها در نظر ما معلوم شود. | ۱۰ |
11 Let the sighing of the prisoners come before thee: according to thy mightie arme preserue the children of death,
| ناله اسیران به حضور تو برسد. به حسب عظمت بازوی خود آنانی را که به موت سپرده شده‌اند، برهان. | ۱۱ |
12 And render to our neighbours seuen folde into their bosome their reproche, wherewith they haue reproched thee, O Lord.
| وجزای هفت چندان به آغوش همسایگان مارسان، برای اهانتی که به تو کرده‌اند، ای خداوند. | ۱۲ |
13 So wee thy people, and sheepe of thy pasture shall praise thee for euer: and from generation to generation we will set foorth thy praise.
| پس ما که قوم تو و گوسفندان مرتع تو هستیم، تو را تا به ابد شکر خواهیم گفت و تسبیح تو رانسلا بعد نسل ذکر خواهیم نمود. | ۱۳ |
